  • Parent of multiples weighs pros and cons of Baby Trend brand

We have a BabyTrend bucket seat... I have no complaints with the thing. It gets the job done, meets all safety standards, no rethreading required, clicks into a base and stroller fine, and its a budget friendly carseat. ...it was on a super sale... which is why we went with it. Versus other more expensive seats like the Chicco KeyFit, the padding is not as plush and they may not last as long, but they are safe when used correctly.

  • Mixed opinions on Baby Trend car seats from expecting parents

I got a Baby Trend. I don't remember exactly which one. It’s fine but doesn't have much padding. I used it for my first and it was okay, I got a hand me down for my second and I’m actually currently using a Graco one I like a lot more. If we weren't in a pandemic I'd go to a store and feel them... feel the padding in person. But if price is a big factor, it's a good seat. It passes all the same safety tests.

  • CPST advice on fixing level bubble with Baby Trend seat

The seat angle indicator bubble needs to be centered. If it's not, you may need a rolled towel or pool noodle. Check your manual—some Baby Trend models have an elevation foot that can be deployed to help with the angle. If that doesn't work, a tightly rolled towel under the base (at the seat bite) is often needed.
