Baby Jogger Infant Car Seat Adapter for City Select 2 - Compatible with Britax Infant Car Seats (Black)

The Chicco keyfit 30 doesn’t click tightly into place. It wobbles and seems unsafe. Baby jogger said it was a manufacturer defect and would fix the problem but my friend said hers does the same thing so not sure if the “wobbling” will truly be resolved.

The item was delivered with one of the side pieces completely bent in half. I contacted customer service over a week ago and haven’t heard back. I’m hoping we can get a replacement in time before baby comes. Really disappointed for how much we have paid for stroller and accessories

I bought this AND the city select double stroller with the intention of strolling my newborn and two year old at the same time; it was not disclosed ANYWHERE that you are not able to use both the Chicco Keyfit seat and adapter at the same time as the regular seat to turn the baby jogger city select into a double stroller. Extremely disappointing and a complete waste.

This adapter is such a let down! It is advertised to work with my baby jogger city select and it is several inches too wide. I am so disappointed. Now I can’t use my stroller for multiple children which is why I purchased it to begin with.

I bought this before i read all the bad reviews. I agree with all the comments. This works horribly with the chico keyfit30 car seat. Wish we had looked up reviews before. We bought the stroller and car seat based on they would work together.

We purchased the city select double for our new born and 2.5 year old. We spent nearly $850 for the stroller, car seat and platform and thought we could add Our Chico keyfit 30 car seat. The adapter is several inches too wide (even though it states on the box that it is compatible) so no chance of it actually working. Very disappointed, will be returning everything and buying Phil and Teds sport which got much better reviews.

Really upset that this does NOT work with the KeyFit 30 car seat as stated! Don’t waste your money..

I purchased this product at Buy Buy Baby, sales associated assured would work with Key Fit 2, though the package states it only works with Key Fit 30. The frame is too wide to allow for the clips to snap into place on the bracket. Extremely dissatisfied. Stroller is great, bracket is terrible.

This adapter claims to fit the Chicco Keyfit 30, however, it doesn't actually work in a safe manner with the seat. While the seat technically "fits" into the support bars and will "click" into it, making you think that the seat is secure, the clip that is supposed to hold the seat in place does not actually line up properly with the retractable seat attachment, meaning that you can wiggle the seat out with not very much effort. This gives you the illusion of a snug connection, but is actually very unsafe and unstable. I can't believe they are selling this product claiming compatibility with the Chicco Keyfit 30...it's like no one at baby jogger ever actually tested it. Very disappointed, because we like the stroller a lot, but now that our baby is here we can't actually use it.

We bought this hoping it would make life easier but it actually doesn't snap into our lux stroller unless the L and R are switched around... unfortunately that doesn't help since the whole unit won't work correctly then!! If it snapped in the stroller like it's supposed to I think this would be a great product. Love our stroller just wish this car seat adapter worked!

Purchased this for my Chicco Keyfit 30 and it does not click in to the adapter as stated. Not safe for car seat as there is nothing holding it in place, so I am not sure why it’s advertised for the Chicco keyfit 30. No a cheap item. I need to find a solution to attaching my car seat to the stroller otherwise I’ll need to return stroller.

Really bummed that this doesn't fit with the Chicco keyfit30 even though it clearly states on the box that it does. I owned a City Mini Jogger stroller and needed a car seat for my newborn. I bought the Keyfit30 based on this adapter so that I could use the 2 together... but it doesn't fit and now I'm stuck with a car seat that doesn't fit my stroller.

Our ketfit30 does not click in to this adapter. We ordered two adapters and neither worked. Very disappointed in this product. We needed a reliable double stroller for our toddler and infant and we can't use the stroller for both babies because the adapter doesn't work.

This adaptor does not fit the keyfit 30. It doesn't click into the adaptor making it sit too low. So if you are using it with another seat you have to put it in the setting farther from you. Overall very disappointed.

Because of how this attaches the key fit 30, sitting lower than other car seat brands would clip in, you can only have the car seat FF on the bottom with the city select seat FF on top. Putting your infant far away and facing the wrong direction.

My sister gave me her City Select Lux stroller and I was very happy to see that there was an option to buy an adapter for my Chicco keyfit car seat. The adapter was easy to install and car seat snaps on and comes off easily as well. Definitely worth the purchase!

This adapter works perfect for our Chicco Keyfit 35. Don't listen to the bad reviews…most say the adapter doesn’t work, but they weren’t installing it correctly! The instructions included must have been updated, because we followed them and it works fine! FYI- you do not use the C bar with Chicco seats.

Perfect for my Chicco KeyFit 35. This model didn’t state it was meant for the KeyFit 35, so went with it and it’s perfect! I bought the City Select new back in 2014 expecting me 2nd. I had three kids in a row, and this stroller was amazing. I never got rid of the frame thankfully and now am expecting twins! Love all the accessories and adapters!

I bought this so I could easily snap my infant car seat into the stroller. Baby jogger had a chart to easily figure out which adapter I needed for the car seat I have. Installation was very simple as well. We’re having twins and had both adapter installed within 10 minutes. The adapter makes it so easy to just click the infant car seats in and out.

Purchased to use for my newborn to allow my stroller to be a double stroller. Works perfect but $59 is to much for just a car seat adapter!

I had similar confusion has many of the previous reviewers, but in my case, trying to fit the peg perego 4-30 in because the figure on the website shows how to work the Chico seats and does depict the way the peg clicks in. But the instruction was pretty straight forward and once all the stuff are lined up the infant seats clicks in easily.

I recently purchased the double city select lux stroller and needed a car seat adapter for the chicco keyfit 30. Like many of you, I was beyond frustrated because it WOULD NOT click in place. Well as silly as this is, the instructions were very misleading and little did I know I was putting the bars in the wrong place. All I did was switch bars A and B around and voila! The car seat snapped in perfectly!!! (do not use bar C if you are using a chicco car seat) Hope this helps!!

I have a Chicco Fit2 and the adaptor works for me. I think most of the 1-Star reviewers did not read the directions as it goes together differently for Perego v Chicco car seats. I just wish I fit in WITH the stroller seat to make a travel system. Sometimes I use the stroller seat and sometimes I use the car seat. Pain to need the adapter plus the seat, with one of them disconnected.

I don’t know why the manufacturer has neglected to share this with a response to all of the 1-Star reviews, but there is a simple solution to the fit problem. Don’t use bar “C”. It’s there for other car seats. You ha e to scroll through all of the various seat instructions to get this info. I hope this helps you all. I was ready to return everything until I slowed down & found this info. A little more customer oriented approach to problem solving would have helped these guys avoid what seems like a fair number of angry customers. So 5 stars for the functionality & 1 Star for the myopic customer service. Weighted average of 3 stars b/c there are no other 3 star reviews & I’m hoping more people will read this.

Works perfectly for my Chicco Keyfit 30, and I can fold my stroller with the adapter on. Now I am looking to get another adapter, as I have twins on the way.

I've used this adapter for both of my children without issue. I'm using a city mini with a keyfit 30. The adapter is easy to install on my city mini & also easily removed when I need the stroller for my toddler. My stroller still folds easily with this attached.

I got this to fit our Chicco Keyfit 30. Works great. My only complaint is that you cannot keep it on while both the adapter and a seat are on the City Select. I would usually just keep the adapter on it and take the seat on and off

I went with the baby jogger city select stroller as I was told that with this car seat adapter I can click in my already purchased Peg Perego Primo Viaggio car seat; however, once I purchased the adapter (second-hand so i can’t even get my money back) my car seat does not fit on it! I even went to 2 stores to have the personnel help guide me through how to use the product, and not even they could get the car seat to securely fit onto the adapter. I am very disappointed that despite buying a system stroller I still always had to wake up my baby when transferring from the car seat to the stroller...

I bought this for my newborn and refuse to use it because it does not lock the car seat in. I am unsure why anyone would design something like this for a stroller. parents want their children to be secured.

My husband and I love the stroller. We spent hours testing them in store. When it came time to purchase the stroller we picked the city mini gt and our car seat is the Chicco Keyfit 30 but has the good airflow for baby. We recently put our stroller and attachments together and our car seat won't snap into the mounting bracket like it did at the store. We are super bummed about it because we love this stroller.

We purchased the city mini gt and this adapter for our Chicco Keyfit 30. When we assembled everything we realized you can't use the strollers sunshade with the adapter! That awesome sunshade! Such a waste!!! Also, the stroller does not fully close and lock into place when the adapter is in. Such a great stroller but we are so bummed and will most likely need to return.

No online instructions, go ahead and try to find them for the hardware that is pictured, they don't exist. Instructions in packet were for the wrong model, and these for whatever reason don't exist on the website, very frustrated.

I bought this in February to use with my infant car seat once the baby arrived in April. Now it is May, my baby is here, and the adapter will NOT work with the City Select and my infant car seat model. I checked with Baby Jogger directly before making my purchase.

Believe the reviews on here when ppl say that this is not compatible with the city mini 2 stroller. We bought as this was recommended to us by a friend but they clearly have redesigned the fabric around the adapters because you can’t click the adapters into place safely. Extremely upset that I purchased this stroller to only have it not function for my newborn.

It is very hard to attach and remove adapter. We traveled and I needed to take it off and sometimes don’t wish to use it and it takes me a while to get it off and back on.

We bought this stroller. And after following all of the instructions. Can still not get the car seat to fit onto the stroller. Even though the instructions say they are compatible. Extremely disappointed.

Bought for the Maxi Cosi Mico. Does not seem to fit as advertised. Car seat does not click in place to lock. Very poor instructions provided. It seems that the other mount intended for the Maxi Cosi has been discontinued? Very upset with this experience.

So bought this after enjoying the stroller for a prior baby. However the adapter is about 1 inch to shallow to allow the car seat to click on even when the adapter isn’t on the stroller of City Mini jogger. Then when the adapter is on you have to take the sun shade off which leaves the baby majorly exposed to sunlight. Then on top of that there are two parts of the stroller that prevent the car seat from being installed on the car correctly even if it did click in. Horrible choice and will be buying a better stroller that’s safer for my baby because of this.

I just recently bought my mini select double stroller and am in love with it! It is so easy to use! Love the removable seats and all the different positions you can do! I lobe that you cab also use it with my infants car seat! It has made my life so much easier with 2 young children!

I received the car seat adapter to fit the Chico Keyfit 30 into our City Premier stroller. The instructions were easy to follow, but I had a little bit of a difficult time getting the pieces to slide in all the way. However, once I got them in I could easily tell how sturdy it was going to be before I even got the car seat in it. I love it and cannot wait to use it! I do wish it would fit over the top of the main seat so I wouldn't have to take it out and store it while we are using the car seat, but I knew that when I bought the stroller.

I bought this for my first baby and it was good i had no problems with it breaking or anything! Definetly recomend it

We had the car seat adapter since the birth of the first child 2.5 years ago. It worked great. When we had our second child, we thought the 2nd seat and car seat adapter would not work together but after a call to customer service, we found it worked perfectly. The trick was switching the L and R adapters to their opposite sides. Our family is now loving our strolls together!

After a long wait, was very happy that this new adapter was finally available. It works great with our City Select stroller. The Chicco KeyFit 30 snaps right into the adapter. Also, the fold of the stroller is not impacted much by the adapter - still a pretty slim fold. Pretty easy to assemble - just need to make sure you really use some force when pushing the pieces together. Very happy with the purchase.

BEWARE IF YOU HAVE A CHICCO KEY FIT CAR SEAT- if you’ve had an older model (I believe it’s 2019 and older) and upgrade and bought or had a Chicco adapter that was manufactured at an older date (e.g. 2019) it is defective. The adapter is NOT compatible with the new version of this stroller. This company knows this yet doesn’t do anything to resolve the issues. It’s deceptive marketing and there should be messages or communication stating this issue that they are aware of. Customer support is no help, in fact their solution is to stretch out and/or destroy the fabric of the stroller to try and make it work OR completely remove the stroller fabric in order for it to be usable.

The instructions for the Chicco seat are incorrect. In order for your Chicco seat to fit: -Do not use the C bar. -Swap the A and B bars' locations. The A bar needs to be installed where the instructions tell you the B bar goes, and vice-versa... Otherwise OK product. The incorrect instructions were nearly enough to turn us off though. Baby Jogger should get it together and update their instructions.

Easy to install, fits perfectly. Cannot close the stroller with this adapter plus the BabyJogger glider attachment which is incredibly annoying and knocks off several stars. Otherwise would give 5.

This works 100% with the Chicco Key Fit 30. Ignore any negative reviews as it would be a user install problem. I opened a box. Took out the easy to install instructions. I put it together in 2min and was off on our first stroll. A 100% must have. It worked with my City Lux stroller that we got secondhand.

It would seem that this adapter was not designed for the Chicco Keyfit30. Rather, it was designed for some other seat and the Chicco just barely works with it enough that, in an emergency, you might feel that the benefit to using it outweighs the possible danger to your newborn. The adapter is far too large for the seat in some respects, and too small in others. There’s approximately 4 inches of play between the seat and the two support bars if you rock the chair front to back. I am not confident that city sidewalks couldn’t jar the locking mechanisms on each side out of place. There are two support towers that I’m guessing are for a different seat but just get in the way of allowing the Keyfit to sit deeper in the adapter. Your instinct when wrestling with this adapter is that everything would be just fine if you could just push the seat down farther. But you can’t. The unnecessary towers for a different seat are standing in your way. The natural position of the seat in the adapter (without rocking it forward or backward) puts your baby in a somewhat upright position. Maybe not too bad for a two or three month old, but not suitable for a newborn. I’ve wrapped a blanket around the bar that supports the front of the car seat, which has created a snugger fit and has forced the seat into a more reclined position, however, my baby still looked like his head could too easily slump forward or to the side. We received our City Select second hand when we had our second child and were thrilled We didn’t have to drop a large amount of money on a srcond stroller. But until my youngest is old enough for the seat, I’m not sure we’ll be able to use this stroller. But again, maybe I’ll just McGuyver something (more than I already have) to save myself $800.

The attachment clicks in perfectly! Wished it was universal. But overall it worked well for our infant car seat!

We have the City Select Lux stroller and purchased the adapter for the Chico KeyFit 35. The bars need a little push to connect, but it does connect! Fits like a glove and easy to install.

I purchased this to use with my Chicco KeyFit 35 and it worked. Although it has not yet been tested by Baby Jogger, it is a secure fit.

While putting it together, I must have pushed too hard. But the aluminum frame bent and is now broken. Very disappointed in how low quality this was, especially for the very expensive price.

Somebody please tell me if this adapter works with a city go carseat and a city select lux stroller? Why is it so difficult to figure it out? I can't find anywhere that mentions the city go carseat.

This car seat adapter is not in any way ideal for the Chicco keyfit 30. It seems that because this adapter is meant for a variety of seats, it does a poor job for the Chicco. It allows for a huge amount of travel front to back. It also puts the car seat in a more upright position than you’d want a newborn in. I’ve rigged my adapter with a foam insulated noodle (2 layers) on the front support bar to increase the snuggles of the fit and to force the seat into a more reclined position.

I have 2 of those attachments my babies are 9 months now so we are using them for a while I’m glad those attachments exists but they definitely need some work. I have 2 Peg perego car seats one new one and on older model from my first baby. The older model sits perfectly in this attachment but The newer model always slides and I have to fix it every so often. Now that my babies are little older they always trying to take the strap that holds the car seat to their mouth I wish there was a way for the left over strap to be somehow attached or simply to be shorter.

I bought this to connect my city select lux with my chicco keyfit 30 car seat. As others have posted, it does not work. Extremely frustrated. We love our stroller, but we need to be able to use it with our car seat.

I bought the stroller second-hand with the adapter bar included, and just hoped that my Chicco Keyfit 30 would snap in satisfactorily. It is perfect! The seat clips on without difficulty. 4 stars because I cannot figure out how to fold the stroller effectively with the car seat adapter bar still intact.

Like others have said, I am unable to get this to work with my key fit 30 car seat. I'm hoping that there is just something I'm doing wrong but no luck yet!

We just bought this adapter and the key fit 2 car seat will not click in on both sides. I think my husband was able to force it down to click but no way could you do it with a baby inside car seat! We will most likely be returning this adapter.... hopefully not have to return Jogger too.
