Arrived broken. Doesn't stay in doorway unless holders are attached to the door frame. I don't understand why there aren't more in-between options for width so that the sideways pressure would hold the gate in the door frame (the way baby gates used to!).

Evenflo position and lock is the one we have... I despise it. The locks are impossible to operate smoothly. My parents bought the exact same gates as us and my dad had to end up trimming some of the wood to make it fit in the door and the adjusting stick broke within the first couple uses... I will never recommend them.

Evenflo gate lock difficult to use after a year
The lock is very difficult on the Evenflo position and lock wood gate, I still have trouble getting the lock to fit over the two bars and we've been using it for about a year now.
