While many users recommend it for its ease of use, design, and value, safety concerns (tipping risk, lack of a 5-point harness) and stability issues lead to a mixed sentiment. Some parents had positive experiences, while others warned against it.

lowThe toy bar is difficult to attach and remove, causing frustration during regular use.

Community Q&A

Is the Baby Delight bouncer as good as the BabyBjörn?
For the price, yes – it performs similarly, though the BabyBjörn may last longer and feel more premium.
Is it safe for a baby to sleep in?
No, it is not intended for unsupervised sleep, and some parents experienced tipping hazards.
Does it help with reflux?
Some parents say it helps, but others report it actually worsened reflux due to the semi-reclined position.

Compared To

vs BabyBjörn Bouncer

The Baby Delight Highland is widely considered a more affordable alternative with similar aesthetics and functionality, but some users note the BabyBjörn is sturdier and better for reflux.

vs Fisher-Price Infant-to-Toddler Rocker

Users prefer the Baby Delight for younger infants and better design, but the Fisher-Price is often considered safer for older babies due to its higher weight limit and less tipping risk.

vs Maxi-Cosi Kori

Both are seen as similar affordable alternatives, though the Highland may have a relative edge in build quality.

  • Cost-effectiveness compared to BabyBjörn

We have the Baby Delight one and love it. I didn’t use it for my son but now with my daughter I use it multiple times a day. Took a bit for her to warm up to it but now she loves it. It also bounces when she kicks which she gets a kick out of (pun intended). Haha. IMO it’s just as good as the Baby Bjorn. The cover comes off easily and can be thrown in the wash. I also love that it folds flat! For literally half the price I think it’s a very solid option. My daughter is 100% for height and weight and still fits perfectly at 4 months old.

  • Safety concerns and customer service experience

I would contact Baby Delight ASAP. Tell them what happened and send them that video. See what they say before you do anything else... UPDATE: Baby Delight responded within an hour and apologized and asked for my shipping address to ship a new bouncer (different model without reported issues). So they did the right thing!

  • Direct comparison with BabyBjörn on features and reflux

It is just as good. I have the Baby Delight Highland model and my friend has the BabyBjorn one and they are almost identical. I would say the only difference is the weight limit... My reflux baby used to sit in it. It’s rated for 20lbs but I just used it until she outgrew it’s length.

  • Stability issues and mixed safety feedback

I had a Baby Delight but it’s very easy to tip! I would step over it, my foot would catch the metal leg, and forward it would go. It also has a 3 point harness that my son was able to wiggle out of fairly easily... I ended up tossing it.
