I bought the Safety 1st ones and they didn't work on my in-laws' glass top stove... The knobs are set too far back so the cover doesn't reach. Also, the plastic rotating against the stainless steel of the range causes scratches. Turns out, I could just remove the knobs from the range, so now I just take my knobs off and have thrown these in the trash.

Mixed experiences: toddler can't open them but adult finds them tricky
We have the Safety 1st clear knob covers and so far our 2 year old hasn't been able to open them. I will say it takes a little getting used to as an adult, but I think it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

Safety 1st covers failed due to heat from oven melting hinges
I just bought these a month ago and they are advertised as heat resistant however, after a few uses of opening/closing our oven - we have 2 that are already broken because the hinge piece melted out of shape and can no longer open/close 2 of the knobs covers.

Even if it didn't have this serious problem, the knob cover is so tight against the knob when installed that rotating the knob cover turns the knob - rendering the product completely ineffective.
