As a mom of five, I’ve installed more car seats than I can count, so I was really excited to test the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat with my 1-year-old. The smooth rotating design is definitely the highlight. When it works seamlessly, it truly changes my day-to-day routine. I’m not twisting my back trying to buckle in a wiggly toddler anymore, which is a huge win. The spin itself feels very smooth, and I love the auto-opening design, but I will say the one-handed lever can be a little finicky at the beginning because you have to get it just right to rotate. But over time once you figure it out, it becomes easier! I have always loved how easy and secure Britax makes installation. However, installation with this particular seat was a bit trickier than I anticipated. The auto-opening design and visual indicators are helpful and make the process feel more guided, which gave me reassurance that things were installed correctly. Even so, after carefully following the instructions, the seat felt slightly more wiggly against my leather seats than other seats I’ve used. Including a different britax model that my other kiddo is currently in. The recline adjustment also took some trial and error to figure out. Comfort is where this seat really shines though. The fabric feels soft and premium, and my little one seems very comfy and secure. She falls asleep easily in it, which tells me a lot as a mom. I also really love the overall look. The slim design is perfect for a bigger family needing space across the back seat, and the modern color gives it a sleek, premium feel without sacrificing comfort. Overall, it’s a stylish and comfortable rotating seat with a great space-saving design that does make everyday life easier. I have been waiting not so patiently for a car seat like this from Britax! I love their Clicktight system! First of all, the box of the car seat comes in it’s not bulky! I was so surprised how easy it would be to transport the car seat after purchase! This car seat is beautiful! I love that it came in a color that was modern and neutral so I could use it with any baby. It fits nicely in the car and doesn’t take up a lot of space. You could definitely fit two of these comfortably in a car or small SUV! The car seat is aesthetically pleasing and looks very comfortable. When I put my child in the car seat, she didn’t give as much resistance as she did in previous seats! She laid back and started touching the soft material. There have been less tears on car rides and I love how secure she seems in the seat. The rotating design was top tier! The car seat rotates like butter! It’s so smooth! Having this feature makes it super easy to get to my baby in any direction. It makes it very easy to put and take her out of the seat since it rotates. I am absolutely ecstatic that I will not have to uninstall and reinstall this car seat when my child becomes old enough to be forward facing! If all levels are correct, I can just rotate the seat and keep things moving! I do have some trouble with activating the rotate feature from the right side latch. At times, it takes some effort to unlock the rotation. It feels like I might break the latch when I am pulling it back. I love the auto-opening design as it makes it easy to access the installation mechanism. Britax seems to have thought of everything a parent might need when installing a car seat. I’m the parent that is always nervous to install the car seat but I felt very confident in attempting to install this one. All the instructions are clear and easy to follow. The visuals also make it easy to decipher. Overall, I would definitely recommend this car seat! It’s easy to install, my baby feels very comfortable in it, it’s beautiful to look at, and it can be used from infancy on up! The biggest selling point for me is that it can rotate 360! Everyone wants to sit in this car seat, and it’s our favorite from a parent perspective too! First off, it’s incredibly easy to install. The auto opening design makes it simple to get the seat installed correctly and safely. By far our easiest car seat we’ve ever installed! It is so quick to install we’ve used it in our mini van, and will switch it over to our SUV (because everyone wants this car seat). I also love this feature because it makes it easy to clean. I can quickly vacuum some crumbs from snacks, or easily retrieve a dropped toy. This car seat almost brought tears to my eyes due to the rotating feature. It has made life much easier. I go on daily outings with my kids, and it can be stressful getting everyone in and out of the car. Especially because they are all toddlers and need help getting buckled and unbuckled. I get concerned about safety in parking lots. This rotating capability allows me to get one of my kids in and out quickly. Truly a game changer for a mom specifically. I have definitely gone on more errands because this car seat makes transitioning in and out of the car easy. Also, the kids think it’s special and fun to be rotated around in the carseat. The design of the seat is slim. Making it great to get around while it’s in the bucket seat of my mini van. We also have moved the car seat to the SUV, and are able to have two other people sit next to the car seat when it’s installed in that vehicle. Although it has a slim design, the kids are incredibly comfortable. My twins under two and my four year old all want to sit in it. I can see my kids growing and still choosing to sit in this particular car seat. It holds their water bottles and snacks perfectly in the cupholders. The interior is very soft and breathable making them comfy. The kids are nice and secure too. It’s high quality and looks brand new even from all of the car trips we’ve already taken. I particularly like the tan color because it matches the interior of my car. It’s a classy and luxurious looking. Overall, it’s the best car seat we’ve ever had. I highly recommend it. Especially active families with multiples, or those that have a smaller space in their cars. Car seats are a must, and this one is the best you will find. It keeps your kiddos safe and is very helpful to parents. Do yourself a favor and buy this car seat! Your back and arms will thank you later!

After using the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat, I can honestly say the design has made a noticeable difference in our daily routine. The seat smoothly turns toward the door, which makes getting my infant out so much easier. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this car seat just in time to upgrade our 5 month old who absolutely hated being in his infant car seat. He seems much more comfortable in this seat than he was in his infant car seat. The safety belt is also extremely smooth loosen or tighten and makes strapping my baby in quick and easy. The cushioning is supportive but still plush and comfortable, and the deep side panels help keep him sitting securely without looking uncomfortable or cramped. Long car rides have been much more tolerable for both my baby and myself since he definitely seems to prefer this seat and extra space he has in it. Installation was surprisingly straightforward. I love the design of the seat and that it lifts for easy installation rather than having the base installed separately then fitting the seat back on the base like I have seen with other 360 models. There were clear visual indicators that gave me confidence that everything was positioned correctly during installation. You can see in the picture I took how the mechanism installed into the build of the seat helps make installation easy. This design does a great job of being both user friendly and still feeling extremely safe and solid. Speaking to the design of this seat, the rotating design is by far one of the best I have tried. As a mom of 2 under 2, with two cars and grandparents cars with car seats as well, I have seen and tried several 360 models and Britax Galaxy360 takes the cake for me. I will not be going back to any other car seat after trying this one these last couple weeks. I absolutely LOVE this car seat. This car seat is not only dependable, safe and easy to install it is also aesthetically pleasing. The slim profile is noticeable even in the photos. It doesn’t feel bulky like many other rotating car seats. We have this one installed behind the driver seat and it still leaves a good amount of space for the driver to adjust their seat comfortably. The beautiful neutral color and clean design make it blend with my car interior very nicely. I love the sleek cup holders that are also easy to remove to clean them once my little guy is big enough to use them. Another feature I played around with while examining the seat before installation was its ability to become taller on the headrest as your child grows. It was super easy to extend the seat to accommodate a bigger child if needed. We are currently only using it in rear facing with the infant cushions but can’t wait to use it to its full capabilities as our son grows with it. Overall, the Galaxy360 Slim combines convince, safety, and style in a way that genuinely improves everyday use for busy parents.

I kindly received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I installed this seat into my 2018 Chevy Tahoe LT in the drivers side back seat. First things first, I have 4 kids, tons of experience with car seats, and this is the EASIEST car seat I’ve ever installed! It took about 20 minutes, and I was able to do it myself without needing my husband help with the anchor strap. Now, let’s go back and start from the beginning. You’ll take this car seat out of the box and immediately notice how sturdy everything feels as a whole. It’s all one unit, and there is no part of this car seat that comes completely unattached from the base, which is awesome because it makes install a breeze. The material is so buttery soft. Cup holders come off and snap on so easily for quick clean up. Installation directions for the most part are very straight forward and easy to understand. I’ve never had a strap holder feature and I am in love with it! Makes putting my little one in the seat even quicker and easier. I really like the hydraulic arm lift and click in feature of this car seat. It feels right, and makes for a great install experience. The “red zone” for the anchoring step is an awesome way to know if you’re anchoring the base correctly. With this being said, the recline feature is not my favorite. I was confused as to how this was working because I did not realize the lever was pushing a lift at the bottom to adjust the reclining level. With my cars back seats, even at the lowest recline setting this seat is still very reclined. This brings me to how the seat fits in our car- it is a very reclined seat which does affect the rotation. While the rotation is VERY smooth, and the lever to rotate is well placed and easy to maneuver with one hand (while baby/toddler is in the other), the rotation ends up being too wide and bumps into the other child booster seats we have in the same back row. I can only rotate the seat maybe 25% before it bumps into the booster seat next to it and cannot rotate anymore (Pics included). I suspect this is because the base and seat are pretty low in height. This may not be an issue for everyone, but with us unfortunately it makes the rotate feature nearly impossible. I will try to move around other seats but I fear it may not work for us. The seat is also very deep, so this paired with the low reclining makes it a bit less ideal for putting heavier little ones in if you have a higher vehicle. Lifting toddler up and then into a deep seat, is less comfortable than being able to just lift toddler up and ON to the seat. Overall I rate this seat 4-4.5 stars. This is a great seat and the rotation is SO smooth. The installation is easy and fast. I felt pleasantly confident in my installation which I had never experienced with any other seats before. I think this rotation feature just might not fit very well in the back of my car with the other boosters we need right now, and will need for a while longer. If I could change anything about this seat to give it 5 stars would be a different recline feature or make it a bit more high in its height so it doesn’t rotate into the next seats area so much.

As a mom of 2, including a toddler, I know some things about a good product. Installing and reinstalling was very easy and intuitive. Like one-handed easy. Operating the rotation feature of the car seat was also very easy and is a game changer in making mom life a whole lot easier. I also appreciate other features such as a built in buckle holder on the exterior sides of the car seat to hold the straps out of the way as you put baby in the seat. You can adjust the height of the headrest and should straps without having to take the car seat a part. My toddler confirmed the Galaxy360 is a comfortable ride, which makes this car seat perfect for families who want the rotating feature, while also needing to save space in the back row without compromising safety.

I received the Britax Galaxy 360 Slim Rotating Car Seat as a free product to test from Stellar Panel. I have really liked it so far, we have been using it for about a week. Compared to our last rotating car seat, this one was much lighter and slimmer. It was also more straightforward in its installation. My favorite feature is the auto-open of the back area where the seatback locks into the seatbelt. It has little air compressed pumps that allow it to open smoothly and stay propped up while you buckle it in, way nicer and less wrestling of an installation process than my older one. It seems to rotate pretty smoothly, but not as smooth as butter. I’m curious to see how well the rotation works over time as my other seat got harder and harder to turn with time. I have been using it for my 4 year old, forward facing and he seems to really like it so far. He is comfortable in the seat and has already fallen asleep in it multiple times during longer rides. I anticipate I will sometimes use it for younger rear facing kids as well since we sometimes babysit little ones for the weekend. The seat looks great and functions well so far. I would recommend it, if a rotating seat is for sure what you want. Although I might still lean myself towards cheaper seats that are more simple, and don’t rotate, since there is less that can go wrong with them over time.

Immediately upon unboxing this gorgeous luxury carseat, I was pleasently surprised by its weight and sturdiness. This is a top notch quality seat. I installed it after playing with it for a moment because I just had to see what the hype is regarding the rotating seat. I GET it now. Convenience for mama at its best! I no longer have to dread lifting my baby sideways unnaturally out of the truck. Installation couldn't have been easier. There is nothing to it. Follow the belt path, pull it tight, close carseat down onto the body and that is it. I did not have to readjust, the seat did not budge. And I have to say I pulled the auto open lever several times just for fun. Very nice touch with the hydraulic lifts. I did use the recline feature to get it in the best position. Again, easy as chicken nuggets! My girl loved the seat and said she like the way it felt on her legs. I love that I feel she is as safe as she could be. Overall the design is lovely. I love the black on black soft fabric. I also love the inserts for littler ones. Everything I will ever need. And two up holders for all the treasures. I could very easily fit three of these seats in my truck. Overall, just a beauty of a carseat but more importantly solidly built, safe and easy to use. I received this seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but I am SO glad they sent us this seat. I have two under two so we are no strangers to car seats. Immediately my husband said installing was “so cool” and easy because of the auto opening design. Rotating it was very easy and you hear it click when it’s secured. My toddler has very long legs, and the pictures will speak for themselves. She previously used a lavender/pink girly seat, and when we put her in this one she was instantly thrilled and had no complaints or protests! Unlike her other seat, she was able to stretch her legs WAY out because it reclines so much better! She laughs and smiles and wiggles her stretched out toes all the time now! No more scrunched up legs! She refuses to go back to her previous seat! The fabric is SO soft, dries quickly, and keeps her from sweating. It’s very resistant to stains, too! I love how much cushion it has compared to others on the market. Having a rotating seat makes life so much easier when you don’t have a huge SUV. We actually have more space in the middle which is crazy because our toddler gets more room AND we get more room even with two car seats in the back! My 14 year old is super happy about that! My toddler has asked to go for a car ride every day since using the seat. On long trips she falls asleep and we don’t have to worry about her head or neck leaning forward because of how nicely it’s reclined back which is a huge plus! It’s super modern and we love the colors! The head rest is very stiff and doesn’t flop around like a lot of other seats. I feel like she’s very safe. The buckle is also very simple, and won’t break your nails trying to open (if you know you know). I really like the way they designed the chest buckle for this reason. I’m so happy she can still grow in this seat! We donated her other one and decided to keep this one indefinitely!!!

I am so disappointed in Britax for their poor customer service surrounding this car seat. Their measurements don’t truly display the fairly reclined depth of this car seat. I am needing to return this but have to pay $200 in shipping back to Britax because the measurement I needed wasn’t available on their website. The car seat looks nice but the recline doesn’t work for our family or our vehicles.

This seat is horrible. Terrible to install properly. The recline options are laughable. The spinning feature is horribly finicky and does not actually engage a majority of the time. I reached out to customer service to hopefully find a solution or, better yet, get a different seat (poplar or one4life), because we absolutely adore our other Britax seats we own (listed above) and they did nothing besides blame me when I provided videos and wanted me to take several other videos doing step by step what they said, when the videos already had me completing those steps. When I’ve already provided multiple videos, I do not have time to continue carting my kids down to my car to send them video after video. This interaction has confirmed I will never be supporting this company going forward. They know something is wrong with this seat based off the plethora of horrible reviews across the platforms they sell on, and aren’t willing to acknowledge it at all.

i bought this product about a month ago and so far it is fantastic! i really enjoy Britax products for my baby! it moves smoothly and the color is pleasant to the eye! i have had plenty comments on the products i have with them! i would only say i wish the car seat would have a lock for when trying to take child out sometimes it moves.

I bought and wanted to love so badly but had to return. The “recline” is to adjust the leveling for your car’s seat. There is actually no recline changing to the seat itself. For the ball to be in the leveling position the car seat is very reclined rear facing. Fine for a younger infant but my 2.5 year old is used to sitting much more upright in his poplar and immediately was fighting to sit up and couldn’t. It is impossible to install the seat correctly and have any semblance of a more upright position in rear facing. We also found it was going to start interfering with our front seat because again the headrest just goes out instead of up because it is so reclined. We are not tall so this would definitely be an issue for taller people. I hope they can iterated a v2 soon with recline. The install, fabrics, looks, swivel etc. all 5/5 but the rear facing functionality is a 0 after 9months for us.

I didn’t even open the box after purchasing after seeing so many videos online of the installation and its fixed recline which is such a complete design fail on the company. I went to return it yesterday and was charged a $160 for shipping return. This company is a scam, I would never purchase something from them again.

I got this installed today and the level mechanism means it has to be so reclined my baby is basically laying down. It also means the seat takes up way more room so my front seat has to be scooted far forward. Everything else is wonderful so I hate that one huge design flaw ruins it

This car seat is so awesome! I have a Toyota Sienna and a rear-facing 15 month old that just grew out of his infant car seat, so I was looking for something easy to use and most of all safe. I have two other kids in rotating seats made by another company, but this seat seems much safer and more comfortable than my existing car seats since the seat does not unhook from the base at all, it is one piece. There is a slight learning curve, but the rotation on this thing is so smooth and easy to do with one hand (and most of all, would be very difficult for another child to rotate the seat or accidentally unlock it on their own). You just make sure it’s turned all the way to the one side, push the button, and pull the handle and that’s it! Installing the seat was a breeze, I usually have my husband do the installing because it’s so hard to get car seats in snug, but I was able to do this all on my own! The indicators on the seat made me feel confident that everything was installed correctly. The seat opens up with a hydraulic lift so you can easily get under it for adjustments. My little guy looks so comfy in his new seat and the strap height is easily adjustable for him as he grows. I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the recline of the seat, but I personally didn’t need to for installation, but I could see how that may be a pain point for folks with newborns that need the recline to be at a certain angle. One thing I really love is the little slits to put the ends of the buckles in when you’re getting your little one situated in the seat so they’re not underneath them. I’ve been using the Britax Galaxy360 for a few weeks now and even though I received the product as part of the stellar product testing panel I will be purchasing a second one and spending the extra money for our other vehicle because it’s that good! The rotating feature has made such a difference in everyday life. I didn’t realize how much I was twisting and straining my back getting my toddler in and out until I had a seat that actually turns toward the door. Especially during rushed mornings or when he is tired and fighting naps, being able to swivel the seat toward me instead of climbing halfway into the car has been a lifesaver. The installation process was way easier than I expected too. I’m usually the type to uninstall and reinstall a car seat three times because I’m paranoid it’s not tight enough, but this one actually made me feel confident. The auto-opening design and indicators were super helpful and the ClickTight system made everything feel really secure without a lot of frustration. I had read some comments online saying it can feel bulky rear-facing, and I can understand that in a smaller car, but in my SUV it’s been completely manageable and worth it for the convenience. Notable as well is it’s honestly slimmer than others I’ve seen on the market and in friends cars. My son seems really comfortable in it, which is huge for me because he used to get fussy in the car pretty quickly. The padding is soft, the fabric feels breathable, and she just seems more relaxed overall on longer rides. I also like that the harness adjusts easily without me feeling like I’m wrestling with straps every time he has on a thicker outfit. And honestly, it just looks nice too. A lot of car seats feel super bulky or covered in loud baby patterns, but the Galaxy360 has a really clean, modern look that blends in with my car instead of taking over the whole backseat. The slimmer design also makes the space feel less cramped. Overall it just feels like Britax actually thought through the little everyday things parents deal with, and that’s what’s made me love it so much.

I’ve owned a few Britax car seats over the years, and honestly, this was probably one of the hardest ones for me to install at first. The written instructions just didn’t click for me, but thankfully Britax has YouTube installation videos that made the process way easier to follow. Once I got everything installed correctly though, it felt incredibly secure. I really liked the indicators that show when things are tightened properly because it gave me peace of mind that everything was locked in safely. The rotating feature is hands down my favorite part of this seat. I drive a large truck on 24-inch rims, so getting a baby in and out can be awkward and hard on your back. Being able to rotate the seat toward me makes a huge difference in day-to-day use and honestly makes loading the baby feel seamless. I also really appreciate the slim design. I have another Britax high-back booster on the opposite side of my backseat, and a full-size adult can still comfortably fit between the two seats, which is a huge plus for us. The color is neutral and modern, so it blends in nicely and doesn’t look bulky or overly “baby-ish.” The padding is also really well done. It’s soft and cozy without being overly stuffed or too bulky. My baby seems very comfortable and secure in it during rides. The only thing I wish it had was magnetic strap holders to keep the harness straps out of the way while putting the baby in. Right now there are small spots to tuck them into, which works fine, but magnets would’ve made it even easier. Overall, once installed, I’ve been really happy with it and the rotating feature alone has made everyday life so much easier.

This car seat is truly a perfect all in one seat that will flow your little one from birth until they’re ready for the booster. It has everything you would look for and hope for in a car seat, but the rotating feature of this seat gives it an edge over other seats! Thanks to Stellar Reviews for the car seat and opportunity to test out this seat in exchange for providing my honest thoughts regarding this car seat! After opening the box you will see the beautiful fabric on the seat that boasts being machine washable. Although we haven’t tested that feature out yet, based on our history with our other car seats it will definitely come in handy! If you know, you know! There are also multiple padding options that you can add in or take out, depending on the size of baby/toddler in the seat. But rest assured, your tiniest little one will be snug in this seat, whether they need padding all around, only on their head, or on the bottom of the seat. Installation of this seat was fairly run of the mill for the style of car seat. I wouldn’t say that it was easier or more difficult than others we’ve used. The manual takes you easily through the steps needed to install and then setup for how you plan to use the seat. The bonus of this one being, that it truly can be a one install for life with the rotating feature. Currently we are using this as a rear facing seat, but when the time comes to switch to forward facing, it will be a quick rotate using this seat’s easy rotation feature! The rotation feature of the seat is really nice and really handy! Currently we use this seat for our 1.5 year old, so it’s relatively easy to load in and out the traditional way, but even easier with the rotating feature. However, we have another little one on the way and I can see the rotation being incredibly useful for a newborn baby to be able to smoothly and easily load them in and out. If you have multiple seats, the slim design of this seat is clutch! We were able to install this 3-across in the backseat of our car along with two other slim design car seats. So, if space saving is something you’re looking for, this seat is comfortable for your little one, but will not take up the whole backseat of your car! If there is one thing I don’t absolutely love about the seat it would be that it sits a bit lower in the car than our other seats, which are a different brand. This is more of a personal preference to have a higher-sitting seat, but of course doesn’t impact safety or overall enjoyment of this product!! This seat seems secure, comfortable, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing. All things that we look for when purchasing car seats for our growing family. I’m thrilled to have this Britax Galaxy360 in our lineup and look forward to it holding up for years of use!

I have been very picky on the carseats I use with my kiddos and so I was optimistic but skeptical on trying a new one. But....the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat more than met anything I could have hoped for or wanted in a carseat. As a mom of multiple kids one of the biggest challenges when you have kids rear-facing in carseats is the older ones being able to get around the rear-facing carseat without having to climb over or under the seat. This carseat magically solves that! With a simple push of a button and pull of a lever the carseat spins smoothly and as quickly around as you would like. Installation was complete in less than 10 minutes with all of the helpful instructions, design, and indicators on the seat. There is no question in my mind that this seat is secure and installed correctly. Immediately when I took the seat out of the box and plastic wrap my toddler went "ohhhh" and ran to sit in it! I had to take him out so I could take the very comfy infant inserts off first. I then let him sit back in the seat and I was able to quickly adjust the height and straps to safe and comfortable settings. I have tried several seats with him and he normally fights us on getting or staying in any of them and he actually cried when we took him out of this one. I was shocked to say the least. The verdict for me on this one for comfortability and security gets very high ratings! I loved the soft black design and everything felt very nice. This is a great carseat and will get a lot of use in our family, I highly recommend it! This is on the higher end of a carseat budget for us, but definitely one I would have in the running! I'm a mom to 7 kids, soon to be 8 so I have used my fair share of car seats but I'm still always looking for the next best thing. This car seat definitely managed to impress me. The installation was incredibly user friendly. The indicators are clearly marked so it's not only physically easy to do but also helps you to feel confident that the seat is in properly and will be well secured for your child. It locks in tightly and can barely be shifted when trying to pull on it. The rotating feature is where this seat really shines in my opinion. It is obviously marked how to rotate it and the movement is so smooth I wouldn't have to think twice about turning it frequently for different sized kids or even rotating it to the side for easier access to load/unload my kid. The rear facing seat is approved for up to 50 pounds and 49 inches so you can safely have your child rear face for a very extended period of time and then you can still use the car seat in the forward facing position for much longer. This car seat will be all you need for a very extensive time period. The look of this car seat is fantastic, I usually stick with everything black but the teak color in this seat is so modern and sleek! I feel like it doesn't get quite as hot for my child also. The slim design is great especially for someone like me with so many young children in car seats and booster seats. I have no trouble fitting my other sons booster in the seat next to this and can still buckle him with ease. The comfort must be top notch. My 2 year old is obsessed with this new car seat and wants to sit in it whenever possible. He also falls asleep in it fairly regularly even on short drives which tells me he feels comfortable and secure. A few other features that I feel deserve a mention are the seat has 2 cupholders even with its slim design which I feel are vital for toddlers, the straps can be adjusted up and down with no rethreading, simply pull the lever and move them up and down, and the straps have convenient slots you can stick them in which keeps them perfectly out of the way while putting your child in. These are just a few things that show how well thought out the design of this car seat is. You won't be disappointed if you choose it for your child.

This Britax carseat was received as part if the Stellar Product Test Panel in exchange for my review. The Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat is the first Britax seat that we have used either any of our children and I can say there is a noticeable difference in product quality versus some other main brands. One area of this is in the seat cover material, as it is smooth and has a nearly silky texture. The second area that significantly stands out on this seat is in the mechanism for installation with a seat belt. Where other brands require partial disassembly, this Britax Galaxy360 simply releases forward to allow for easy install and removal. Reading other reviews, I noticed that space seemed to be an issue for other people in regard to the car seat fitting in their vehicle. I did notice that when positioned behind the driver it did require I sit closer to the steering wheel and we have a full size SUV. During this same product testing time frame we also had a car rental for a small SUV and it was nearly unusable, as the front seat had to move all the way forward. This would make the seat a problem for anyone with a sedan or small SUV. My favorite part of this seat was the mechanism to release rotation. There is a two step trigger to rotate the seat, preventing small children from being able to utilize the function, but allowing for quick and easy access for an adult or older children. All in all, we loved the seat and out toddler really seems to prefer it over their other car seat, however, this is definitely a seat that is constrained by vehicle size and type.

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We have been using the Britax Galaxy 360 for about four weeks now as our primary car seat, and it has been a complete game changer. It has significantly improved my child’s comfort while completely eliminating my back pain and the usual wrestling match with a stiff toddler during loading. ​In busy parking lots the 360 rotation feature is a total lifesaver. I can turn the seat sideways, allowing my 4 year old to easily climb between the seats from one side of the car to get to his own spot before I buckle my 1 year old. The rotation is incredibly smooth and locks into place with a very reassuring "click." My child's daycare teacher has helped put the kids into the car on several occasions now and each time she says "wow, this is just the best thing I've ever seen." and I can agree. ​Install was simple with the ClickTight system. It took only a few minutes from start to finish and doesn't budge at all. My husband was able to install it just as quickly using only my verbal instructions and the on seat visuals. ​I was a bit worried about the recline after reading other reviews, but it hasn't been an issue for my daughter at all. She actually naps better in this seat than in any other one we’ve owned! It is steep and can be intimidating. She was uncertain at first and so was I, but after I verified it could clear the front seat and she was comfortable, I forgot about the recline entirely. ​Visually, the car seat looks and feels luxurious. My only minor complaint is the weight. It’s quite heavy, and I definitely struggled a bit carrying it out to the car for the initial install. That said, the safety, comfort, and convenience make it worth every pound. Highly recommend!

The Britax Galaxy360 Slim is amazing, and I’m honestly so impressed with it! I drive a Toyota Prius C, which is super tiny car, and this seat fits great without feeling cramped. Installation felt extremely secure, which immediately eased my mind about safety, especially since this is a newer release. It feels solid and sturdy. Before this, I had a car seat that didn’t rotate, and it honestly stressed me out. I never felt like I could fully tighten the harness properly because I couldn’t turn my son toward me to get a good angle and pull the straps snug enough. It always felt awkward and a little scary, like I might not be getting him as secure as I should. The 360 rotation on this seat completely changed that. Being able to turn him toward me makes tightening the harness so much easier and gives me real confidence that he is safely secured. I got the tan version (I didn’t choose the color, but I really like it). It looks clean, modern, and high quality. It’s also very easy to use, and my baby seems comfortable and happy in it. The only downside I’ve noticed is with the harness straps after removing the newborn inserts since my son is bigger now. The cushion backing doesn’t stay completely flat, so the straps tend to slip and get pushed behind the padding. Almost every time I go to put my son in the seat, I have to pull the straps back out. When you’re holding your child one-handed, especially in a small car, this can be frustrating and inconvenient. I wish that section had Velcro, snaps, or some type of reinforcement to keep it flat so the straps stay where they should. It’s not a safety issue, just a daily convenience annoyance. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this seat, especially for small cars. The rotation feature alone has been a game changer for me. We’ve had the Britax Galaxy360 for a month and absolutely love it. As a parent who has a history of back pain, which has only become more of a challenge from carrying a growing toddler everywhere, having a rotating car seat has been a game-changer. I’m short and strapping my daughter into our previous car seat was never easy. There were days when I would dread the period before loading up the car knowing the battle that was awaiting me. Now, strapping her in is easy and doesn’t involve any tantrums! For me, I’m not walking away exhausted or dripping in sweat. On top of the massive assist from the swivel, I find it so easy to tighten and loosen the straps on this car seat. Another win is when we pull into tight parking spaces. I often find myself in a Target or mall parking lot where cars are crammed together and doors only open wide enough to shimmy out of. In these scenarios, being able to turn the seat is so much more helpful than I could have imagined. There is a decal on the side that reads “SwivelSmooth,” which rings true. The Britax turns and rotates like a breeze. Prior to getting it, one of my worries was whether I was going to end up with a giant and noisy piece of metal taking over my backseat. I find the Britax to be equally, if not more, compact than our previous seat. I can even use the swivel feature with one hand, which makes all the difference. In addition to ease of use, it makes managing toddler messes bearable. My daughter has never met a mess she can’t make, so much so, that in fours week, I’ve already had to wash the cover twice. I can toss it straight from the washing machine to the dryer (no hang dry required!). Even the cupholders are dishwasher safe. The Britax Galaxy 360 is even more aesthetically pleasing in person than in pictures. The Teak color way is a beautiful warm brown, which nicely compliments the black base. The fabric is soft and plush and my daughter hasn’t complained once about comfort while in it. I was beyond excited to try the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat that I received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. What I was most excited for was to move my daughter from her small infant seat to one with much more room for my growing girl but also one that would also be easier for me when I’m carrying numerous things. The Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat not only was a breeze to install, with the auto opening hinge and how easily it rotates to fit your baby’s needs (whether front or rear facing) but the different safety indicators tell you if the anchors are tight enough, puts you at ease. This was reassuring for someone who questions herself frequently when installing new seats. Another safety feature that I love and appreciate is being able to use the too anchor while the seat is rear facing! Something that truly matters to me is making sure my baby is comfortable in the seat. Not only could I tell right away that it would be comfortable for her by the softness of the material, the quality of the seat cushions, and the versatility of the cushion combination, allowing you to take out multiple cushions as your baby grows, but my 18 month old actually said “wow!” upon sitting in it for the first time. Another feature of the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat that is super helpful for on the go parents, is the rotating seat feature. It took me a moment to realize you need to press the button and then release the lever to rotate it, but it’s so easy to do with just one hand! The seatbelt is very long, which makes it easier to get your child in and out. So many other seats have shorter straps and it’s harder to get your child out once they’re a bit bigger. The only thing that is confusing to me is how my child is so reclined in this seat. I only looked into it once but I can’t seem to get her sitting more upright while rear facing. I’m pretty confident this is a user error and once my life is less hectic, I’ll figure that out too. I’ve used plenty of other seats over the years with my kids and so far, this is one of my favorites for these reasons: my child is super comfortable, even on longer drives, I’m confident in the safety features, and I love how easy the rotating seat feature is! I highly recommend the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat.

As a mom of three kids all still in car seats, longevity and the ability to grow with my children from infant to big kid is incredibly important to us. When we were given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, we were truly thrilled. Starting with design and first impressions, we really love the neutral color. We have an 18 month old daughter and a 2 1/2 year old son who could easily alternate using this seat, so the neutral design is very appealing. Materials are also extremely important to us, so knowing the fabric is made from soft, breathable materials that are naturally flame retardant without needing to add harmful chemicals is a major plus. We have not needed to wash the cover yet, but we appreciate that it is machine washable. Installation was not easier than other car seats we have used, but it also was not difficult. We would describe it as standard. We are used to seeing a different style of level indicator, while this one uses a ball, but it seemed to function well. The latch belt was plenty long and we didn’t have to fight to get it clipped, which is an issue we’ve experienced with other brands. One of our favorite features is that this seat can be used for both my rear facing daughter and my forward facing son and can be switched with the flip of a lever and push of a button, which can be done one handed. Switching between the two modes is simple. Adjusting the harness straps and headrest between my son and daughter was also quick and easy. The rotating design makes removing my child from the seat much more convenient because you can turn the seat toward you. We also appreciated learning that the rotation feature is built with a high strength steel ring, which gave us additional peace of mind. Our 18 month old daughter primarily uses this car seat and she seems very comfortable in it. The seat looks plush while still feeling safe and secure. Comfort combined with safety is very important to us, so this definitely adds to the positives. Our only real criticism is that while this car seat is marketed as slim, it is not slim enough to fully utilize the rotation feature in one of our vehicles where we have three car seats across in a single row. It fits in both forward and rear facing positions, but you lose the ability to rotate it. I think this seat would be best used in a vehicle with no more than two car seats per row or in a captain chair setup. For families needing three across in one row, I would recommend making sure you have a third row available before purchasing. Overall, we love almost all of the features of this car seat. The only limitation is space when trying to maximize the rotation feature. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants comfort, style, safety, and a great rotation feature and has the room to use it properly.

It took some getting used to with the straps, not as smooth as the other car seat. Once you’re used to it I loved the rotating feature. It makes a huge difference on getting your child in and out, my back loved it the most. Easy to install too.

We only have one car so this is not an issue for us - but it would be if we had to move it back and forth frequently. As for comfort, my little girl seems genuinely happy in it. She settles in easily and has even fallen asleep on longer drives, which didn’t always happen in her previous seat. The padding feels plush without being bulky, and the headrest adjustment seems simple which will be nice as she grows. The harness tightens smoothly without feeling stiff or difficult which was not the case with her previous seat. She seems both extremely comfortable and incredibly secure and that is exactly what I want with a car seat. Aesthetically, I love the look. It has a slim, modern profile that doesn’t overwhelm the back seat, and the color feels sleek and neutral without looking boring. I will say the rotating base does take up a bit more depth than some other more traditional compact models, but it isn’t a deal breaker for us because we just got a bigger car. Something to definitely consider though if you’re tight on space. Overall, this is a great seat with far more pros than there are cars. It really has been a very welcome addition to our vehicle.

My kids sit on a row seat, and as my toddler gets bigger, it is harder for her to crawl through the back to her seat (you know they have to crawl in on their own!). The auto-opening design and clear visual indicators made it foolproof—I felt 100% confident it was locked in safely without needing an engineering degree. I am quite literally blown away by everything that Britax does at this point and this is no exception. I received this seat to review maybe a week after trading in our former *other major brand* seats that no longer met the new side impact requirements and replaced them both with Britax clicktight seats, including the One4Life and Grow With Me. This seat is HIGH END. It feels like it is more than the price, the absolute EASE of the rotation is incredible…I mean you can do this with a baby in your arms. The clicktight installation is, in my opinion, the absolute best on the market. It is not only easy, but it is so secure. It reminds me so much of our now beloved One4Life, but with the added feature of rotation. Britax has some of the BEST extended rear facing limits on the market and this is no different, which is absolutely unheard of in a rotating car seat! The only reason I’d never tried a rotating seat before was the lower limits. Not with this seat! Extended rear facing capable, insanely easy (and tight) install, double cup holders that don’t move easily and are washable (a parent’s dream), sleek design and fabric pattern, super comfortable for the littles. The Britax Galaxy rotating car seat is an amazing car seat. I am a mom to a 15 month old girl. The rotating feature is super smooth and a game changer for putting your toddler in the car seat. I don’t have to fight with my daughter or break my back to get her buckled up safely. As a mom that plans to do extended rear facing this car seat rear faces up to 50 pounds which is awesome and the safest option for kiddos. Another thing I really love about this car seat is its ease of installation. The whole car seat lifts up and the belt patch is easily identified. Another aspect I really like is that there’s an indicator that shows you that the tether is properly tightened. I’ve installed many different car seats and this one has been the easiest to install by far. It helped me feel confident that my daughter is buckled up safely and that the car seat is secure. My daughter seems extremely comfortable in this seat. There’s lots of cushioning. I really liked that the infant insert goes up to 20 pounds. Most infant inserts I’ve experienced only go up to 10. My daughter isn’t quite 20 pounds. The Britax Galaxy is also really aesthetic and has a modern design to it. I really like the design of the trim. Its slim design helps it fit perfectly in my car. I was really pleasantly surprised by this car seat! First off, it looks amazing. The color is really nice, it has dual cupholders, and its nicely cushioned. That said, my absolute favorite part is the installation. There's nothing I dread more than having to wrestle a carseat into the car only to find out its still not tight enough and you have to do the whole thing over again. Britax's ClickTight system is a complete game changer. I was able to install the carseat in my van completely on my own, no husband or extra muscle needed. The gas stuts threw me off at first, but they were a nice addition so you're not having to fight to hold the seat up while threading the seatbelt through the belt path. Overall, this design was thoughtfully done so that moms can install the seat with ease by themselves, a feature I greatly appreciate. After installation, we got to check out how the rotating works. I honestly didnt expect to like it due to the button you have to push in conjunction with the pull handle, but they are placed so naturally your hand just kind of does it. I also like it as an added safety feature so my toddler isnt accidently rotating herself. I also really like how it "clicks" in the side position, that way the seat isnt trying to turn on me while Im trying to wrangle my toddler in. Once she was loaded up, she seemed pretty happy. There is plenty of cushion for the seat to be comfortable and the straps did not twist on me while tightening. The chest clip feels a little flimsy for my liking, but thats me nitpicking. The headrest was easy to adjust as well, and i appreciate that the shoulder straps adjust with it. We’ve owned several car seats over the years, and the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat is by far one of the best, safest, and most thoughtfully designed car seats I’ve ever used. One thing I highly recommend is taking the time to thoroughly read the instruction manual before installing it. If you do, the setup process is incredibly straightforward and the features really shine. I especially love that the installation process is the same for both rear-facing and forward-facing, which makes transitions so much easier and less confusing. The safety and installation features are outstanding. There’s a built-in indicator that clearly lets you know when the anchor strap is tightened enough, which gave me so much confidence during installation. There’s also an amazing lever underneath the seat that helps you easily level the car seat properly for safe installation. Everything about this seat feels premium and well engineered. The rotating feature is another huge win — you can rotate the seat easily with one hand, which makes getting baby in and out so much easier, especially in tighter spaces. What impressed me most is how secure this seat feels once installed. With other car seats I’ve owned, even after fighting with the seat belt, pulling it as tight as possible, and using the snug lock, there’s usually still a little wiggle. Not with this one. The seat belt installation is incredibly easy, and once secured, there is absolutely zero movement. It feels rock solid. I am completely in love with this car seat. Honestly, when I first opened the box, I thought it was going to be a little iffy just because of some random things I'd heard about them, but it has been quite the opposite. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review, and I am so glad I got to try it out. The install was quite literally probably the easiest car seat install I have ever done in my life. You just hook the anchor and pull it tight, then you pull the lever on the side of the seat and the seat portion flips up. From there, you just slide the seatbelt through, pull it tight, and flip the seat back down. Done. It literally took me less than 60 seconds to get a proper, rock-solid install. The multi-position recline on the base and the super clear level indicator made it so simple to get the seat sitting properly in the car. Even though it’s a more compact, slim-style seat, I love the fact that it allows for extended rear-facing up to 50 lbs, which is always a huge plus. The fabrics seem super soft, and my daughter seemed really comfortable riding in it. Another major win is the little slots where you can put the buckle clips to hold the straps to the side—there is seriously nothing worse than fighting straps while trying to get your kiddo into the seat. Plus, there are a ton of different height options and the no-rethread harness makes it incredibly easy to adjust as they grow. If I have to nitpick, I have two minor complaints. First, the recline of the actual seat when rear-facing is really great for small babies, but my little one got a little annoyed because it laid back so far for her size. Second, I’m not overly fond of the rotation mechanism; having to do two different things at the same time to get the seat to spin is kind of tedious. But honestly? Those are tiny things and definitely not enough to make me disappointed. I still absolutely love this seat and highly recommend it!

It is a total game changer and will not use a carseat without this feature again. No more awkward twisting or trying to buckle in a wiggly toddler at a strange angle. I just rotate the seat toward the door, get my toddler comfortably strapped in, and swivel it back into place. It turns smoothly and locks securely with the unique button and pull-tab, which gives me peace of mind.Installation was a bit of a mixed experience. The manual was honestly not great. The pictures were tiny and the instructions were harder to follow than they needed to be. The color-coded diagrams are excellent if they weren't so tiny. But once I got past that, the actual install and adjustments were surprisingly simple. Most modern cars come with special buckles just for car seats to clip into. This car seat does not have this option and only the seat belt can be used. The seat belt is more versatile for installation but my preference is always to use the special seat clips when I can. For the initial install, I activated the auto-opening seat, threaded the seat belt through the belt path, buckled it, and clicked it closed. I really appreciated not having to deal with a separate base like many other car seats. It felt secure and solid once installed. Adjusting the seat to the child is simple. The seat came with a newborn insert that came out in a few seconds. After that I adjusted the seat for my toddler. Compared to other car seats, the positioning of the shoulder straps and headrest is the best I've experienced. The buckle part can be moved without too much trouble. It’s definitely heavy-duty, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you need to switch it between cars often. But it’s impressively slim for such a sturdy seat. Since we have two car seats in the back, the slim design makes a huge difference while still giving my toddler plenty of room to grow. And one unexpected bonus? On a hot day, the fabric and plastic weren’t hot at all. I could put my baby in right away without waiting for the seat to cool down. Aside from the confusing manual, this seat has been a fantastic upgrade for our family!

I got the black color, and I absolutely love it! The material has a really nice design to it that makes the car seat look very elegant and high-end. It doesn’t just look like a basic car seat—it actually looks very stylish in my vehicle. I also really like the slim design because it doesn’t feel bulky or take up unnecessary space, which is a huge plus for families with multiple kids. One of my favorite features is definitely the smooth rotating/swivel option. None of my current car seats have that feature, and with me currently expecting, it has made such a huge difference in my day-to-day routine already. It allows me to easily get my little one in and out of the car without twisting, reaching, or worrying about hurting myself trying to maneuver around a traditional car seat. I want to start off by saying I’m a big rotating car seat fan so I was super excited about this car seat. There are a lot of great things about the car seat but there also some things that are not so great. The good: it looks and feels very plush and comfortable. The fabric is soft and breathable. It feels super sturdy and well made. I have another Britax seat and do think that the Click Tight Feature helps make the install a lot easier (although my husband and I did get into a fight while trying to install this car seat lol). My baby is a small 1 year old and I feel like he has more than enough room and is super comfortable. This car seat also feels really safe. I am not scared about the quality or feel like something is going to suddenly break. The rotating feature works really well on this car seat! I have 2 other rotating car seats and this one is one of the smoothest and easiest to turn. With a normal car seat, it is such a battle getting my baby in and out of my husband’s truck everyday. Rotating the seat really changes EVERYTHING and makes life so much easier. I will never go back. It has made our morning routine so much easier. Okay now for the not-so-great: the recline. I literally cannot figure it out. I watched videos online, read the manual 5 times. But I still have no idea how to fix this problem. My baby is tipped soooo far back. We drive a lot in the car and he isn’t really picky so it’s not really a huge issue. I think it actually makes it easier for car naps. But I am a tad bit worried that as he gets older, he won’t like being almost laying down in the car. I don’t think it will be an issue when we move to forward facing but if your baby is picky, I would take this into consideration. Another thing we struggled with was the install. I don’t know if it was because we were trying to fix the recline problem and got distracted but it took a lot longer than usual. It wasn’t that it was super complicated but it was hard to get everything just right. The seatbelt kept getting twisted and was hard to close. This could just be user error but we have another britax seat with click-tight that we have had no problem with! We are first time parents though haha. I did the love the auto-opening feature though! Overall, it is a really great and safe option for a rotating car seat as long as your baby isn’t super picky about the recline. It looks really sleek and I love how modern the black color looks. The Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat is a premium car seat with specialty features that could make some car seat situations much more convenient! For context, I have 3 kids in car seats and tested the car seat in a full sized SUV which is my primary car for transporting kids. First, the installation of this seat is very simple. While the seat is heavy to load in and out of the car, the Click Tight installation is very simple and gives you a tight installation without significant effort or pressure. When lifting up the seat to install with Click Tight, it has a very helpful auto open and kickstand (called “Quickstand”) feature to keep the seat out of your way while attaching the belts. One thing that I do not like about the installation is the recline feature. I attempted to set it to the least reclined position possible for my rear facing 3 year old and he is still at too recline for his age and comfort. While riding he asked me to unbuckle him so he could sit up. I have chosen to keep him rear facing at age 3 so this may not be an issue for younger rear facing riders or forward facing riders but this would not be my best car seat pick for older rear facing riders. The swivel feature is very neat and an exciting new feature! It rotates incredibly smoothly and easy to do with one hand. The rotating feature is incredibly helpful in gaining access to the 3rd row seats. If you have a rear facing child and need 3rd row access, it is easy to rotate the seat forward facing to allow other passengers to enter or to use your car seat tilt and then to rotate the seat back to rear facing for your child to ride. My 7 year old was able to load backpack and sports gear in the car with much more ease with the seat forward facing than his usual attempt at climbing under the rear facing seat! Additionally, I think this seat would be great in a grandparent’s car that transports different kids at different car seat stages. For example, my mom could easily transport my rear facing 3 year old and the next day, just rotate the seat and adjust the shoulder straps to accommodate my forward facing 5 years without reinstalling the seat. This seat feels very high quality and made with premium materials and thoughtful engineering. It is a slim design so the seat next to the car seat can still be used. I received the dark gray seat which is very modern and will certainly hide any staining. Overall, this is a very high end seat and if other passengers gaining access to the car past the car seat is an issue for you, this seat may be your answer! I received the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I couldn't be more grateful, as it has become our favorite car seat of all time! This car seat has made it so much easier to get our rear-facing 2-year-old into his car seat. It is so convenient to be able to load the child directly facing you, and then with one quick, smooth motion, rotate him to his secure rear-facing position. Talk about a time saver and a back saver! As a physical therapist, and a petite mother, I appreciate the ability to use good biomechanics to lift and place my child in his car seat without having to twist and strain as I would with a traditional rear-facing car seat. Furthermore, the rotating design allows our 4-year-old to enter our van through the same door I am putting our 2-year-old in through and walk across the aisle to his seat for increased safety when out and about. That is not possible with a standard rear-facing seat! Installing the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat was a fairly simple process as well, and I was able to do it all on my own. The auto-opening design and the indicators (recline lever, recline bubble, belt path, etc.) made the process straight-forward and easy to accomplish. I was grateful for the tip in the instruction manual that stated if there was difficulty closing the ClickTight, it may mean there was too much slack removed from the vehicle belt in the belt path, as this was the only "issue" I encountered during installation, and was able to quickly resolve it by this text. The best part is that once my child is ready to be forward-facing, we will not have to re-install the car seat! Rather, we will just swivel it to the forward-facing position instead of the rear-facing position. Not only is the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat a win for parents, but it is a win for the child as well! My child appears very secure and comfortable in this car seat. In fact, he even told me, "Mommy, I like my new seat!" I have seen some others complain about the amount of recline this car seat requires; however, it has not been an issue for us at all. My 2-year-old loves the seat, appears more comfortable than he was in his last seat, and has fallen asleep in it on car rides. There are 3 removable infant inserts that make it secure and cozy for smaller children as well. I love the look of the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat as well. It is sleek, has a modern design, and the Raven Black color we were provided with coordinates with our van interior and other car seat as well. I also appreciate that the fabric is all washable and is naturally flame-retardant without harsh chemicals! Because this car seat features a slim design, we will be able to fit 3 car seats across when our next little one arrives in just a few short weeks. I cannot think of any negatives for this car seat, as it is definitely our favorite car seat to date, and if we need to purchase another in the future, this one will be my choice!

It is smooth, easy, and it makes getting Luna in and out so much simpler! It works rear-facing and forward-facing, which is a great long-term value. Luna (2yo) is comfortable in it, and the color and slim design are beautiful. That said, installation was a real struggle. We drive a Subaru Ascent with captain seats, and the incline made positioning the base much harder than expected. The manual needs more detailed guidance for this, a video link would go a long way. The harness is also stiff to tighten at first, but it gets easier with time. The fabric is beautiful and soft, and despite the install challenges, we’re keeping it as our main car seat!

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel so with that being said my honest review is this car seat is every bit of AMAZING! The Galaxy 360 has been a life savor getting my toddler in and out of the vehicle. The fabric quality is top notch, it feels extremely luxurious but also tough enough to handle a messy toddler on a 10+ hour road trip. The width is so slim that 2 adults can fit on either side of the car seat and not feel packed in the backseat. The turning feature is so smooth and just glides like butter, I love that it locks even in the sideways position so that the seat isn’t moving around while I’m trying to get my wild toddler in the seat. My only complaint or heads up would be is that it is quite large front to back when rear facing, so the front seats will need to be a good bit up. It is 29 inches from the base to the top of the seat.

The Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat is a good car seat, but not my favorite. This was our first time trying a rotating car seat after receiving it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. While the rotating feature is convenient, I think it is also the feature that plays into the reasons I didn’t like some parts of this car seat. Compared to our other car seats, both luxury and budget, this was the closest to the seat in front of it. We needed to move the passenger seat up to fit the car seat properly. This is seemingly because of the rotating feature. The rotating feature also seemed to make install a bit more difficult to figure out for a rear facing child. That said, it is much easier on my back than our other car seats which is a huge pro for me. My daughter didn’t seem to like how reclined the seat was compared to sitting up straighter in other seats. When trying to recline, it only made the seat flatter. I do appreciate the fabric and feel of the car seat a lot. It feels very high quality and my daughter seems to like the padding in it. Overall, this car seat could be the right fit for some people. I would recommend it to people who have enough room for it and highly prioritize having the rotating feature.

My favorite feature by far was the smooth rotating design. It made getting my toddler in and out of the car so much easier, especially during busy mornings and quick errands. There are absolutely some modern baby products that feel a bit gimmicky, but in my opinion a rotating car seat is not one of them. Rotating car seats have been a must for us in the toddler stage we're currently in. The rotating feature makes gettting her in and out much smoother and less of a wrestling match. My husband handled the installation and said it was pretty straightforward and easy to figure out. He had it unloaded, installed, and safety-checked pretty quick. We've been using this car seat most often when my mom visits, so it's nice having something easy to pop in and out of her car when she comes. A few other notes from my husband: - The car seat is very cozy and seems like good material, and the structure felt very safe for our toddler! The newborn inserts are very easy to remove or install as well. - The installation for this seat using a seat belt was very easy, but the anchor system that I typically use with other car seats did not seem as intuitive or user friendly. The seat is super secure with the seat belt method and really locks into place, so I was not opposed to using this method and it is nice it has two solid options. - The last note from him was the incline seemed a bit harder to adjust for rear facing in our car. I am not sure if this is specifically with the seat belt method, but I was struggling to make it a more upright angle. All in all, I really like the seat and it worked great for our little girl. As for comfort, our daughter seems pretty happy in it so far. We've really mostly used it for shorter trips around town, but she seems comfortable enough and nice and snug so no issues there.

It definitely looks like a high end car seat with the black and grey plush seat cover. This seat came with multiple inserts that could be added for additional safety and comfort based upon your child’s age. I also liked the slim profile and how little room the base takes up on the seat. The car seat install was overall pretty straightforward and easy, but it does require the use of both the lower anchors and the tether anchor, which made it take a bit longer. However, the auto opening design of the seat and the indicators helped greatly with the lower anchor install. After installing the seat, we ran into the issue where the rear facing seat takes up a great deal of room. I have a Toyota Sienna and when I drive the van, there’s no issue with this rear facing seat, but when my 6 foot 2 inch husband does so, the seat is in the way of the driver’s seat moving backwards in order to give him comfortable leg room. This seat has an extreme recline and lays really far back when it’s in the rear facing position. My one year old sits comfortably in the seat, but my three year old hates it because she’s laying back so far. The harness also fits my children in a really odd way. It’s really tight on their shoulders and around their legs, but there’s a gap between their stomach and the straps which I don’t like at all (see the second photo). The rotating mechanism is a fantastic feature, when it works the first time. One third of the time, the seat gets stuck when trying to rotate it from rear facing to forward facing and it takes both hands to slam the seat past the back rest. While I don’t love that the rotating feature often gets stuck, this will be the seat kept in my husband’s SUV since it can be used both rear facing for our 3 and 1 year olds or forward facing for our 5 year old.

As the youngest of four kids, my toddler is in and out of his seat quite often and this seat has turned buckling my bucking bronco (toddler) into a breeze. Previously, I was balancing on the floor board to lean over to get him buckled, as he was using all of his strength to avoid getting buckled. Thus, I would get a workout just trying to get him in his rear facing car seat! With the Britax Galaxy 360, he doesn’t even throw a fit; it has been truly magical!! I am able to rotate the seat out, buckle him while he is facing me, and then just simply turn him back around. He loves it, and actually seems quite comfortable, and secure in this seat! Another perk I didn’t foresee is how simple it is for my big kids to get into the back row now. Rotating the car seat gives them so much extra room to navigate around the toddler when they are entering the car. Another huge win! The auto-opening design and indicators on the side of the seat made installation simple. I am a fanatic about car seat safety and am always triple checking the settings to be sure it is correctly installed- that aspect was so simple with this seat. When it the seat snaps down, it ensures the seat belt is snug and the seat is wiggle proof. There is also an easily visible level to ensure it’s at the right angle. There was a slight learning curve for me on the install as I have an always had adjustable recline car seat. This seat does not recline, so once I realized I didn’t have to worry about that setting, installation was smooth as could be! Not only would I buy this seat for how functional it is, but it also looks beautiful. I love the light tan color that matches my vehicle’s interior, as well as the modern colored logo. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As a mom of 3, I have had my fair share of car seat experiences. From infant buckets to convertibles to boosters, I know my way around latch, front and rear facing and tightening straps and tethers. I had never tried a rotating seat. When the opportunity arose and for my one year old to try one, I was very interested. The seat provides an excellent advantage that stationary seats do not. It can be rear or front facing without reinstallation. And that? That is amazing. The Britax is well-built, it has a quality about it from installation mechanisms to comfort, I love the way this thing is made. We feel it’s a secure and safe option with convenience and innovation that parents desperately crave. The flexibility is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. I can put my one year old and my 4 year old in the same seat with little adjustment needed. That means if family wanted to buy one seat and change the orientation based on which child they’re transporting it would be a breeze! The swivel mechanism is built like other car seat parts. It’s a bit restrictive as not to be too easy for children to unlatch. You have to really intentionally depress the release button for the pull latch to open and the seat to move. It’s the same amount of rigor you have to apply to a safety belt release on a standard car seat buckle. The install went smoothly with clear guide paths for the seat belt and an excellent build to ensure access to the areas you need to secure around. The cushions are plush and supportive up to 22lb for infants. My kid is much happier in it than he was in his old seat. The swivel makes it so much easier, and dare I say fun, to put a baby in the car. He gets to look at me face to face as I buckle and make sure he’s secure and properly restrained. It’s reclined enough to be comfortable without any noticeable difference from us on seat clearance. Ultimately, we are very happy to own this seat and I would recommend it to parents interested in lightening the burden of car seat practicality for small kids or parents of multiples who want flexibility in a seat.

The Britax Galaxy 360 Slim Rotating Car Seat has a smooth rotation with an accessible seat design that makes it easy to use on either side of the car. Its a convertible car seat, it comes with all the necessary padding to fit a newborn onward as they grow. The difference between a fixed car seat and a rotating car seat makes a huge difference in your day to day life. Especially as your child gets bigger over time and lifting them in and out of the car seat gets more tricky. In order to operate the chairs 360 rotation it has a locking button that you have to press down and a latch you have to lift simultaneously in order to swivel the chair. It takes a moment to understand that its a two button/latch release mechanism but it provides added safety for your child. The car seat has notches on both arm rests to tuck the metal seat belt tips into and out of the way while you put your baby in the seat. It keeps them untwisted, untangled and out of the way. Which is a handy feature for anyone who has experienced the trouble of trying to get the seat belt straps out from under a wiggling child. Installing the seat was relatively simple and straight forward, with the top strap hooking up over the cars seat and the cars seat belt lacing through the back of the Galaxy360, locking it into place. Installation took less than 10 minutes. It does help to look at the manual, it has good visual instructions. It has a simple height adjustment lever at the top of the carseat, lift to increase or decrease the height of the seat. Our 11 month old has been happy in the Galaxy360, its a plush well padded car seat, the seat belt adjustment was not difficult and he is quite secure. The chest clip sits at armpit level and we have it adjusted so their is no pinchable slack in the chest belts. He must be comfortable, as he falls asleep in the car seat regularly when we are out running errands. Britax makes a quality carseat, it looks modern and fresh and the heather black color scheme we received would match any car interior. Thanks to well designed liners the seat cover can be removed and cleaned without much trouble. We also love the two cup holders on each side. Very useful for holding snacks, drinks and little treasures. I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I love this carseat and so does my little! She's always been particular about her carseats and she seems to really like this one! Installation was so easy and I love the 360 rotate feature. When the time comes to switch her forward I can just turn the seat! It fits perfectly in the back seat and its narrow enough that my other kids arent cramped. First off, installation was a breeze! Far easier than I anticipated. My experience with my newborn in this car seat was overall nice - he seemed comfortable and very secure, but I did not like the angle he sat in. I learned that jiggling the seat while pressing the button often gets it to work, but at this price point I feel like it shouldn’t need that workaround. Overall I am super happy with my experience using this car seat! My back is a lot happier not having to finagle a toddler into the seat. My first impression of the car seat was that it looked very nice, and the fabric both felt and appeared to be high quality. I received this car seat in the Raven Black, and it looked very clean and modern in design. The car seat was incredibly easy to install, and the instructions were simple to follow. I had it installed within five minutes. The fabric is well-cushioned and seems very comfortable for my toddler. She especially enjoys having two cupholders, one for snacks and one for drinks.The headrest is nicely cushioned and very easy to adjust. I was initially worried the seat might be a bit too reclined for her, but she actually seemed very happy in it, even though it’s not much more reclined than many other convertible car seats. This is unusual for my toddler, since she typically dislikes car seats and often throws tantrums when I buckle her in. For some reason she didn't put up any fight getting into this seat! That's a big win right there.The rotating feature made it super easy to get her in and out of the seat. Being pregnant, I especially appreciate not having to lean over the car seat and struggle to buckle her in. The only thing I would change is the unlock lever used to rotate the seat. The Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat is loved by all in our house. From the moment we opened the box, both of our girls wanted to be in it all the time. Our 20 month old has never been a fan of the car seat, but she loved hanging out in this one while it waited to be installed in the car. In the vehicle, she is still just as much a fan of the car seat. We intended to try the car seat out in the forward facing configuration with our 4 year old, but we quickly realized that our littlest would not happily give it up. She is getting quite big, so the rotating feature on the car seat has made getting her all buckled into much easier. Rotation is smooth and easy to activate, yet the seat feels stable and secure when locked into position. Installation was pretty quick as well, though there is a learning curve. I was able to figure it out in about 15 minutes. The seat itself is also quite attractive. The frame and base are sleek and smooth, wrapping around a plush seat. It looks really sharp, and we are thrilled that the black fabric always leaves the seat looking clean despite messy hands and muddy feet find their way into the seat. The only thing I didn't love about the seat is that it is quite heavy. This is definitely a car seat to stay in the vehicle, not for swapping between cars. With that in mind, this is a great car seat that we expect to get a lot of use from. We love that our 20 month old can enjoy the rear facing configuration now and switch to forward facing in a few years. I've been doing this parenting thing for 13 years now and have wrestled with so many different car seats through that time. Having the experience I have, it really means something for me to say that the advancements in the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Car Seat are incredible! When I was generously offered this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel to try out and review, I wondered at first if my daughter was too old at 2 to benefit from the smooth rotating design. She wasn't. It's use exceeded my expectations. I never realized how much easier it would be to get a child in and out while they are facing you until I actually started doing it. In addition, this design makes it easy for me to provide transportation for my friend's child when she visits and I need to switch between rear-facing and forward-facing children using the seat. I can imagine this would be a life changing feature for many grandparents or caregivers out there! I definitely read the whole manual before installing the seat because it is designed a bit differently than other car seats but it was also easily the easiest and fastest I've ever installed once I tried it. I actually read the manual again when I was done because it was so easy that I was afraid I had missed a step. It really was that easy! I also appreciated that the indicators on the sides gave me confidence that the seat was secure. The auto-opening feature to open the base up and the clicklock feature when closing it to tighten the strap were two of my favorite aspects of the design; I am ecstatic to get to skip the step of wrestling with a seat to get it installed. Within minutes, my daughter was safe and secure in her new seat and loving it. And, while safety is my primary concern when I choose a car seat, I was loving how the modern design and neutral color blend in with the car. My car still has a bit of room but space is getting tight between the back of the rear- facing car seat and the front seat of the car since my toddler is getting taller. Tall drivers may want to plan accordingly when deciding which side to install the car seat when installing it for an toddler before they are old enough to forward-face. If you've been seriously researching convertible car seats you've probably seen a lot lately about this seat. And I just wanna say, please make sure you're listening to all sides because this is truly a terrific seat! Not only do the hubs and I love it, but our baby does too. He's truly comfortable in here and I have peace of mind knowing he's safe. It was super easy to install and Britax gave me full confidence my seat was in correctly and TIGHT with their ClickTight installation system. The belt path is OPEN and EASY TO ACCESS on this baby! I knew I wanted a rotating seat after getting spoiled with one during the infant seat days and i am not disappointed with this! So easy to get my guy in and out and he's thrilled to get in and GO now that he's so comfortable. The button and latch is easy for me, not easy for him if he were to mess with it. I love that I can put him in forward facing, then just swing him rear. I'm also obsessed with the 50 lb rear racing limit, because I'm a safety freak when it comes to the car and yes, I'm that mom that will have a 4 year old facing rear with 0 shame if they haven't maxed the limit yet. During my research I only found 2 other seats that rotate and also hold 50 pounds rear facing and I truly couldn't have gotten a better seat for our family in my opinion. Speaking of the rotation, wanted to note, it's VERY smooth, so if that is something you were wondering or concerned about, no need to be- it crossed my mind as well, but it is smoother even than rotating his infant seat was and I never would've thought I'd be saying that! Also want to say, the swivel works by utilizing a steel ring and it makes me feel like that's a bonus safety wise as well. I try to avoid food and drinks other than water in the car but I'm human and it happens so the fact I can easily remove the cover and pads to machine wash them. This is something so underrated and underappreciated that means so much. For all of this, the seat is rather compact but doesn't make up for it by compromising any comfort or safety or parent time saving features. And I LOVE that. With 6 kids, space is at a premium and this seat saves me a little space and sanity without passing the buck onto baby. When they say slim, they mean it. The install... The safety... The comfort... The whole seat. Chefs kiss. This seat has made me 100% a Britax girl. I'm a believer. I just installed it a few days ago and I’m a little disappointed. There is no real recline on the seat, the recline button just adjust the car seat to fit better on the seat. It doesn’t change the angle at all. It’s very long front to back which I see being a problem for a lot of cars. I had to scoot the seat the car seat is installed on as far back as it could go just so I could have room driving. I don’t think it’s going to work when my husband drives my car. Also there is no secondary safety latch on the mechanism that pops the seat forward off the base. So a sibling could potentially pull that lever and now your child is no longer secure. Love that it’s very easy to install with the click tight. It also has lower anchors that is nice to have that option. Also nice that they added a little slot on each side for the crotch belt to stick into when loading baby. I saw something that britax waited to come out with their rotating seat to make sure they made the best and I feel like they could have done much better.

If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. I drive a Kia Sorento. Plenty of space for a car seat. Unless it's the Britax Galaxy360 Slim Rotating Seat. If you plan to never have a front seat passenger ever again, then sure, purchase this car seat. The recline is extremely laid back, with no functionality in the seat to adjust. Picture your 45 pound 5 year old laying completely down staring at your ceiling, because that's what this seat will get you. I truly don't understand how people are fitting this thing in their car (safely). What's worse, the return policy states that they will not incur shipping costs. So be prepared to spend $178 (yes, you heard that right) $178 when you inevitably have to return the seat. Customer service is extremely unhelpful. They'll try to give you some tips on how to fit a square peg in a round hole. Spoiler alert—they won't work. How this recline with no adjust ever passed internal checks is beyond me. Unfortunately, after my experience returning this seat, I will never purchase from Britax again.

The no-rethread harness makes switching between kids simple, and they both love being buckled in while parent-facing vs. being tucked into a traditional rear-facing seat. Design-wise, Britax truly thought through every detail. The space-saving slim profile seat has a modern design. We live in a hot climate, so I especially love the the plush, luxurious fabrics that are flame retardant-free fabric in the light neutral Teak colorway. My toddlers are big fans of the double cupholders to store their drinks and snacks. Another great feature are the buckle holders that keep the straps out of the way and from getting twisted while getting kids in and out of the seat. Starting with the positives - I love the rotating aspect of this carseat! It is so useful and makes putting my little one in and out of the seat so much easier. I love that there is a little area to tuck the belt clips into so the harness stays out from behind my little one, too. My little one hasn't used them, yet, but I think having two cup holders will be great for him. The fabric feels nice and I like that the headrest is very adjustable. With that said, I did have some challenges with adjustment and installation. **Major caveat to this statement, though - this could be just a result of my inexperience with a convertible carseat as we have only used an infant carseat so far. Here are some of the problems I had: - The crotch strap is supposed to be adjustable (there are 3 separate slots for it to go into). The first problem I had was just figuring out how to remove and replace the cover. The manual sort of said how to do it but it was not easy and I'm not 100% sure I even reinstalled it properly. After I got the cover off, no matter how hard I tried, I could not get the crotch strap into a different slot. - Getting the recline indicator ball into the clear part of the level window was really hard for me for some reason. It took quite a bit of finangling to actually get the ball in the clear area. Though, this could be because of the type of car I have or maybe just my inexperience. I also thought the recline lever/feature would automatically "pump" the seat up but you have to actually lift the seat to extend the recliner under the seat while pulling the lever if that makes sense. - When the seat is rear facing, I have to move the front seat up a lot despite having a Ford Explorer. This could be how it is with most carseats, though, and something I'm just not familiar with. - Getting the seat to turn - I pushed the button in, pulled the lever, and nothing happened. Did this again and again on both sides and had no luck. Finally, I figured out you have to push the button until you feel like a click and then it will work. I appreciate they want it to not turn accidentally but it just took a bit of playing with it to figure it out.Overall, I really enjoyed this seat once I got some of the little minutiae figured out. Again, maybe the problems I encountered are from my lack of experience with convertible seats or missing something in the manual (which I read pretty thoroughly before I even started playing with the seat) but it's hard for me to tell. This car seat is extremely heavy, and as a smaller first time mom, I personally struggled getting it installed into my vehicle by myself. I actually had to wait for my husband to come home from work to help me get it into the car. Because of that, I would not recommend it for someone who plans to move their car seat between vehicles often. We will most likely end up getting a separate seat for my husband’s car because the weight and installation process make it something I would not want to move back and forth regularly. That being said, once it’s installed, it feels incredibly sturdy and secure. Overall, this has been a really great transition from our infant seat while still keeping the rotating feature I loved so much.
