We have the Bright Starts swing and it’s been great for the price. It’s super portable and easy to fold up. The batteries do die pretty quickly though and the motor started making a weird noise after a few months but overall can’t complain for $60.

Comparison to Mamaroo and soothing effectiveness in NewParents
Love our Bright Starts swing! It’s the only thing that calms my baby down sometimes. We tried the Mamaroo but she hated it because it didn’t swing like a regular swing. This one is simple, has music, and the speeds are good. I wish it plugged in though because we go through so many batteries.
