Harness tightening is a common pain point
We have this seat. I wanted to love it bc it’s one of the slimmest and cheap... The tightening strap is near impossible to tighten. The only way I can tighten it rear facing is by pulling it through the other side of the seat (like into the front seat). So I wouldn’t recommend it. Save yourself some frustration.

Recommended for slim fit and extended rear-facing
I've seen the Safety 1st Crosstown Slim recommended a lot for convertibles with small footprints and ease of install. It’s cheap, slim, and has high rear facing limits. For a swivel, the Evenflo Revolve360 is great but wide. If you really need slim, go Crosstown.

Harness adjuster difficult even for older child
I have a Safety 1st Crosstown and the harness adjuster is SO hard to tighten. I have to use two hands and it's a workout. My kid is 35 lbs and I struggle every time. I regret this purchase.

Acceptable movement per manual, but some find it excessive
I have the same seat and get similar movement. I called Safety 1st and they said up to an inch at the belt path is acceptable. It's within spec, but it still freaks me out when I see it move. Just tighten as much as you can.
