Durable nap mat
We purchased these after our other cheap ones fell apart. I love the durability and small details that make this so much better than our first choice. I love no Velcro and the straps. The little hook loop detail makes it easy to hang in a cubby. My kids love them.

Bought this cot cover for my daughter who was transitioning from a crib to a cot at daycare and this cover really helped her transition with zero issues!

Comfortable for all children. Blanket attached, which helps centers not lose the item. And a cozy pocket for a stuffy or pacifier. Could use a button of some sort to prevent children from pulling the pillow out all the time. But a great item!

These mats are great for preschool naptime. They stay on the cots and provide the required bottom and top cover. They are easy to wash as well.

We've been using the Urban nap mat for nearly a year now. It's great. The pillow is removable and the whole thing washes up nicely. We roll it up and strap it, then they can carry it like a little bag. My daughter carries her own into daycare every morning. Great product.

Daycare teacher recommends Urban Infant for secure fit on cots
Urban infant or another brand with the straps that go over the cot. Because otherwise kids kick them off and the kid ends up sleeping on the plastic. But some new staff also roll their eyes because the material is so thin you need to order the extra mat too. We provide mats at my center so it works.

Positive recommendation for Urban Infant nap mat on cots
I’ve seen the Tot Cot recommended so many times and it’s what I use for my daughter. Just be sure you get the updated version where the pillow is machine washable. It’s really easy to roll and unroll and holds up great in the wash.

Comparison to Pottery Barn nap mat shows Urban Infant more secure
I had the pottery barn 'bear' kids nap mat. The fabric is softer than urban infant tot cot and the mat is thicker... The reason I am not using the pottery kids nap mat is because they teacher said it will not stay on the 1" plastic mat. I really like Urban nap mat because it will secure very nicely to the 2" mat with the straps. I like the urban better because I can remove the pillow and it will dry quicker.
