Mixed experiences with Safety 1st All-in-One: budget pick with installation challenges
We have the Safety 1st Grow and Go in my husband’s car. It’s fine. It’s a bit harder to install than the Graco Extend2Fit we have in my car, but for the price it’s good. My daughter seems comfortable enough. The straps can be a bit tricky to tighten. Overall, it’s a decent budget seat. Some users also noted it's compact and fits well in smaller cars, but installation, especially rear-facing with seat belt, requires effort.

Overwhelmed parent considers Safety 1st among budget options
I’m looking at the Safety 1st Grow and Go because it’s so affordable. I’ve heard mixed things about installation. Some say it’s a pain, others say it’s fine once you get used to it. For the price, I might take a chance. I also looked at the Cosco Scenera but it seems too bare bones.

Swivel seat comparison: Safety 1st vs Evenflo
I know the Safety 1st Turn and Go isn't the same as the Grow and Go, but I wanted to share that we love the swivel feature. For a budget brand, Safety 1st has been reliable. The Grow and Go is a solid choice if you don't need the swivel, but we wanted the convenience. Evenflo is also good but pricier.

Comparing Safety 1st Grow and Go to Graco 4Ever
We have both the Safety 1st Grow and Go and the Graco 4Ever. The 4Ever is definitely nicer—easier install, better padding. But the Grow and Go is half the price and does the job. I use the Safety 1st in my partner's car and it's fine for shorter trips. Kids don't complain.

Safety 1st Grow and Go praised for compact size in small cars
I have a Honda Civic and the Safety 1st Grow and Go fits great rear-facing. It's one of the few seats that doesn't force the passenger seat all the way forward. Installation was tough at first but after two tries I got it rock solid. Definitely recommend for small cars.

Safety 1st Turn and Go harness issue highlights potential strap problems
This is about the Turn and Go, but I've heard similar complaints about the Grow and Go: the harness straps can be really hard to tighten and they twist easily. The harness holders are a joke. But again, for the price, you deal with it. Just something to be aware of if you're considering the brand.
