We bought this for our son a couple years ago and have no complaints. We like it so much we just bought another for our daughter. Easy to use and install.

After reading a lot of reviews on a lot of different car seats, I bought this car seat for our second car.I've come to like this car seat more than the one I have in my primary/daily driver. It was easy to install and it is lightweight. It was a good price and I signed up for the email alerts and I received an extra code to use.

So pleased with this car seat. It was a gift to my 10 month grandson. He is very happy with his new car seat. And his mom and dad are happy to. Its perfect.

Giving 4 stars because it just didn't quite suit our needs. It was pretty difficult to get my wiggly baby in and out because the sides are narrow. Which is why I wanted it to start. But baby needed a bit more space on the aides

Quality is nice, built sturdily and the fabric is very nice and cushioned but seems like it will be durable. I like the ball feature to ensure it’s at the right level, and the chest clip is easier to undo than the evenflo I had for my first child. But for the price point, it could definitely use the upgraded latch system! This seat comes with the annoying, basic metal latch. I much prefer the ones on my evenflo seat at the same price point, that had the easy remove red tabs to release from the latch.

Easy to install, adjust, and is comfy for my toddler. The pull strap to tighten the belt is a little stiffer and harder to tighten then our other graco transition seat but still a good buy.

In the world of car seats, it seems like there are an overwhelming amount of options out there these days. After reading tons of reviews, I ended up purchasing this seat because it seemed to hit so many of my wants and needs and at a great price. I am so glad I did. Absolutely love this seat! I bought this for my 11 month old who is outgrowing her initial graco infant seat. I like that you are able to put the seat in a recline position for little ones who seem to always fall asleep on car rides to put less strain on their little necks and avoid the dreaded head bobble. The seat itself was a little difficult to tighten down properly when installing it, but overall it took less than 5 mins by myself. The restraint system is very easy to use and fits nicely. The padding is soft, comfortable, and appears very durable. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and even ended up purchasing a second one for my husbands vehicle!

My 16 month old grandson didn't complain. Carseat seems sturdy and well padded. I like that it can be used for older children also, since I will only use it occasionally for my grandson.

I love Graco products. But I am always finding some difficulty in its functioning. Just like with my infant car seat, after strapping the baby in, pulling the cord at the foot to tighten and secure him is very hard. I press on the lever to give the cord way to slide but I can't pull It.

The seat itself is great, I just wish it had the in InRight LATCH system like the 4ever DLX has.

Really, really difficult to install & adjust the incline once it’s buckled in. But, love that everything comes off to be able to wash it, headrest really easy to adjust, seems really good & sturdy.

After figuring out how to properly install, it was a breeze. Works as should. Only issue was delivery. I ordered two as I have twins, they came on different dates and both were Delivered two days later than It showed on my tracker.

I have had this car seat for over 2 years. I love that you can have it rare faced or forward when the child is 2 years of age. I also like the fact that you can set it to different positions based on the growth/age of your child. It’s also a strong car seat & comfortable for baby. Overall I can say it’s of great quality.

Our daughter was born almost 2 months early and ended up needing a carbed for a few months (she was too little for any car seat) once she graduated we wanted to be sure she was snug and safe. This was our fav. Pick And although it’s definitely a bit bulky it’s layered in a way that adds safety with comfort. Also, this has been the best support for when she falls asleep, her head pretty much stays in place. We have a 4 yr old who we never really figured that part out haha poor kiddo. Anyways overall I’m happy

I found this as well as another Graco carseat to both be comfortable, safe, and practical for our growing toddler! She has leg room, cup holders, and a comfortable, secure place for her head and neck. The straps are a bit difficult to tighten and loosen, but this is not a major issue at all. We have now had 3 Graco carseats!

I bought because my truck does not have the Anchors in the middle seat so I needed something where the seat belt stayed tight without using the a locking tool. This one does that awesome. Easy to install.

I bought the Graco Premier 4Ever DLX Extend2Fit 4-in-1 w/ Anti-Rebound Bar a few weeks ago. My 3.5 year old is also in a Graco convertible carseat so naturally we decided to go with the same for my baby. My second little guy is 6 months old and was not happy in his infant seat anymore. He used to cry the entire ride. I tried changing a bunch of things about our trip but nothing helped. We finally decided to try a bigger carseat and what a HUGE difference. He's super comfortable and no longer cries. He falls asleep very quickly so Mommy and baby have a much better ride.

The seat is very well-made and easy to use and adjust. It is a little large. Some smaller cars may not be big enough for this seat.

Safety was primarily the influence for my purchase but durability and reviews made it final. This although a lil bulky is a true grow with your child seat that they will enjoy both rear and front facing.

I am so happy with this purchase! The price was great considering the carseat is useable for newborns-kids up to 100 pounds! The seat is so easy to adjust, no rethreading straps, which is a huge plus for me because my grandkids are different sizes, so this feature was a must for me. The cover is also easy to remove for washing.

I bought this car seat a month ago on sale. For the money this seat can not be beat. My little loves this seat because it is comfortable padding. It has a lot of adjustments that make them comfortable. I don’t think their is a car seat in its price range that matches the quality of this seat!

My husband and I each have one in our cars. This product was easy to install and it is easy to use. The button to tighten the straps can be a bit tough at times but overall this is a good product.

Because of the pandemic and the complete lack of travel last year, we were able to really take our time both shopping for and waiting on sales for a good car seat. After a lot or research, we went with the TriRide and have been very happy. At first the installation seemed tricky, but after a couple of tries, we can easily move it as needed from our vehicles. My son loves how it sits up so he can see out and seems very comfortable, even on some of our longer road trips. It also cleans up great -- You can wipe off all the of the surfaces easily OR simply remove and wash nearly all of it. Overall, we've been happy and will probably purchase a second!

Got this as a second car seat for my husband’s vehicle (which means it’s mostly used on the weekend). Absolutely works great for that purpose! It is a little harder to pull the strap to tighten the shoulder strap than I’d prefer, but it’s still doable, it just requires a good amount of leverage. I don’t love that in order to get a proper rear facing fit in the car, the manual recommends rolling a towel up under it? It just doesn’t feel super safe to me in that matter.

Very comfortable for my 2.5 year old. We have the Slimfit LX which is good too, but don’t necessarily need a narrow car seat so this feels roomier in our truck. The passenger seat doesn’t need to be pushed all the way up which is a plus.

For being a lower price compared to another model I got, this one is still pretty nice. Installing it was not as easy, but it still is similar like the other gracos. Cup holder is a must, so I'm glad this one had it. We purchased this because we trust Graco as I have had other products that work great for us. But want to add, we have not used it yet, as it is a backup for grandma's car.

While the seat doesn't have some of the nice features of the more expensive models it's still good value for money. It's seat that will last a long time!

So often seats feel cheap - not what you want in a car seat. This seat feels incredibly solid, *and* the strap to tighten works so well. Others seats are hard to adjust but not this one. All around, we love it and have confidence in its safety.

Great car seat. We have 5 total of these seats. The head rest foam did break on our first set so you have to be careful with the head rest. They are easy to break but graco replaced them for us

This is my second triride. I really like this car seat, as does my son. We use it in my truck. The first one kept him safe in a car crash only had a bruise on his chin. So we got this one since it was exactly like the last one as per my son’s request. It’s fairly easy to install and take out if I need my back seat for something else.

The TriRide works perfectly for our twins. It is so easy to adjust the recline of the seat (rear-facing) and the height of the shoulder straps. I will be recommending this car seat to all my mom friends!

Perfect carseat for my neice who is almost 2. Easy to use and fasten in car.

Pretty easy to install, but I wish it had the feature that the older models have for leveling. I did not realize this model only has a sticker, instead of the little leveler ball inside the window so it was a bit trickier to tell when it was exactly level. Other than that it's nice, good quality, kids seem comfortable in it, and able to be installed solo.

This car seat is perfect for my toddler! I love that rear & foward facing. I really want to get another one for her grandma's car.

Overall, love this car seat. We have purchased 4 in total (2 replacements due to car accidents). The reason I gave it 4 stars is they did away with the easy to read level on the latest model. And I wish the In-Right LATCH was installed versus the hook LATCH. We still love it though!

We really enjoyed our carseat! For what we get, it is a steal! I am considering buying other one for my husband's car. It is very easy to use, only thing I would LOVE is level sign to show how level the car seat, but it works very well without. It looks very comfortable, my daughter does great in it! Few cons, cup holders come off easily, my 6 month old daughter loves to kick em off. I might've installed it wrong, because one stays on well other comes off easily. There are no level to show you how level the chair is.

This seat is nice and plush and very sturdy feeling! It has little channels where you can tuck the belts as you are putting your child in. It has an easy adjustment for the head rest height and a slim front to back profile. I’m excited to use the other conversions throughout the years!

Not crazy heavy! Little bit difficult with the way the hip pads work....they don't evenly go on either side of child, so not sure about that.

This is a great budget friendly carseat that truly grows with your child. From infancy all the way uo to school age. Easy to instal, easy ti clean and easy to travel with. Not too bukly and yet has all the safety features you need. Graco is a brand I can always trust.

Pro: quality seat for good price Cons: we have the extend2fit also in our other vehicle and this one needs to be reclined more to be properly installed and the head and body cushions have a lower weight limit (20 lbs). Very minor things but might have gotten another e2f had I known those things.

Easy to install and easy to buckle up. Forward facing recline angle is awkward. It's too upright and forces the head forward and down. Maybe better as he grows. Current size is 32" tall and 29 lbs.

We bought two of these. I grew up with Graco and it's a brand I trust. The downside of this car seat is the installation. Getting the car seat tether to pull tight enough was almost impossible. My fiance who is very strong struggled to get it to pull tight enough to ensure the restrictions of movement in the instructions. There is absolutely no way I could have done this by myself. It's a faulty design and it's disappointing.

I bought this as many had recommended it and apparently graco is one of the top brands. My son never had a problem on his previous car seat but anytime I put him in the trio grow he screams as soon as he is buckled in. I have tried everything to fix the issues, with inserts, without inserts, slightly adjusting the strap position. His body seems slouched in it and it's awful having to put him it in.

I bought this car seat for my grandson when he needed a bigger car seat but then had bought one the that turned around will I need to use this one and it was ok but when a a 2 year old can unlock it there is a problem with it!!!! I would gave it a 1 star ⭐️ rating on that !!!!!!

I would say I love this car seat if it wasn’t for such a tight straps. Once you go past certain point it’s almost impossible to tighten them. We have this car seat in my husband’s car and even he struggles with it. So much that he hurt his wrist and had to get x-ray and MRI and deals with pain from it still. So now we are looking into buying something different. I am sad because it’s a good seat otherwise and could last us a long time.

This car seat needs some improvement. Came here to read reviews and noticed another mom has the same issue…now I know I’m not overthinking. I have a Chico infant car seat my 15 month old can still use because of her weight. I transitioned to this car seat because of the multiple recliner adjustments and felt the infant car seat doesn’t allow her to sit up as much as she should now that she’s in the beginning toddler stages. My first observation, her neck seemed very uncomfortable. This frustrated me, I adjusted the seat multiple times, eventually choosing to recline backwards more (slightly similar to the infant car seat). Adjusting her to sit up more (rear facing) causes her head and neck strangely to still seem uncomfortable. To help with this, I had to remove some of the cushions, unfortunately. When she falls asleep her head and neck completely fall forward as to leaning to the side on the cushions, not sure if this happens with every car seat? I’m a first time mom and this didn’t happen with the Chico brand infant car seat. Secondly, there is no freedom to adjust the straps. Basically whichever level you adjust the headrest to, the straps automatically adjust. My daughter is petite so I couldn’t imagine a bigger sized baby or toddler fitting in this seat honestly. The only plus about this car seat would be the cup holders, the base is included, and I guess the different reclining stages. Also, the car seat grows with the baby which I like. I received this as a gift and wish I saved the box to return it. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this car seat. It’s not comfortable and I think that is a major take away especially for a child.

This car seat is almost impossible to install. Even the instruction manual doesn't help, although it says to go to www.gracobaby.com and the Tri ride product page to view installation videos, there are NONE on that website. Poor poor product and customer service.

We loved our Graco infant carseat, so when it was time to switch to a rear-facing toddler carseat, we bought the tri-ride 3-in-1. The problem is that the lever to loosen the straps is under the seat so far that I have to get my entire hand and wrist between the seat and the carseat, and put it in an odd position under the seat to find the lever. I am a 100 pound woman with thin hands; I already warned my husband that there is no way he will be able to loosen the straps without un-installing the seat. Unless I am completely missing something, this seems like an absurd design which will only work while the seat is forward facing.

This car seat is AWFUL. I wish I was in the return window bc it’s about to go in the garbage. Do not waste your money on this. I tried to install myself 4x and it was completely infuriating. The straps to get baby In and out are SO stiff- and yes, the seat is “broken in”. They definitely cut corners on this. Worst of all- baby is in a C shape and chin to chest. They need to stop selling this seat. My son absolutely hates it and looks so uncomfortable and it breaks my heart. Graco should be ashamed for putting such a poorly designed product on the market. Save your money and get a better seat. I always liked and respected Graco but I will definitely be moving to a different brand after this seat.

I bought this seat hoping to be able to use it for a long time with my daughter. This is the third graco car seat I’ve purchased and the only one with straps that won’t tighten. My 13 month old has been able to slip out of the car seat straps TWICE even after tightening the straps to remove all slack. I don’t feel like she’s safe in this seat. I tried calling customer service for help and they’re closed.

I bought three of these to use as rear- and forward-facing in my, my husband’s, and my parent’s vehicles. It is IMPOSSIBLE to tighten the straps in all three of them. If it were just one I’d give the benefit of the doubt, but apparently it’s just a huge design flaw. It also makes my son’s head lean forward and looks extremely uncomfortable. I’d like to throw all of them in the dumpster, but I can’t afford three brand new seats to replace them. Would NOT recommend.

Unlike the more expensive Graco car seats, you can’t remove these straps to wash. It is more complicated than the 4EVERDLX to put back together. I wouldn’t recommend this.

II have bought this car seat a little over a year ago and thought maybe when my baby went into forward facing, it would be better, but I was wrong. Trying to get the straps that hold in my baby to tighten up is an absolute nightmare. After putting all my strength into it, I still feel like it isn't as tight as it should be. This is really disappointing and disheartening because now I have to go out and spend even more money to purchase another car seat that I can actually tighten the straps on.

I bought this carseat in September '22 to replace an Extend2Fit that was involved in a car accident. I've regretted that purchase nearly every day since. Installation was difficult, though I was able to tighten appropriately once I found a YouTube video. The straps are constantly tangling requiring me to waste time fixing them, the center buckle seems positioned oddly and sometimes pinches my toddler. The straps never seem even. I hate hate hate this carseat. I'd replace it in a second if my budget allowed. I've loved other Graco products including carseats. This is just a dud.

This car seat is extremely hard to get tighten. I never feel like I can get the strap tighten enough.

I bought this seat 5 days ago when my daughter got sick in her 3in 1 Slimfit car seat. The store was sold out of that specific one and I love it, so I thought, what could go wrong with the Triride? Everything could be and would be wrong. This seat is horrible to get a good fit and the latch system is so hard to put on the brackets. The seat itself looks so uncomfortable. It is nearly impossible to get my daughter (who loves car rides) into the seat. SThe crotch buckle is on the furthest slit out and I can barely click the belts in as I am almost pinching my daughters legs. I can't wait to take this back and hopefully get a refund.

Good and affordable but only draw back is that it does not have the quick disconnects for seas latches.

The only reason i didnt give it a 5 star is that it has more of a C shape in the seat so because the kids get acid reflex easy they would vomit in it on like a 30min ride . Not for acid reflux babies

This car seat is hard to loosen the chest straps. You have to put your finger in a hole at the front of the car seat and press down and pull the straps that go over the shoulders to loosen the when buckling in the child. It is a pain to put your finger in that hole every time and not be able to quickly fine the button, very frustrating. Other than that good car seat. The tightening strap is super easy and quick to use.

We were using the Graco modes infant carry but my daughter was too big too fit, we then came across this. I like how it is all black (plus for me) and its easy to safely secure the seat. I love the adjustments. I trust in Graco's products, they have served me well Hey! I even grew up on some.

It was time to upgrade from an infant carseat to a toodler. So this was the perfect model to purchase and my 3 year old loves it.

Was in car accident, with the baby in the car. I was injured. Went through nearly 6 months of therapy, but my daughter was completely fine. I love how safe she was. So when the insurance said I had to replace the car sit, I gladly picked up a new Graco.

I bought this item for my 1 year old daughter. I drive a Tahoe and it fits so nicely along with my other children’s booster seats! I would recommend purchasing this car seat if you don’t like things to over crowded.

I love the Graco tri-ride car seat! I bought 2, actually, as my kids are only 17 months apart. They are waaaayyyyy more comfortable than a top competitor (which we’ve always been hardcore fans of for safety reasons), but now the tri-ride has a steal frame too!!!!!! And it’s practically a third of the price of at his competitor! As a mother who has personally been hit in car accidents three separate times by 3 separate drunk drivers, and have had to live the last 27 years of my life in and out of spinal surgery (I’ve had 11 of them to date) & in constant chronic pain, safety in a car seat is number one on my list! When my son was born in 2014, there was only one company that made a car seat with a steel frame, so we’ve always stuck with them until recently. And Graco has CUP HOLDERS!!!! Anyway, the tri-ride is literally the last car seat we will ever own because it will keep the kids in a 5-point forward facing until they are 65 pounds, with a seat belt either as a full seat or converted to a full booster until they are 100 pounds. And we were able to purchase 2 Tri-rides for less than the price of one of that competitor! Highly recommend!

Do not buy. Wish I did more research before purchasing. Straps do not tighten enough, regardless of how hard you pull. Completely unsafe.

Absolutely horrible . My one year is now in this car seat and the straps won’t tighten at all. Tried everything. Such a huge safety risk. I do not recommend this car seat. I actually am fearful of driving with him in this.

I do not recommend this car seat. The functionality is poor/extremely difficulty as it relates to tightening harness straps with button, the too easy chest clip release button, and poor lap belt placement. Only used the car seat maybe 3 times and knew it wasn't for us.

Bought this car seat in 2022 and have had issues from the start. It is very difficult to install in comparison to other Graco car seats (we own 2 4ever car seats and 1 slimfit). Additionally, the straps do not tighten when the car seat is forward facing. We are seeing that now as we recently switched my son to forward facing. The back is exposed (where it’s covered on other car seats) and the straps get stuck against the seat while the child is sitting in it. The straps do not tighten enough for me to feel that my son is safe.

I’m throwing it away!! My husband and I have both tried tightening the car seat rear facing and still can’t get it tight! It rattles whenever the baby isn’t in it and drives me crazy.

Do not buy this garbage, the older seats had a way to remove the straps to clean them when your kid pukes on them. There is no way to remove the straps. I didnt notice this at first and now I am past any sort of return window. I think they are encouraging people to hose these off in the yard like a savage, or submerse them in a bathtub. Both of which are horrible options and would damage the metal parts. The only other way to clean them would be with carpet cleaner attachments. I'm sure those chemicals are much better for the material than dish soap in a sink. I have decided to destroy the seat as I feel it puts my kids at risk to use.

This is the 7th Graco carseat I have purchased and it is the worst carseat I"ve ever had. We can not even use it because no matter what we try this carseat will not tighten in the car. I have tried contacting Graco and they have been no help, so we are stuck with this carseat that will not tighten. I should have listened when I read other reviews on this carseat being a problem.

I wanted to love this car seat but unfortunately I do not =/...it's only ok and not sure I have enough time to return it before our vacation. It's something about the way our daughter fits in it. Its like theres not enough padding by the shoulders once to start to extend it so it causes her head to lean (turtle) forward...she doesnt act uncomfortable it looks like it would be for long travels..thinK im going to add some padding the back for time being

User Manual instructions are terrible. Use manual refers to installation video on Graco site, but NO video can be found.

Overall the construction of the actual car seat looks great but I cannot install it by myself I’ve actually climbed up in it sat in it to try and tighten the straps for the anchor hooks trying to install it rear facing. It is definitely at least a two person job I actually was doing it with three people to try and get it as tight as possible I cannot do it by myself the car seat just moves all over the place

I got this seat to replace the older extend2fit and I wish I never did that!! I’m using it forward facing and can’t get it tight enough, I have tried everything! The base of the carseat also slips forward when I'm checking the tightness of the instillation, which it shouldn’t do that! It seems to me that the forward facing belt path it to high up on the seat causing the latch belt or seat belt to tighten just the upper back of the seat and not the base. I’m going to have to spend even more money now to get something else after having this for just 6 days!! ugh!

I’m so disappointed in this seat. We just switched our child to forward facing and it’s impossible to get the harness straps tight due to poor design. I just got done reading reviews and it looks like this is a common problem. How is this design even safe? What a waste of money. Don’t buy!

I came on the Graco site to look into some specific measurements on when I could move my kiddo to forward facing as he will be 2 in a few weeks. A lot of people are giving poor scores for silly reasons in my opinion so I wanted to simply stop by & give the triride a 5/5 star review. I moved my son into this car seat as soon as he was able to sit up in a cart by himself so probably around 7 or 8 months old. As I said he will be 2 in a few weeks so he has been in this seat for a long while now. We have never had any issues with this seat in any way. I have had to move the seat from one car to another, no issues, the belts are a bit stiff to tighten but it is absolutely nothing to take a star off for considering you absolutely can tighten them appropriately just need a lil more elbow grease. I have one, my husband has one, & I even bought one for my parents to have because of how much we loved the seat & the years of use we will have with it. My son is extremely comfortable in the seat, falls asleep with ease all the time (we often travel 50mins to & from family) & he has never had a single issue or problem. I usually will give him his water bottle & he drinks with no issues or problems either. Nothing but good things to say here!!!

Just bought this car seat to put in my husband’s truck and it’s so easy to install! I took it apart and washed it first and taking it off and putting it back together was simple. Compared to my extend a fit, this one is about the same for installing, it just doesn’t have to clips. Still pulling it to tighten isn’t hard. And taking it apart and putting it back together isn’t as easy as the extend a fit but it isn’t bad! I would say to save some money and just get this one if you’re comparing it to the extend a fit!

I’m having to make a second purchase of these car seats because the kids(3 and 5yrs) and I survived a rollover car accident recently. We all walked away with minimal physical injuries - just bumps, bruises and a burn from the side airbag. Thank you Graco for the quality you put into your products.

I bought this for my granddaughter when she was 19 months, I love how easy to install it is, easy to remove padding to wash , and fits perfectly in the middle seat of my small jeep.

This car seat is fantastic! It fits perfectly in my car, and is shockingly easy to move to my partner's car for my husband. But there's one question I don't see an answer to, and it's important because you want the answer before the questioned situation happens to you: Will I need to replace this whole thing once my child vomits in it? The answer is NO! My child (18 months) threw up three times in this car seat in the same day, and we were able to pull off EVERY pad and get it into the heavy duty cycle in 15 minutes! it was very intuitive pulling the pads off and putting them back on afterwards by memory. Furthermore, with all pads removed, cleaning the seat is easy. I found myself cleaning out DRY Goldfish and Cheerios from the frame after my daughter yakked in this thing, which speaks volumes for the durability of the padding design. This car seat is amazing for many other reasons, but the ease of clean up put it at the top of my list.

We bought this 2 months ago, thought it looked nice. A little bit of a pain to install, and to get the straps tight on her, but felt confident once our 1 year old was in. No major issues... EXCEPT. She threw up in the car seat. And it went down her lap and into the straps and under the seat cover. The cover is removable (takes some work, but not bad after the first time) and washable. But for some ridiculous reason there are a bunch of tiny holes and unreachable slots that the threw up got into. It dripped down unto the non-removable base, which also has holes in it for some reason, so then the throw up also dripped down onto our vehicle seat. The throw up got into the metal tracks, so when we tried to change the angle of the seat/had to move the headrest to get the cover off, the throw up got stuck in the tracks. Rinsing it off in the shower makes the seat and the straps not safe, but these parts were unreachable for cleaning, even with multiple hours qtips, toothpicks, and air spray, so you are just stuck with a seat that smells like vomit, forever. I have already discussed it with Graco and was taken care of otherwise, but still wanted to warn others, and would still suggest picking a different seat. It was a good seat other than that, but the cleaning was a nightmare.

I got a graco carseat as a baby shower gift before my son was born and when he was born, we brought him home in that carseat. I loved that carseat so when it was time to upgrade to a new carseat, me and my husband decided to get a 3 in 1 graco carseat and love this new one!

I have purchased 2 of these already. They are durable and adjust as your child grows. Our children are 5 and 3 and still using the original car seats we bought for them. They are easy to clean, and easy to use. Such a great product!

This car seat is comfortable for my daughter and I love how it transitions as they grow! We have had this seat for over a year now and have gone from rear facing to forward facing. It is easy to install, but still feels secure and safe! My one complaint is that as time goes on, the straps tend to get uneven and I have to work to adjust them to be even so my daughter is strapped in accordingly. The material is easy to take off to clean when necessary.

I got a great deal on this carseat during the Black Friday sale as a backup for my mom's car and she loves it. It's a good middle of the line carseat for those who want pretty decent safety specs without going into the expensive side of the market. It's not the best by any means, but anyone buying in this price point wouldn't expect it to be. My advice is if yoy can splurge for the 4ever then absolutely do it, but if you can't this is a great and afdordable option.

Beautiful and safe care seat. My son who is 15 lbs and is 6 months old loves this car seat. He alwsys falls asleep in it and when he is aeake we use the upright position and he loves it. Its very safe and comfy.

We bought this as a back up, thankfully we’ve not had to use it much. As another reviewer stated, it makes the child’s head push forward, appearing very uncomfortable. I wish I had taken those comments more seriously prior to purchasing. We also have the 4 Ever DLX, as well as several infant seats and other car seats, strollers, swings, etc and I’ve never disliked a Graco product as much as this one.

This car seat is horrible. My daughter has a hard time sitting in it due to the C shape seat. She’s very uncomfortable and even strained her neck while sleeping. I don’t recommend this car seat at all!

This car seat is fine, but if it’s going to be your primary car seat for years to come, there are a few things that make this model undesirable. First, and most annoyingly, is the strap release that you need to use to loosen the straps to get your child out is buried very deep within the seat and is very difficult to reach, especially when in the rear facing configuration. It bothers me every time I take my son out of the seat. Secondly, the level on the side of the seat to let you know the seat is installed correctly is a metal ball, as opposed to a bubble like some of the other Graco models. That means that as you’re driving, that ball is constantly moving back and forth, which sounds like something is constantly rattling in the back seat. It doesn’t bother my son, but when I’m in the car without my son, I hear it constantly and it’s very bothersome. I love Graco car seats, but definitely recommend getting a better model if you can afford it.

Car seat isn’t ideal when using as a rear facing seat.

This car seat is by far the worst design I have purchased. My son can’t sit comfortably in this seat. They way it’s designed it horrible for any child to sit in due to the back position causing your child to slouch down. It’s very unsafe and my son gets upset riding in it. We have had no other problems like this with our other car seats. We will be returning this car seat. I do not recommend.

This car seat is a pain in the butt if you are going to move it from vehicle to vehicle using the seatbelt installation option. For what ever reason the padding and car seat fabric have multiple layers where the seat belt needs to go so it is extremely frustrating trying to get the seatbelt through it, or to take the seat belt out. For whatever reason they decided to make the holes where the seat belt goes vertical, so you have to turn the seat belt vertical and then lay it flat to go across the base and then turn it again to get it through the hole on the other side. Also the leveling ball is only on one side of the car seat so you have to go around the car and to the other side to see if the car seat is installed properly at the correct recline. This car seat also does not have quick release latches. I bought this car seat because I already had a graco slim in my car (and I loved that one- I just didn’t want to spend that same amount of money again) and we needed an extra car seat to go between my husbands trucks( mind you his trucks don’t have car seat anchors) and I thought this would be good option, however I absolutely hate it. Also the headrest part of the seat does jut forward and pushed my babies head more forward- even with the infant insert removed so I have to keep her reclined more to keep her head flat. I have never been so disappointed in a Graco car seat, I would never buy this car seat again.

I am overall happy with this carseat for the price. I do not love that you need to have a towel rolled up under it in order for it to function properly. I also find that the straps get twisted up easily. These are not huge problems considering the price point, but I'm not sure that I would purchase it again.

Car seat is very secure and slim so you can still use the middle seat in your backseat. Installation was very easy.

I bought this to transition my 2 year old to forward facing. His chin is to his chest. It looks so uncomfortable. I've tried all the recline settings just to see if it was that one position is was in but no. I don't feel he's safe with his chin to chest to that. His current seat doesn't do that. I can't afford to just get another car seat so I guess I'm stuck with this one. Haven't used it. Guess I'll keep him in his rear facing infant seat.

I am happy with my purchase. The car seat is very sturdy and secure. It holds my baby tight and has enough cushion to protect if something were to happen. The padding is comfortable and my baby enjoys riding in it.

It doesn’t have enough cushions for when child falls asleep

I got in an accident last night with my almost 3 year old son in this seat. I was going 57 and fishtailed 3 times as went into a embankment on Emerson's side.The tire, quarter panel, and bumper were ripped off and the bumper bar that is welded onto the frame bent. My son aside from being scared, was literally unscathed and back to being his happy loving self in minutes. The car seat had no breaks, bends, or damage that I saw. When discarding the seat it even held together after being thrown 10 feet into the landfill container. I'm not sure if I got lucky because the accident wasn't that bad, or if every single car seat out there would have performed the same in this scenario. I do know I just installed another Graco TriRide for him, and will be endorsing these seats whenever applicable. Thank you for making a quality car seat that worked for my family

Second seat for my grandchild doesn't seem as comfortable as our prior graco to release straps you need to put your finger in the hole but it's slammed up against the back of your seat to press without huge hand contortion...

This seat has been a great upgrade for my daughter, she seems to enjoy car rides a lot more these days. My only con is that the strap cover seems to get be a hassle when tightening.

This car seat is so easy to use and it is large enough to protect my three year old granddaughter for a few years to come. It also works as a booster seat although I haven't tried that yet. She is very comfortable and safe.

Fits great in our vehicle, and my toddler seems comfortable in it. However, since it’s still rear facing, the belt loosening button is extremely hard to access when it comes time to get the kiddo out of the car seat.

We’ve loved all of our Graco car seats, from infant to toddler. We have this model for all of our toddlers currently and have no complaints. The price point is great and our toddlers are comfortable.

Safety issue!! The straps that have clips that clip into the bars in the backseat, the strap tears in half. Not able to get a replacement strap because it would not be safe to replace. Yes, the carseat was taken out incorrectly, it was taken out by 2 adult women on a girls night out. The strap tore in half, which you can see where it frayed. Had I gotten into a car accident, there is a very good chance that strap would have tore. We have 3 of these carseats, which now we also use the seatbelt to secure, we have 4 other different Graco carseats, lots of new littles. Just disappointed. I do not want anything, it was my fault for not taking it out, but I think it should be listed as a potential hazard and the seatbelt should be used as well. It does not make sense to me the steps and hooks are even necessary? When I called, I was told the car seat was 100% still safe with just using the seatbelt.

I like it my baby car seat so much, how my baby girl fit on it, but I am so disappointed discovering the styrofoam in the head rest is cracked when taking to covers to clean it, this car seat has been in my the car I use to go to work that she probably use it a less than a handful of times in the last year, and was ready to move it to the family car so my 1 yr old baby can use it now. More disappointed to see pictures of another user with the same problems and Graco not selling a better quality replacement part so the users don’t lost the investment.

I’ve bought this seat 3 times and 2 of the 3 have had the foam headrest crack, only lord knows when and for how long my babies have been driving around in an unsafe seat. The foam piece is ridiculously cheap. The only reason I repurchased after the first one broke was because they refused to replace and only gave me a discount to use on another product so thinking it was a fluke I purchased it again. Shame on this company for selling dangerous products!

I got this car seat in September 2025. It is a great car seat in general but the straps are SO HARD to tighten. I have to actually pull the straps from behind the seat while he is buckled in so I can make sure he is actually secured. It is easy to install and he does seem very comfortable in it. I truly wish I could give this a 5 star but unfortunately for the straps, I cannot.

My 1 year old loves it hes on the chubbier side and fits great im it not squished, has lots of room from side to side.

I’m rating this as a 1 because Graco seriously couldn’t pay the few extra cents I’m sure it would’ve cost them to use the ball level indicator on this seat? Instead it’s just a red line that says to “level with the ground”. When it comes to safely installing a car seat this is extremely disappointing. If you’re set on a Graco car seat, opt for the tri ride that’s the same price. Highly disappointing that I’m playing the guessing game when it comes to my child’s safety.

I bought this 3 weeks ago from Target and unfortunately will not be able to return it, though I wish I could. The straps do not tighten enough at all no matter what, and my mom who does daycare and has to take carseat classes agrees it is not safe as I can still fit my fingers underneath after already struggling to tighten for 2+ minutes. My oldest has the triride 3 in 1, and I 100% wish we would’ve gotten that one again over this one as we’ve had no issues with the straps, and it seems there is much more room to grow into it.

I am a Nana who needed a second car seat for my small three year old. I have enjoyed a Graco Car seat for her sister who is five, so I was familiar with the product design. This car seat turned out fine but it was hard for me to get it in place at first because I needed it in the back facing position. I have a 2011 Subaru Outback which is relatively older but the seat didn’t seem to fit securely enough. My son in law was able to get it into position better than I did. But it’s now in place and seems fine.

It's a good seat. It's a little hard to get a toddler in and out of it but, once in, it seems like it's comfortable.

I am a little disappointed in this seat it has the old style straps & cheaply made cup holders, & it’s not easily one to swap between front & rear facing without having to nearly take it apart. I am a grandma & wanted to be able to use for 3 of my grands who are all different ages/ sizes but all needing to be in a seat still. This one makes it hard to swap between them.

Love that it's a slimmer car seat and it accommodates height and weight as the child grows. It appears comfortable for my grandchildren.

Easy to install but my 3 year old twins can unbuckle the chest clip and don't want to stay in their buckle.

We’ve had this car seat since my daughter was a newborn, she’s 3 now! So easy to install and adjust to all stages of growth. We’ve taking road trips and she falls sleeping in it often so I’d say the comfort is really nice! 😊

LOUD this seat is very loud while driving both with my child in and with without. I’m so made I threw away the box or I’d be returning it. Even my kid said it was loud.

Bought a couple of years ago. No accidents but the foam piece up top starts to crack. On one seat completely broken on the other hair line cracks forming so it is about to break as well. They can’t replace that piece and will make you buy a new car seat. I’ll buy another car seat but never again will I buy Graco. There is no reason my foam pieces should have the cracks or break. I only take my car seat in and out of car and no accidents. CHEAP quality so cheap they don’t stand behind the seat for more than a year. I feel very ripped off

The leveler ball rattles so bad it is driving us crazy. Will be returning.

Car seat is okay, except the strap release is SO difficult to find as you have to either press on the fabric or try to reach underneath it. I am not sure why there isn't a specific tab or button to press. The rest of the car seat is good, but you you have to adjust the straps every time so it's a pretty inconvenient feature.

Any other Graco is nicer than this. It is so difficult to install with the cheap little anchor clips, and impossible to get tight, you have to climb in the car and try from many angles. We could not find any place to run the seatbelt for rear facing, the anchors were our only option. Very lightweight and cheap feeling. We have had other Graco seats and they have all had much better features (little red buttons to clip to the anchors), not sure where I misread but this seat is a nightmare if you ever need to switch vehicles.

Not user friendly. The anchors are the old style and challenging to remove. The button to loosen the front straps is very difficult to press in forward and rear facing situations. I’m going to return.

18 month old looks like she’s in a “c” shape with her head out forwards. Removing the cushion is better but she screams in this car seat vs the previous car seat. Is there a setting I’m missing??

You cannot even remove the car seat, the instructions are not clear, and don’t even get me started on their “installation” video at YouTube. Comments are turned off because that angle is only shown enough to see the girl’s face. Horrible product. Horrible marketing. Horrible help.

The manual that came with my car seat doesn’t have one word of English in it!!

Overall we really like this seat, but I’m not 100% satisfied with the head rest. If you don’t angle the seat back enough then your child’s head is slightly pushed forward. He can tell and so can we.

I normally like graco products but was very disappointed in this car seat and customer service in regards to this product. This car seat pushes your child’s head forward where to me is an unsafe position especially if your child falls asleep in the car seat. We have this car seat in my husbands vehicle and a britax in my vehicle and the body position is clearly different. I would not recommend this.

Adjustable straps not what I expected. The adjust with the movement of the head rest.

Love the item but it was delivered directly in the rain instead of on our front porch. The seat was soaked with a bad smell that took awhile to get out :(

Just bought the product and haven't even assembled it yet. I can't get past the fact that it comes assembled in position 3, versus position 1. So I am now dissembling it, to only put it back in the position down the road. Baffled.

I actually got two of these a couple months ago during Target's carseat trade in. They ended up being 95 dollars a piece! The safety features matched that of the higher end carseats & that's what really mattered. I noticed the padding wasn't as nice as my Graco milestone & the straps are a little more difficult to tighten. For that I took off a star. But, really even at regular price, you can't go wrong with this seat. It's great for a range of sizes too.. My boys seem to be happy in their Tri-rides! For reference one is 31 inches & 25 lbs, the other is 39 inches and 37 lbs.
