I bought this swing for my 2-month-old. The USB plug is very convenient and it's super light to move around. It swings in multiple directions which is great. But after 2 months the motor started making clicking sounds and sometimes it stops swinging unless I push it. The toy bar is also loose and fell off a few times. For the price it's okay, but I'm disappointed with the quality.

Recommendation with comparison to other swings
We have the Ingenuity SimpleComfort and it's been decent for the price. I like that it plugs in and the different swing directions. It's compact and fits in our small living room. But if I could go back I'd probably get the Fisher Price Snugapuppy because I've heard it's more reliable. The Ingenuity is fine, not amazing. It helped a little with fussiness but not a miracle worker.

Frustration with faulty motor and poor customer support
I thought I was a fool because my swing stopped working after 6 weeks. The motor quit – lights come on but no movement. I tried everything, even called customer service and they were no help. My baby has reflux and I really needed this to work. Super disappointed. I wish I had bought the Mamaroo or even a cheaper bounce chair.

Brief mention as a budget option among other swings
I've seen the Ingenuity SimpleComfort at Target and it looks cute. A friend had one and said it was fine but didn't last long. If you're on a budget it's worth considering but maybe not for a reflux baby. I went with a used Snugapuppy instead.
