General discussion on QUOKKA brand quality and use for dementia
QUOKKA puzzles are great for dementia patients, especially for those who enjoy puzzles but struggle with smaller pieces. I've used them for my mom and they made a difference. They’re not Ravensburger quality, but they worked well for her. The thickness is decent but not super thick. I'd compare them to Ceaco maybe a bit thinner.

Detailed quality concerns with QUOKKA puzzles
I have the I AM series and it's definitely not thick. Pieces are thin and quite flimsy. The fit is loose; sections don't hold together well. I was expecting something more substantial for the price. Madd Capp pieces are way thicker. Not sure I'll buy again.

Comparison of QUOKKA piece feel to other brands
Pieces felt similar to the Magic Puzzle Company ones—smooth and matte. But I've only done one quokka puzzle. Not sure if they compare to anything else. It was a fun build though, the colors were vibrant.
