The Chicco BravoFor2 is a double stroller with a front seat and a rear seat/standing platform, designed for families with a younger child and an older child (up to 40 lbs each). The front seat accepts Chicco infant car seats and features a 5-point harness, while the rear seat has a 3-point harness; the stroller folds compactly with one hand (18" x 23.3" x 35" folded) and weighs 34 lbs. Could be a lot better

Erin B

The single rider Bravo really ruined this stroller for me, I had much higher expectations. The cup holders on this stroller don’t even fit my kid’s child-sized water bottle. Anything bigger than a take out coffee cup is too big, for both the adult and kids’ cup holders. They’re also not deep enough, whereas the OG Bravo had deeper cup holders AND fit my Stanley cup, plus other small cups. That could be an easy fix. The canopy also does not stretch out like the OG Bravo. That is another simple fix. It hardly even blocks the sun. It could easily have been made bigger and made with a zipper to provide a wider range of sun cover. It also gets in the way of the child on the back of the stroller whether sitting or standing, and my 3 year old is in the 10th percentile for height. Being able to push it more forward would fix that. Storage on the bottom is hard to reach and has a very small opening. A diaper back pack does not fit through, despite the storage itself being big enough for this. Anything you can fit in there is basically gone because it’s so hard to reach and maneuver, although I guess that’s because of the second seat in the back. I just feel there could be a better solution. Admittedly I’m not creative enough to think of that. The front seat does not recline for naps in the stroller. Given the design of the stroller I understand why, however, I do think it could be designed better to accommodate this. We bought this stroller because it fit our car seat and we loved the OG Bravo so much, but have been very disappointed. I can’t wait to downsize back to the OG as our kids get older .

Great so far!

Taylor

I was hesitant bc of other reviews about this item, but I needed a stroller for my 3 year old and newborn. I have a keyfit car seat so this was perfect for it. I’ve used almost daily for about a month and I’ve had no issues.

Horrible for baby naps

Mo de

I did not know the baby seat in the front would not recline. Disappointed my baby is not able to lay flat for naps. For now, the stroller is useless to me. My baby cannot sleep sitting up.

Good double stroller

Monica

Easy to assemble and works great on the dirt/gravel stare land road we walk daily. It does pull to one side on the smoother parts so I’ll be curious to see how it works on pavement. I like how easy it is to open and close too

Does not turn well at all!!!

MomofOandG

We bought this and it has been HORRIBLE from the start it does not turn well or push well. I feel like an idiot in public with it

Front swivel doesn’t work

Momof3

Front wheel swivel feature busted within days of owning the stroller. Impossible to manuever and when I called in asking for help with the issue I was told there’s nothing they can do. No solutions offered whatsoever. Very disappointed and looks like it might be a common issue based on similar reviews I’m seeing online.

Our toddler loves this stroller, easy to take new baby and toddler around together! Easy to use, fold, lift etc

Diana

Great for two kids

Don’t buy!

Susie M.

My biggest complaint is the toddler seat in the front does not recline. The seat slightly pushes back but enough for the little one to be comfortable or nap. The visor doesn’t block shade & my stroller was delivered without a tray. I have the key fit car seat & I love it other than babies outgrow it fast. I have the jogging stroller & love that. I hate this stroller!

Not impressed with this stroller

MB1113

Considering the price tag, I had high expectations from this stroller. Looks nice however isn't very practical & not made of durable material. My children are 22 months apart & I needed a sit n stand stroller for solo outtings. The first week of use, tires started squeaking & realized it's not very hard to maneuver even on sidewalks. The front seat doesn't recline much making it difficult for toddler to nap on the go. The second bench seat is so uncomfortable. I wish I had researched throughly before purchasing this stroller. I don't recommend this stroller to others. It is easy to fold but isn't compact & it's certainly not a lightweight stroller.

Too heavy

Kaydian J.

The stroller is so heavy and difficult to maneuver. Tilting the stroller back a bit to get the wheels over the slightest bump in the sidewalk is incredibly difficult. Be sure to check the combined stroller and car seat weight before buying, and also factoring in the weight of your children. We bought it from a local retailer and couldn't return it because we threw away the box and used it. We regret buying it and now barely use it. It mostly just sits there. It's simply too heavy and bulky. I don't recommend this double stroller. We are now out a significant amount of money and stuck with a product we barely use. When we venture to use it, our toddler likes the sit/stand feature.

It fits perfectly in my

It fits perfectly in my car. My kids love it.

Bought for 1st baby

First time momma

I bought this stroller June 2019 for our first baby. It works well with the keyfit30 car seat. Now that he is bigger he can sit in front and I'm not a huge fan as it doesn't recline very much and he can't nap sitting forward facing well. Besides that my other complaint is that for $300 I was expecting the wheels and steering to work better. The stroller isn't aligned well and the wheels squeaked right away. I also have to push more on one side than the other as the stroller will try to always steer right. I had bigger hopes for this stroller and I hope it makes it to baby #2. We've been very gentle with it and taken great care of it but it's just a bunch of plastic.

It was great at first...

Lalanie24

I was truly my in love with the idea if this stroller. I looks amazing, and fit the most part it is amazing... but when you pay basically $300 you expect better. Ive only had this stroller since mid February and I’m already having issues with mine. 1) Both rear wheels squeak very annoyingly now like they’ve had years of wear, I’ve never dealt with an issue like this so soon (I can try messing with some bolts to see if it helps). 2) The cup holders are rediculous. They aren’t deep enough, so my water bottles always fall out when I turn a corner. 3) I’ve had some issues with the closing mechanism within the last week and have had 3 separate times where it would not close until several attempts of retrying. 4) the back seat is very uncomfortable. It is very small and reminds me of a shelf. Also, the back seat should’ve had a cushion. I can definitely see why they made the newer LE model. Besides those issues, it is still a great stroller. My children are safe and enjoy being in it for the most part. I am only complaining because it is not worth $299 whatsoever, not with this many imperfections. Chicco really needs to knock the price down to $199. The stroller itself at a lower price, I would recommend. This stroller at the current price, sadly I do not.

Horrible

Ameme

After being die hard Chicco fans we bought this for our infant/toddler duo. While it's nice for our zipfit infant carrier to connect to, it's no good once baby outgrows it. The front seat of the stroller barely reclines making it impossible to tote around a sleeping baby. Also, the large canopy is horrible, HORRIBLE, to adjust. Everytime I open it up, the sides pop off ( which aren't all that easy to get back on). Definitely wish I wouldn't have purchased this, huge regret.

Compact and light

kd mom

This is only our second stroller we ever purchased and I am so glad we made the switch. Our first one was great for only one child, but now that we have 3 this stroller made it such a breeze for outings to museums, zoos and even walks to the park. The older two get to switch out from walking and riding while the youngest one gets the throne seat and great view. I love the parent tray already for drinks and stashing small items. No need to worry about pockets. The kids love the small spot they can stash their snacks or papers from our trips. The slim design and ease of maneuvering makes me one very happy costumer. Minor detail which seems hard to add without making it more cumbersome is a shade for back child.

Fantastic stroller!

AlesiaM

We received this stroller a couple weeks ago and so far I have been very happy with it! It has a lot of excellent features that I have felt were missing with other strollers I’ve used. I love that it includes a snap on tray with cup holders that my 1 year old can use for snacks and drinks when we’re out and about. The front seat can also fold down and a Chicco infant seat can snap into it. The stroller has ample storage room underneath that is easy to access and a great zip up pocket storage near the handle that is perfect for storing small snacks, my cell phone, and keys. My four year old especially loves that she has the option to sit or stand when riding. We used the stroller for a walk to the park near our home and while she preferred to sit most of the time, I could tell that she loved to be able to stand whenever she liked. The stroller also has a large snap on umbrella canopy that is able to cover both of my girls when the oldest is sitting. The initial set up of the stroller was a breeze and I love how easy it is to open and close, and how compact it is when it’s in the closed position. It is also fairly lightweight compared to our other double stroller making it much easier to get in and out of my vehicle. It maneuvers very well and is a smooth ride for my girls. The only complaint I would have is with the cup holders. I wish they were a bit deeper. When we would hit bumps I found myself having to hold onto my daughter’s sippy cups to keep them from falling out. For me though, this is a minor thing and really doesn’t impact my overall love of the stroller. I really wish I’d had something like this sooner. I know it will get a lot of use! This product was given to me by Chicco in exchange for my honest review.

Durable, easy to store. Amazing two-child solution

rickerstaff

This thing is amazing. Folds up easily. Fits just about anywhere (which isn't easy for a 2 person stroller). We've run this off of curbs, run into things (not on purpose) -- it never breaks! The only downsides to me are the clip-on sun shade doesn't collapse as well as the rest of the stroller -- it kind of stands up awkwardly while the rest stows away well. The front wheel also gets caught at an angle at times when you're starting a push. Not too bad though. Overall, a great stroller for two kids! We got when our kids were 1 and 3, and now they are 3 and 4 and we still use it! Here is a video of the unboxing: https://youtu.be/g_mBv0xA9CA

Impressive Stroller for Two!

BeckyB

I’ve had the BravoFor2 stroller for two weeks and am really happy with its performance. I’ve been pushing a 16 month old and a 3 year old (so I do not have feedback on use with an infant car seat). My 3 year old prefers to stand; he likes to see where we’re going. However, we do love to have the second seat as a back up option for when those 3 year old legs get tired. My only minor complaint is that the brakes are in line with the standing platform, so sometimes my son inadvertently steps on the brakes when standing or when seated with his feet on the platform (which is why I gave it 4 stars for design). I love how nimble the stroller is (much less bulky than other dual-rider strollers I’ve seen); it’s great for maneuvering through crowds and in and out of stores. Also, the ride is smooth and the stroller is easy to steer. The BravoFor2 lives up to its “one-hand close” promise. It’s super easy to close, and the closed position is really compact; it fits in my sedan trunk with room to spare. I also appreciate the free-standing feature when the stroller is folder; it gives me the ability to be hands-free before lifting it into my trunk. I love that the child’s tray/cup holder and parent’s cup holder/accessory pocket are included (with other strollers I’ve had to purchase these accessories separately). I also want to highlight is that the initial assembly is quick and easy; I went from opening the box to fully assembled in about 10 minutes. Overall I’m very happy and impressed with the BravoFor2 stroller and have confidence that it will grow with my kids. Chicco provided this product to me in exchange for my honest opinion.

Great for Toddler

Brett

With 3 young children, my wife and I have had a couple of different strollers over the years. When we went from 1 to 2, we bought a double stroller. Not only did our oldest child not enjoy sitting in the stroller, as he preferred walking, but the stroller was large, heavy, and difficult to maneuver. Part of difficulty in maneuvering was placing the older, heavier child in the front, and the lighter infant in the back. The Chicco BravoFor2 is amazing! We have it configured for use with an infant carrier. Our toddler loves ridding on the back, and having the flexibility of jumping on for a ride, or walking along side his big brothers. The BravorFor2 is well balanced, and does not feel like the "bus" that many double strollers are. Having the older, heavier child in the back makes turning and maneuvering a breeze! The unit was simple to assemble, and is relatively lightweight when comparing to other similar products. Closing the stroller is intuitive and makes picking it up to put in the car easier than most. Our Chicco infant carrier fits well in the front, and is easy to put on and take off. The cup holders are a bit small, and do not fit larger kids cups, but this is by no means a deal-breaker. We are thrilled with the BravoFor2. Chicco provided this product to me in exchange for my honest opinion.

Perfect for an older child and newborn!

Christie

We love our Chicco BravoFor2 stroller! With a newborn and a preschooler it fits our needs perfectly! Our preschooler is usually “too cool for strollers” but with the new addition to our family, he wants to be in the stroller with his brother and the sit and stand option are perfect for an older child. The Chicco Keyfit 30 infant seat easily snaps in and out of the stroller which is useful when maneuvering two children and the stroller has a “smooth ride” and is easy to push and turn! Most double strollers I have handled have been heavy, bulky, and hard to store but not the BravoFor2. We love how easy it is to close using one lever and how compact it becomes when folded. The cupholders and the accessory bag are awesome! I feel like we are constantly losing things and being able to place our cell phone and keys in the zip compartment is a real lifesaver. The only negative we found, is it would be nice if the stroller handle was adjustable. My husband is on the taller side and it would be more comfortable if the handle could extend a bit! We look forward to continuing to use this stroller as our children grow and trying out the different features it has to offer! We highly recommend this to anyone who has an older child and is looking for a double stroller!

Easy assembly and great for two kids!

shieldsdj1988

This stroller is great! It was really easy to put together and access all of it's functions. I love that our toddler can stand or sit in their spot while our other little one can sit facing forward. Good storage underneath and a canopy to shade the kids from the sun or light rain. It also has good wheels and turns easily and without any struggle. I definitely recommend this stroller if you have two kids! Chicco provided this product to me in exchange for my honest opinion.

Wonderful stroller for 2!!

celeste1970

This is a great stroller, very smooth ride for the kids with the treaded tires, easy to fold and put into a vehicle. Love the 2 areas for storing cups, the large storage basket is great to have. Overall a very nicely made stroller. Chicco provided this product to me for my honest opinion.

Easy To Use

JohnCoz

We were looking for a stroller that would be suitable for 2 children (2 and 4) and found the BravoFor2. We have used the stroller for the 2 year old alone riding facing forward, sitting on the rear seat facing backwards, and standing holding onto the grips. We have used the stroller with the 4 year old standing holding onto the grips. We have also used the stroller with both children with the 2 year old seated facing forward with the 4 year old standing holding the grips and seated facing backwards. We use the stroller twice per day for walks of one mile each in rain or shine. Chicco provided this product to me in exchange for my honest opinion. Pros: This stroller is exceptionally easy to assemble (5-7 minutes). The stroller is lightweight yet sturdy. It is easy to push even with the weight of 2 children (70 pounds total). Turning the stroller is fairly easy when loaded even with one hand. The field of view for the children is unobstructed for a child seated forward or standing holding onto the grips. The ride is smooth with no wobble. The brake is easily set or released with either foot and is sufficient to keep the stroller immobile on an incline even when loaded. Cons: The canopy is great if being used to cover one child in the rain but will not shield 2 children (I would suggest more material so as to accordion a greater distance). The wheels are great on pavement or smooth trails but I would not recommend off-roading with this stroller.

Perfect for multiple kids!!!

Santa22

The best double stroller I’ve ever used. It’s easy to steer, the wheels never get caught or have trouble turning. I have four kids, I use this stroller for the two youngest, the ease of getting the stroller in and out of my now very crammed vehicle is amazing. I never have to struggle collapsing or opening the stroller, and for a double stroller it’s very compact. The sit or stand feature is the best, my active 2 year old loves it. I definitely recommend this stroller, Chicco never disappoints.

Great idea, poor execution

Samual Dollar

When we had our first baby, we bought a chicco next fit convertible car seat and loved it. When we had our second child, we wanted a double stroller, so we bought this one because of its unique design, because we trusted three brand, and so we had a stroller to use for our newborn and our 3 year old. To start with, it folds easy and the car seat for the newborn works great with it. Setting up the stroller and getting both kids in it is a breeze and that part I like. Unfortunately, it is built cheap, and the actual experience of using it is horrible. It works great if you are going on a completely straight line on a perfectly flat floor, but add in any turning or imperfect floors (including perfect flooring with tiles, with the small lines between the tiles, I'm not taking about any offroading here) and you quickly realize that you wasted hundreds of dollars on a frustratingly flawed product. Turning it is harder than it should be, it already is squeaking, it is hard to maneuver, and it is nearly impossible to use on any flooring that isn't perfect, including the dreaded walk from the parking lot to inside the store. I wanted to like this product, but I am patiently waiting for my now 5 month old to be big enough for a smaller stroller, and for my 4 year old to start walking more on her own so that I can tear this stroller apart and throw it in the dumpster. Normally I donate my old baby devices, but I wouldn't wish this product on anyone.

Excellent product with exception

Linnette

Not recommended for twin baby's of the same ages.

Great for my 3.5 year old and 6 month old

kmgarrett17

We’ve used this stroller since day one when my youngest was born. When we’re out and about, my 3 year old is always changing her mind on if she wants to ride in the stroller or walk. The “big sister seat” in the back was the perfect solution. Before my youngest was able to sit up, we would just clip in her Chicco Fit2 infant carrier, which was a total lifesaver. My oldest loved being able to stand and look at her baby sister as we moved along. The fabric is easy to clean and surprisingly stain resistant, and the large canopy is able to cover both of my girls when needed. It’s fairly light, folds up easily, the steering is smooth, and it isn’t insanely bulky like many other double strollers out there. The only thing that keeps me from giving it 5 stars are two minor complaints: • I wish the undercarriage was a little bit deeper because it’s difficult to fit our diaper bag • I wish the front seat would have the option to recline back further so my youngest would nap All in all, I love this stroller. A good double stroller is difficult to find and I would absolutely recommend this one for anyone with kids that are close in age.

Best of a bunch of bad options - but not good

Anonjab

We have a three-year-old and four-month-old and went looking for a sit 'n' stand stroller before having the second. I happened upon this one, which was pretty new at the time, and compared to everything else on the market it looked like the best option, so we went with it. I still think it's the best option in this category of strollers, but that's mostly a testament to how horrible the available sit 'n' stand options are. It has good elements, but I definitely don't love it. Pros: • My three-year-old is happy with the jump seat and standing board, and actually fits on them without being squashed by the handle bar. This was probably the most important criterion we looked for in a stroller, since there was no point in getting a sit 'n' stand for two kids if one kid wouldn't actually use it due to discomfort. Our oldest (who's tall) definitely has enough room, and that's awesome. • Adult feet don't hit the standing board as they walk! This was a huge issue with other strollers and add-on boards, and was the reason we rejected just getting a board to go on our otherwise beloved City Mini GT. There's no point in getting a sit 'n' stand if you won't use it because you're constantly walking into the stroller, and Chicco did a great job of solving that problem here. • Storage basket. Almost the only thing I hated about the City Mini GT I had for my first child was how much work it was to get a moderately-loaded diaper bag into and out of the storage basket. The Bravo for 2 has access to the basket from the front and back and has a great amount of storage space! • Stands on its own when folded. This is awesome. Cons • Feels low-quality and I have very little confidence it will hold up on city streets and sidewalks over time. Chicco makes a good jogging stroller, so I know the company's capable of making a stroller with rugged wheels and solid framework. This one feels . . . cheap. And flimsy. After just a couple of months the wheels have started making a regular squeaking noise. It can't go over minor dips or breaks in the sidewalk without an adult basically hanging from the handlebar to lift the wheels. The wheels look like they'll be pitted and worn through in about six months. We're not that hard on the thing - walking about ten blocks to school three-ish times a week, and maybe two other outings in the neighborhood in between. But this thing seems like it's only suited for someone who only wants to use it inside a mall. • There is no recline position in the seat. The features say that the seat has two recline positions, but when I assembled it I could only make it do one, so I actually called Chicco. Jean, who I spoke to, said that nope, the only positions are straight up or folded flat down so that you can put your car seat on top of it. She acknowledge this could be "misleading." Uh . . . yup. I'd go so far as to say false advertising. So far my little one's just in the car seat, but I think we'll be majorly limited in using it as the baby gets older because there's no way to recline the seat for a sleeping baby. (For the record, there's room in the stroller frame where the seat could be made to recline more, even without infringing on the older child space - that's why I was so confused when I couldn't get it to lean back further. It just doesn't. Really poor design on Chicco's part.) • The thing maneuvers about as well as an aircraft carrier. I get it, this is a trade-off for having enough space for both kids, and basically every double stroller of any kind maneuvers horrible. But there are strollers out there (like Chicco’s own jogger) that are much more responsive to pressure on the handlebar and ride a lot smoother overall. This thing feels like driving a tank. And while it’s not the worst I’ve driven, it leaves A LOT to be desired. • It’s heavy when folded. I could accept this more if it were a tradeoff for stability, but as discussed, the stroller doesn’t feel all that solid and stable. • The handle bar isn't great. First, it's not adjustable, which was a huge reason we loved and bought our City Mini GT. I'm 5'2" and my husband's 6'4", so it's really awesome to have a handle bar that adjusts to accommodate that difference. We survive with this one, but it would be such a great addition to make it adjustable. Also, the bar is covered in that horrible cheap, dense stroller handle foam that you know will start to break off halfway through its lifespan. Quality rubber would be a much better option, Chicco. • The parent console is useless. The cupholders can’t handle a regular Munchkin sippy cup or an adult insulated Camelbak bottle. The zip pouch can take my keys and, with some maneuvering, my regular iPhone 6 in a Lifeproof case. But if you want a place to stash a snack cup or larger wallet, well, nope. I want to use my old Skip and Bee fabric attachable console, but the Chicco one is built in and completely in the way! Trying to see if I can unscrew it without taking apart the whole stroller . . . . So that’s my take on this stroller. It hits some of the hardest things to find in a good sit ‘n’ stand, it’s just really, REALLY annoying that in hitting the biggest things it’s such a huge miss on some of the small things. We’ll probably just muddle through with this until I can rely on my oldest to walk consistently, then go back to the City Mini GT. I just hope this happens before my infant wants to nap in the stroller . . . .

It's light Weight , easy to fold .

I bought this item 3 months ago , it's great for traveling with my baby and toddler .

An amazing stroller

Troymill

I bought the stroller two weeks ago. Just have to say my wife loves it. My daughter enjoys sitting or standing while riding with her new born brother. Just have to say what an amazing awesome stroller.

Awesome for traveling!!!

Gbe3

This stroller has survived a trip to Europe with my 4 year old and 4 month old!! It was perfect for all the walking on cobblestone, so easy to get in/out of the car many times and was perfect for the 4 year old to ride (either sitting or standing) when she got tired of walking!!! The stroller did not get damaged at all when it was checked with our luggage for the flights! Great stroller for traveling and for everyday use at home-the storage underneath is perfect for bags of any kind!!

Very Disappointed

melinda721

I purchased this item on 1/22/2017 i have sent email i have called the store that i purchased it from and as of today no resolution. Am basically stuck with this over weight stroller that is really hard to open and easy to close. I have my proof of purchase they would not refund the product due to us not having the box of which i explained i had no ideal this stroller was a waste of my money until i had the chance to use it on vacation. This product is to heavy , the infant if they have long legs the seat is uncomfortable , the storage department for the baby bottle is not designed to hold the bottle proper , it has no recline for the child if they fall a sleep . The best part of the stroller is the seat in the back and the stand up position other than that i do not recommend this stroller to anyone.

Cool stroller

We just purchased this stroller for our Cruise this summer. We use it this weekend for Carnival. I have a six-year-old and a nine-month-old. I was in love with the stroller until my nine-month-old fell asleep. It does not recline. Other than the reclining it's awesome. Got lots of compliments.

Convenient for daycare drop off & pick up!

AandBsmom

We purchased this stroller because I needed a few extra hands for daycare drop off of a 2 year old and 4 month old in our KeyFit car seat. Lots of storage and effective for our family. Rides so so smooth!!

So excited about this quality stroller

SAHMommyof2

I am so in love with this stroller!! My 20 month old loves to sit in the seat, but is also very mobile and loves to stand on the back. She loves to put her toys in the basket which is so easy to access from the front and back. Folding it is so easy as well. I am looking forward to seeing how well it works when the new baby is born in a couple weeks. The only recommendation I would make is to somehow include a cup holder for the kid in the back. Or allow the snack tray to be used in the back.

Amazing!

Bmfiore

I have a 3yr old and an infant (10weeks). This stroller is perfect! It's very easy to push and steer; we actually forget that it's longer. My older child loves the hop on/off experience and our infant is safely in his car seat. The stroller is a little heavy folded up- I have trouble lifting it; need two hands but that is going to happen when seating two. I haven't encountered any of the issues (steering, etc) that are noted by users of other double strollers. FYI: we love chicco products and buy mostly chicco when deciding on a new purchase.

Easy and convenient

I'm not much of a stroller person but when I saw this I had to try it. Now that my newborn is here, I love this stroller. My little one is too small to baby wear and this makes it easy to take him and my almost 3 year old places.

I love it!

Nik20

I bought this with hopes of it being a compact double stroller. It is that and more! I love all the features of this stroller!

I LOVE this stroller

This stroller is amazing and great quality. I would highly recommend

All around Amazing!

Jdhockett1103

Just arrived today put it together within 5 minutes! Easy assembly! Such light weight! Put my one year old in the front seat and my 3 and 4 year olds couldn't wait to sit and stand so we took it for a stroll around our block and I truly was amazed at how well the maneuverability was and the look and feel. My 3 and 4 year olds took turns one would sit or stand while the other pushed the stroller! I'm in love!

Ben1234

Great lighter weight double! Very smooth maneuverability! Only issue is that the second position for the front seat doesn't lock into position.

The features set this stroller apart from the rest

TRoss

The Chicco Bravo for 2 is easily the best thought out sit and stand stroller on the market. This is the third double stroller we have purchased. For the past two years we had to keep two strollers on hand. We had an Expedition Double Jogger (double wide) which was hard to get through any single doorway and impossible in older narrow doorways. We used a Baby Trend Sit N Stand stroller (one seat in front of the other) this stroller was easier to get through doors but the wheels were standard small wheels that had difficulty on terrain that wasn't smooth. And the kid in the back seat always kicked the seat of the kid in front. (Oy, toddlers, am I right?) The Chicco Bravo for 2 has all the features we loved in our old strollers and none of the negative. The wheels are large and can handle going through grass and gravel. The overall size is similar to a single stroller. The design is far more stylish than others on the market. With the seats sitting back to back our kids don't fight, they don't even have to look at each other! One feature that sets the stroller apart is the way it folds. The folding mechanism (which turns into a handle) is in the center of the stroller which becomes the highest point once closed. Every aspect of the design was so well thought out, I'm honestly impressed.

Lightweight and Folds Up Small

KHBicker

This is a perfect replacement for our large, heavy and hard-to-maneuver two passenger stroller! We have a one year old and an almost 3 year old. We sometimes use our KeyFit carseat in the front, but mostly we just use it as a regular stroller for our one year old. The KeyFit carseat fits nicely, so it would be perfect for a newborn. I love that our three year old can sit in the back on the seat for now and then stand up on the platform when she gets a little older. I am surprised at how lightweight the stroller is! It moves so smoothly, even with two kids in it. It's a HUGE improvement from our other bulky two person stroller someone gave us as a hand-me-down. I also love the zipper mom-compartment on the handle. It fits a lot of stuff! The quality is great, you really get what you pay for!

Good push, poor durability (less than 1 month)

Anika

Purchased this month, used about 5 times so far and really like the push compared to other sit n stands! Also like the zippable parent storage area and large, easily accessible storage. Downsides are durability (already a rip on the chair fabric) and the back wheels seem slightly wobbly. I noted this on the floor model (the wobbly back wheels) at babies r us, but at the risk of sounding elitist, I figured it was just a part-time working teenager who hastily assembled it and I assumed I would get a different result if I followed directions. Not so, the back wheels have the same slight wobble after less than 2 weeks of use. At this price point, and my previous experience with chicco, I expected a hardier product. I am however very grateful for the improvements they have already made over the competitor's products and I hope these issues will be worked out.

Perfect for so many ages!!

Simple. Smooth. Easy to use. Those are just a few of the key ways in which I would describe this BravoFor 2 stroller from Chicco. It encompasses all of the elements that I would desire in a sit and stand stroller. This stroller replaced a much older sit and stand and the improvements on this one are amazing. The front seat could easily handle a two year old facing forward (with an older child in the back.) But even better, the front seat quickly folds down so that a Chicco car seat can be placed in that space. No extra attachments or adaptors are needed. Those two factors alone will allow for continued use through many of the stages of childhood. It's smooth and sleek and almost feels like its pushing itself. Its much shorter than I would have expected which makes for much easier maneuvering through crowds. There is ample storage under the seating (a must have for parents) and the manufacturing is impressive. It feels strong and sturdy. Probably my favorite attributes of the stroller (in addition to the fact that you don't need adaptors for the car seat) are quick fold technology and the limited space it utilizes when folded. We have 5 kids so space and time are at a premium in our life. The quick fold capabilities are so easy to use that I didn't even need to read any manual or directions. As I mentioned, it saves time and space. A must have for all parents. I'd highly recommend this product and encourage you to take it for a test drive.

Toddler loves it

Leah123

The BravoFor2 is great for my newborn and three year old. My toddler especially loves sitting and seeing mom. The quick fold down feature makes it convenient for moms who not want to spend a ton of time in the parking lot after getting kids in the car. I'd highly recommend this stroller for anyone with a toddler and infant.

Reddit parents generally recommend the Chicco BravoFor2 as a lightweight, maneuverable, and affordable sit-and-stand double stroller ideal for families with a newborn and a toddler, though the front seat's lack of recline is a recurring drawback for napping children.

The stroller receives praise for its compact fold, ease of use with a newborn car seat, and smooth ride, but the non-reclining front seat and limited cargo space when used as a double prompt criticism, pushing sentiment slightly positive overall due to strong recommendability for specific use cases.

Community Q&A

Can the front seat recline for a sleeping child?
No, the front seat has very limited recline, making it unsuitable for naps; most parents recommend using the car seat for infants or waiting until the child is older.
Is the BravoFor2 good for twins?
No, it only accepts one infant car seat; it's designed for an older child and a newborn, not two infants.
How does it compare to the Chicco Cortina Together?
The BravoFor2 is much lighter, more compact, and easier to maneuver, while the Cortina Together is heavier and harder to steer.

  • BravoFor2 praised for compact fold and infant seat compatibility, minor cup holder issue

We love our Chicco BravoFor2 stroller! It is lightweight, easy to fold with one lever, and very compact for a double. The Keyfit 30 infant seat clicks right in, which is a lifesaver. The sit and stand option is perfect for our preschooler who usually refuses the stroller. Maneuvers smoothly. Only complaint: cup holders are too small for anything but tiny cups.

  • Front seat lack of recline and twin readiness are major concerns

The BravoFor2 is great for the price but the front seat barely reclines, so my 6-month-old can't nap in it. It's also not for twins since only one car seat fits. If you need both kids to sleep, look elsewhere. But for quick trips with a toddler and infant car seat, it's perfect. Light and easy to push.

  • Maneuverability and fold are top pros, but napping issues persist

I have the BravoFor2 and while it steers like a dream and folds tiny, the front seat not reclining is a dealbreaker for many. My toddler sits on the back and baby in the car seat. But once baby outgrows the car seat, they have to sit upright only. Storage is limited when the second seat is down.

  • Mixed feelings on durability compared to Graco, but easier to fold

We had the Graco Ready2Grow but hated how heavy it was. Switched to BravoFor2 and it's so much lighter and easier to fold. But the Graco felt more durable and the seats could actually recline. Chicco's front seat is useless for sleeping. But for errands with a toddler and car seat, we're happy.

  • Value pick over premium strollers but with sleeping limitations

After trying the Vista V2 and Joovy, we went with BravoFor2. Much cheaper and just as good for our needs: newborn car seat click-in and toddler standing. But agree the front seat not reclining is annoying. Fine for short walks. If you have the money, Vista is more versatile; if not, this is solid.
