This is a stroller with one job, to comfortably fit into tight spaces. It probably shouldn't be your primary stroller, but for taking the bus, navigating narrow corridors, or going to theme parks, this is The One. I have two heavy toddlers, and larger double strollers are a nightmare on crowded buses. This one is compact, reasonably maneuverable once you get the knack of it, and pretty light. (Especially if you leave off accessories you might not need, like the single snack tray and canopy.) I wear a diaper bag backpack with everything we need for our outing, and the minuscule and inaccessible storage basket is only used for feet and maybe baby jackets or hats when they're not being worn. It's easy to lift up the front wheels for boarding a bus, and de-boarding going backwards is similarly straightforward. We have a fancy wagon which we use for most walking trips but I need the option to take the bus and this makes it stress-free. Unboxing and setup took me about an hour, but wasn't too hard.

This was the first stroller i had ever gotten from Joovy and it was such a game changer. Alot of strollers are bulky and hard to get around most places, this stroller was SO EASY to get in and out of anywhere! It is very lightweight and perfect for any occasion.

Blessing

Joovy as a company is by far a blessing.. This stroller exceeds all my expectations.. I am a mom of 3(3yr old 2yr old and a 11months) I was in need of a stroller that can carry my kids with ease.. this stroller is Easy to turn, can fit thru Isles in a grocery store and I don’t feel like am pushing a truck …. It folds down nicely and fits into my van with grace…. I love how stylish And modern the stroller looks and it comes in different colors(Awesome) This stroller is perfect for all my children and I wouldn’t have been more happy with my choice… thank you joovy

We really like this stroller. We have a 3 month old and a 2 1/2 year old, and he loves to jump on the platform when it’s time to go. Our one (big) complaint is that the snaps are so hard to snap and unsnap. The storage underneath is a nightmare to try to get in things in and out of. We are going to try to sew Velcro on it to make it easier. Other than that, it’s a good stroller.

Joovy Caboose Too Ultralight is awesome! It's light weight when folded and perfect for my newborn and toddler. My toddler and I love the standing position and I also like the seat/buckle option too. Additionally, I purchased the second seat for my toddler and keep it in my car if I want him seated, depending on the outing. My newborn carseat fits right in the stroller slot; it's slightly problematic for getting my newborn in and out of the seat, but I anticipated it wouldn't be perfect since it is from another brand. The storage at the bottom is a little tight for my diaper backpack but I've managed to squeeze it in. Overall, it is a great purchase!

Fabulous stroller!!!..... couldn't be happier its everything I needed and hoped for....love that it's so lightweight I'm yet very durable!!!...my last sit and stand was ok but was so heavy and big to travel with and it didn't fit in my trunk!!...but now my joovy fits perfectly and isn't a work out in itself traveling with it ...I have 6 kids so any less of anything to go out and about with is awesome!!!..also to make it even greater myself as well as my 3yo love the fact that she's actually in a seat in the back instead of just the bench which was nerve-wracking and stressful if a nap was needed so now both our minds are at ease.....I just can't praise this stroller enough as well as the creative people at joovy who thought of every scenario and detail to make such a satisfying product!!!!....5 stars to you all and my super stylish stroller which is also another plus!!!..... highly recommended to everyone!!!

I have tried so many different double strollers, and this one is my all-time favorite. It's so easy to maneuver, lightweight, and fairly compact when I close it up and put it in my car! Of all the double strollers I have used, this one is a keeper.

Everything is nice except is is hard as all get out to fold up! The lever system on the hand rail seems to always get locked up. 50% of the time it takes me minutes to fold up....when my Britax takes literally 2 seconds. Quite frustrating to say the least.

I was gifted this and just put this together. It looks like it will work great...however, even though it comes with a car seat adapter, I don't think the actual car seat strap was included. This is fairly annoying as now I have to order one via the website and it seems like it will take forever to ship unless I pay a hefty shipping fee for a strap that is $9. I emailed and called (but nobody answered).

We have a Joovy double stroller from several years ago and decided we would like the canopy that can shade both the front and back children; we called to Joovy and asked about which canopy would be compatible with our older model. Not only was the representative knowledgeable but also offered to provide for us a new parent organizer in order to make the new canopy work for our stroller. I was more than impressed that the Joovy company designs their products not only to last, but that they are compatible with each other. Instead of having to buy and updated, new stroller, we are able to use our older model and modify it to fit for our family. Clearly Joovy keeps the customer in mind and makes great, durable strollers as well!

I went from a Grandma of one to three within a year. I have been out of the market for baby accessories for years now and was overwhelmed by the choices out there. I was relieved to find the Joovy site. Everyone has been so helpful in getting me what I need. The Caboose Too Ultralight Graphite is awesome! It has everything I need and will grow with the ages of my grandkids. No need to buy another stroller. My two year old loves the stand-on platform. Perfect for short trips to the park. For longer walks the rear seat is easy to install. Both front and backseat easily recline when they get sleepy. It really is Ultralight and easily folds up nice and compact. The parent organizer, that is included, holds all your essentials and does not add any bulk to the stroller. The storage basket underneath is nice and big and the canopy is large with an extender for the child in back to be covered from the son as well. So happy with this purchase of the Caboose Too

Oh boy, I can’t tell you enough how much my husband and I LOVE this double stroller. Our first attempt at a double was a side-by-side by another company. We couldn’t open it, it was so heavy, and hard to steer. I was embarrassed every time I had to attempt to open it in public. But then we got the Joovy too ultralight graphite and holy moly- what a difference. It is soooooo light, so easy to open and close, so easy to steer, very narrow so it’s easy to take both kids out and shopping. Two different brand car seats we own fit perfectly on the universal adapter (my husband even hacks this stroller to fit the car seat on the backseat so my oldest can ride up front and it’s a game changer). We get stopped on the street almost everyday with people wanting to know more about this stroller. We’re excited to use the sit and stand option when my oldest is a little older. This is my number one recommendation for parents of two. 5 stars! (Oh and we also have a song for his double because we like it so much- “jooovy on that beat” )

LindseyB

Love love this stroller for my 5 month old and 2.5yo. Easy to push and maneuver and folds down great to fit in the car. We also purchased the caboose rear seat so my 2.5yo can sit during long outings. We love the gray. This stroller is everything that we needed.

I was looking for a decent, sturdy double stroller as I was approaching my due date with my second child. I'm not much of a stroller mom, so spending $500+ on a stroller just wasn't working for me. I stumbled upon this stroller, did some research, test drove one at BuyBuyBaby and then took the plunge. I love it. I've had to contact customer service twice. Once because I couldn't find the safety strap for the car seat (thought I misplaced it, didn't, it's nicely built into the stroller so it can't be lost!) and the second time was because a screw popped out of my canopy. I asked for replacement screws, instead, they are sending me a replacement canopy the very next day. I can go on and on, but I'll just say this is a GREAT stroller.

Carley

This stroller met all of my expectations and then some! Easy to turn, compact enough to fit in my sedan trunk, and plenty of space for the older child as well, which many double strollers lack. This stroller also has the best sun coverage I've seen, while most don't offer sun protection for the child in the back seat at all. The canopy is huge! I was also amazed with how much room was left for my older son after installing the car seat in the front. My husband put the stroller together in about 15 minutes! I love the look and style and I know it will grow with my family. This stroller is perfect for my newborn and 3 year old!

Perfect for a toddler and a baby, and for 2 toddler Perfect for travel, and long trips I would totally recomend it My problems were: -when my toddler was getting sleep, but the new chair accesories seems a good idea. -and leave no space in the trunk

Anonymous

I was very excited to receive this stoller, however, I am now thinking of returning it. I think it would be great if my toddler was ready for the sit and stand option, but we are not quite there yet. Since I have the second seat in, I have no access to the storage bin and no where to hang my diaper bag. These two things are a huge bummer when I am out and about with a toddler and an infant.

Anonymous

This product is just what I needed for my 2 boys. Unfortunately there is just ONE con, the snaps on the second seat broke after the first use I would recommend this stroller just without the second seat for this reason :(.

Anonymous

We were able to test out the Caboose Too Ultralight through Joovy's Blogger Program. The stroller does require some assembly to get it going but nothing major. You'll need to attach the wheels and the back seat if you're wanting to have the second child sitting while riding. Total construction time for me was about 7 minutes! My 2 year old fit comfortably in the front seat and had plenty of room even with the child tray attached. I really like the 5-point harnesses that help keep the kiddos secure. Having the shoulder straps makes me feel like my son can't escape easily and is safely strapped in. The parent organizer is wonderful! It's a flexible fabric which allows me to keep sippy cups snug without them being bopped around from uneven ground. There's even a zippered pocket on the outside that lets me keep my keys or phone safe. Plus, the large storage basket lets me tote along the diaper bag, snacks and anything else we may need. The bench seat is awesome! It's great to be able to have my older child walk along and then hitch a ride if she gets tired. The bench seat allows her to get the best of both worlds without the confinement to just being in a seat. The bench seat is padded so it's nice and comfy to sit on. I also really like that the stand-on platform is positioned where the child can stand with their back against the push bar. This gives My older daughter something to lean on and me the ability to push without having to move around her. Strolling into Fall with the Joovy Caboose Too Ultralight – Stand-On Tandem Double Stroller!

I have been debating for a while about buying a double stroller and finally decided to get this one for my 3 month old and 2 1/2 year old. I didn't want a big double stroller because I was concerned that my daughter would be walking enough and it would have been a waste of money. I wanted something that could accommodate my newborn and my toddler and still be able to use in the next 2 years. I like the fact that it is compact. It is a bit tight when I put my toddler to sit in the rear seat while using the carseat in the front for my newborn but my toddler is not complaining and it is perfect when she is tired. I encourage her to walk for the most part so it is not a big deal. Once i stop using the car seat it is enough room for both children. As for the fold. This stroller is the exact same size as my chicco cortina stroller. The fold is not bulky. If you are looking for something smaller then you need to buy a light weight single stroller because I haven't seen any other double stroller this sleek. Every where I go people are complimenting my stroller. This stroller is not a one hand push when using the car seat but it is still very light. The one thing I wish this stroller had is more accessibility for the basket. I am not able to do any light shopping because it is not easy to place a small grocery bag in the basket. Then again what light weight stroller has basket space? I bought stroller hooks so that will solved that problem. So far so good. In a few months I will give the update about the sit and stand part since I haven't used it yet. I am happy that it will become a sit and stand later on. So far this was money well spent.

The look is great it's light easy to take out of the car and put back in the trunk. I have yet to try it with my toddler and baby (due in two weeks) but it will be very useful for sure in no time. There was some issues with shipping and delivery but the staff was very helpful and patient while assisting me. Special thanks to Tony!

Keep shopping.

This stroller was fine until we actually needed to put two kids in it. If you’re just going to use it for walks around your neighborhood it’s fine. If you want to actually go anywhere with your stroller keep shopping. This ain’t it. Pros: -Very compact-Lightweight for a double-Comfortable seats-Good tray table in front-Fits in a car trunk with the tray and canopy removed Cons: -Absolutely no storage except for cupholders. If a second child is riding the storage basket underneath will only fit their feet. -If you use the cupholders your cups will block your grip. -The handles are almost at a 90° angle perpendicular to the ground and non-adjustable. If you hang a diaper bag from them the rear child cannot recline. -If you recline the front seat for a nap there is no room for another child to sit in the rear. -You cannot push the canopy back behind the rear child. It collapses together but still blocks the view of the child in back. It is removable but there’s nowhere to put it because there’s absolutely no storage. -You have to manually latch it once it’s collapsed. It doesn’t stay collapsed otherwise. It’s nearly impossible to do one-handed. I almost always have to do this while holding one of my children and it’s very challenging to hold a baby hold the stroller together and secure the latch. -Once it’s collapsed there’s no kick stand or any way to hold it upright. I think you’re intended to just lay it all the way on the ground which is impractical for when you’re boarding a bus or train. It also gets it dirty and the fabric on our canopy has ripped from being laid on the ground. -If you need to carry it (e.g. collapsing it to go up stairs) you’ll need two hands. I don’t think I could carry it in one hand and carry my child in the other arm because there’s not a good place to grab the stroller. -It’s very hard to turn or swerve with two children in it. All in all it’s a pretty good ride for the kid in the front. Mostly it’s just been frustrating. We’ve taken it to NYC Disneyland and the Grand Canyon and it makes an already physically demanding experience worse instead of better. Wow I wish I’d bought something else.

Then again what light weight stroller has basket space? I bought stroller hooks so that will solved that problem. So far so good. In a few months I will give the update about the sit and stand part since I haven't used it yet. I am happy that it will become a sit and stand later on. So far this was money well spent.

Not so happy mom

Not so happy mom (caution: long rant)I bought this stroller because of the lightweight it boasted about. It truly is lightweight in comparison to other strollers and the swivel wheels help to maneuver easily. I also like that both seats can recline to a decent extent. The accessories basket is nice but the handle is such that you can not hang anything extra on it. You would definitely need a hook for your purse groceries etc. I say groceries because the storage basket below is of absolutely no use. Once my child is in the back there is zero access to the storage basket and in fact it's occupied by her feet. I believe they could have designed the back seat to be slightly higher and the basket to at least be accessed from the sides. I have not converted the back seat to bench style yet but I took a look at it and it does not look that easy. The canopy is really nice and covers both kids completely. But all of these nice things got overlooked yesterday. Now for the worst part of this review. My older daughter is 4 and my younger daughter is 2. Neither of them are extra ordinarily tall. My older daughter was sitting upfront when both her feet got caught under the stroller and scraped her little feet pretty bad. I then thought she was probably too big for the front seat so I put my 2 year old up front and no less then 2 seconds later her foot got caught stuck in the front wheel and again got scraped. Both my babies are now in a lot of pain and were screaming and at that point I honestly didn't want anything to do with the stroller. Another time my younger one was sitting upfront and I didn't happen to put her seat belt and she slipped out while sleeping. Thank God she was bundled in a lot of blankets so she only managed to slip out half way before the tray stopped her from slipping out completely but her feet and legs did get stuck under the stroller. That was the first time something like this happened. Im assuming the front seat is for kids until 18 months or so. But then what do you do once your child passes that age. Toss it and get another one? This is my third double stroller I am tired of being disappointed again and again with these strollers. I just bought it last month and it looks like I have to start the search again. My other two were not as expensive. I figured if I invest some more money this time it will be beneficial for my kids. But unfortunately it didn't quite go that way. So I give this stroller 2 stars.

Everything You Need in One Box

The parent organizer that is included holds all your essentials and does not add any bulk to the stroller. The storage basket underneath is nice and big and the canopy is large with an extender for the child in back to be covered from the son as well. So happy with this purchase of the Caboose Too

I can’t say enough good things about this double!

Oh boy I can’t tell you enough how much my husband and I LOVE this double stroller. Our first attempt at a double was a side-by-side by another company. We couldn’t open it it was so heavy and hard to steer. I was embarrassed every time I had to attempt to open it in public. But then we got the Joovy too ultralight graphite and holy moly- what a difference. It is soooooo light so easy to open and close so easy to steer very narrow so it’s easy to take both kids out and shopping. 5 stars! (Oh and we also have a song for his double because we like it so much- jooovy on that beat )

freedom for mother of two who travels alone

I am a mother of two baby boys one two and half year old and another nine month old. I bought this last month and I was excited to get it one week after I placed the order. Imagine such bulky parcel travelled from one part of the globe to another part Malaysia! When I opened the parcel I was so worried I couldn't fix it. My husband is not around to help me install the stroller. Luckily I can easily search YouTube for video of installing especially one shared by a Japanese parent. Sorry I still prefer demonstration to the manual.I used to carry my baby son using a carrier over my waist and push my elder son in a single stroller for a walk outside. It was too strenuous. My back and hip hurt. Now I use Joovy double stroller for evening walk. It is a breeze. More importantly it means freedom for me! The weight of the stroller is still bearable for me you still have to use two hands to carry it. I can't make comparison because I have never used or tried other types of double stroller. It is easy to fold and maneuver without any kids in it. It gets a bit challenging to turn the front wheels with the kids sitting inside but not as frustrating as one of my single strollers that I bought earlier. The buttons of the rear seat are a bit difficult to fasten back. I was frightened because if I can't fasten back then the rear seat is useless and I will cry as the price of caboose is higher than a stroller sold in Malaysia taking into account of weaker ringgit exchange rate. Luckily I pushed extremely hard and manage to fasten it. I would suggest that the seat belt to be longer at the waist as even my baby son is using up to the maximum length.Other than this I am satisfied with caboose ultralight too as it helps to solve my transport problem. It is worth paying if I take into account of the useful life (until my elder son reaches four or five year old). That's why I chose sit and stand design.Thank you Joovy for your prompt reply in live chat of my queries.

The best on the market

This stroller met all of my expectations and then some! Easy to turn compact enough to fit in my sedan trunk and plenty of space for the older child as well which many double strollers lack. This stroller also has the best sun coverage I've seen while most don't offer sun protection for the child in the back seat at all. The canopy is huge! I was also amazed with how much room was left for my older son after installing the car seat in the front. My husband put the stroller together in about 15 minutes! I love the look and style and I know it will grow with my family. This stroller is perfect for my newborn and 3 year old!

The look is great, it's light, easy to take out of the car and put back in the trunk. I have yet to try it with my toddler and baby (due in two weeks), but it will be very useful for sure in no time. There was some issues with shipping and delivery, but the staff was very helpful and patient while assisting me. Special thanks to Tony!

This stroller was fine until we actually needed to put two kids in it. If you’re just going to use it for walks around your neighborhood, it’s fine. If you want to actually go anywhere with your stroller, keep shopping. This ain’t it. Pros: -Very compact -Lightweight for a double -Comfortable seats -Good tray table in front -Fits in a car trunk with the tray and canopy removed Cons: -Absolutely no storage except for cupholders. If a second child is riding, the storage basket underneath will only fit their feet. -If you use the cupholders, your cups will block your grip. -The handles are almost at a 90° angle perpendicular to the ground and non-adjustable. If you hang a diaper bag from them, the rear child cannot recline. -If you recline the front seat for a nap, there is no room for another child to sit in the rear. -You cannot push the canopy back behind the rear child. It collapses together but still blocks the view of the child in back. It is removable, but there’s nowhere to put it, because there’s absolutely no storage. -You have to manually latch it once it’s collapsed. It doesn’t stay collapsed otherwise. It’s nearly impossible to do one-handed. I almost always have to do this while holding one of my children, and it’s very challenging to hold a baby, hold the stroller together, and secure the latch. -Once it’s collapsed, there’s no kick stand or any way to hold it upright. I think you’re intended to just lay it all the way on the ground, which is impractical for when you’re boarding a bus or train. It also gets it dirty, and the fabric on our canopy has ripped from being laid on the ground. -If you need to carry it (e.g., collapsing it to go up stairs), you’ll need two hands. I don’t think I could carry it in one hand and carry my child in the other arm, because there’s not a good place to grab the stroller. -It’s very hard to turn or swerve with two children in it. All in all, it’s a pretty good ride for the kid in the front. Mostly it’s just been frustrating. We’ve taken it to NYC, Disneyland, and the Grand Canyon, and it makes an already physically demanding experience worse instead of better. Wow I wish I’d bought something else.

We got this stroller because we have one daughter who is almost 4 and needs a seat at times, but loves her independence. We also have an almost 2 year old who needs to be strapped in. My oldest is able to walk by me until she is tired and simply take a seat when needed. My youngest is able to take a nap, have a snack and sit comfortably while out on walks or other outings. The stroller itself is extremely lightweight and folds flat easily. I love that you can also add another seat on the back (if needed) for kids who are even closer in age. The sleeve at the top of the stroller is perfect to keep your water, cell phone, keys and wallet near and within reach. The space under the seats will hold your diaper bag easily as well as well as any other items you may need with you. The shade coverage for both kids is huge for me. I love that we can be in direct sunlight and that my girls have enough shade and don't have to cover their faces. Overall this stroller is amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone with multiple kids. It is big enough for your needs but not obtrusive. Its a high quality product and the Joovy team clearly thought of everything that a parent and little one would need when creating this amazing stroller!

  • User recommendation for Joovy Caboose Too Ultralight as a good budget double stroller with compact fold but mediocre steering

I recommend the Joovy Caboose Too Ultralight. I was deciding between the City Select and this one. The City Select is nice but heavy and expensive. The Joovy is much lighter, folds smaller, and is half the price. It steers okay on smooth surfaces but don't expect to steer one-handed. The basket is small and hard to reach when the rear seat is on, but overall it's a great budget option.

  • Positive experiences with Joovy Caboose Too Ultralight for infant/toddler combo and travel

We have the Joovy Caboose Too Ultralight for our 3 yr old and 6 mo old. Love it! It's lightweight, easy to fold, stands when folded, and both kids are happy. We use the car seat adapter for the infant, and our toddler rides in the front or stands on the back. Great for travel—fits in the trunk of our sedan easily.

  • Joovy Caboose Ultralight advice with mixed feedback on steering and seat recline

I have the Joovy Caboose Ultralight (without the rear seat). It's great for my 2-year-old and newborn. It's light and easy to push on sidewalks and in stores. On grass or bumpy terrain it's a workout. The front seat can recline but then my toddler has to stand on the back platform. It's not perfect but works well for our needs.
