this swing was an absolute fucking LIFESAVER for us. Our son had reflux and would just cry and cry... we put him in this swing and it would settle him immediately. It’s fine to use for short periods with an awake baby. It isn’t safe for sleep.

Motor smoking and electrical hazard
The motor is burning out or the board is fried. Turn it off. Remove ALL power sources... This is a major concern if it’s smoking like that. It could be a few different things internally but please keep it turned off from any sort of power until manufacturer goes through it with you.

Simple Sway LX stopped working after a month
I have a Graco Simple Sway LX with multi-direction seat….however after using it for less than a month for a couple hours total…..it stopped working and now I gotta get ahold of Amazon to figure out if the warranty covers it.

Graco simple sway swing! Both my girls love it. I use it for my 2 month old everyday. It’s comfortable and supportive of head and neck. we have a $200 graco swing and our 3 month old prefers her grandmas $40 one instead.
