Life saver.
Life saver. I'm not going to lie. When I first heard of this when I was creating my registry, I thought it was silly. Why wouldn't I just rock the stroller myself? How hard can it be? Well, very hard when you have a meal that you need to eat with 2 hands. Or, when it's just one of those days where your baby NEEDS a nap, is refusing to take one at the stroller is the only way they're going to sleep- but it's -2 degrees and snowing outside, and you have about 10 million other things you need to get done. Moral of this review is, get it. Everywhere I go now I get asked- "what's a rockit!?" when they see it. Other Mom's look at me with jealousy when we're sitting outside on main street, and can enjoy my drink in peace while reading my book and my baby is snoozing away being rocked away without a care in the world. Wish I had this with my first child
Wish I had this with my first child I just found this for my third child and wish I had it for my first two babies. My babies hated sleeping in their bassinet and it felt like it took so long for them to learn to sleep in their bassinet. This has helped my son fall asleep. It does shut off after a while and he doesn’t seem to mind. The batter life seems good if I remember to charge it during the day when he’s not sleeping. Would definitely recommend. Used it in place of a Snoo!
Used it in place of a Snoo! Travel is hard with a little guy… He loves his Snoo But man lugging that heavy thing around was not an option. A friend suggested we try the ROCKIT and it was perfect! We used our babies bassinet attachment to their stroller and BAM it was a snoo for us! Worked like a charm and sooooo easy! Tell your friends! 7 answered- How does the Rockit fit to a stroller?
- To attach the Rockit to your stroller, use the universal bracket included in the box. The bracket can be attached to your stroller or pram, but can also be removed and repositioned as needed. The Rockit easily slots in and out of the bracket, making it convenient to use. To secure the bracket onto the stroller, turn the wheel clockwise. To loosen it, turn the wheel anti-clockwise. - Does the Rockit work with all different brands of stroller?
- Yes, we think so. We designed a universal bracket (included in every box) to accommodate tubes of all sizes and shapes. The bracket was tested on more than 40 strollers; while there is no 100% guarantee for every new model, the Rockit should fit somewhere on most strollers.
- What age child can I use the Rockit with?
- The Rockit is designed for children from birth to approximately 3 years old.
- Is the rocking motion safe?
- Yes. The motion is based on the way parents rock their children by hand, and scientific tests show the vibration level closely resembles normal hand rocking of a pushchair. The movement is subtle and gentler than a pushchair moving over paving stones.
- Can I use the Rockit on a crib?
- No. Rockit was designed and tested for pushchairs and prams only. Intertek safety testing found risks (for example a tired parent might place it inside a cot where the baby could get tangled). The brand does not recommend using Rockit on cots, cribs or Moses baskets.
- Why is there a 60 minute timer on the Rockit?
- The Rockit is designed to assist in soothing your baby to sleep or maintaining sleep when the stroller is stationary. Most babies sleep in cycles of approximately 40 minutes, so the 60-minute timer helps finish one complete sleep cycle after which the baby may be in deeper sleep and no longer require rocking.
- How long does it take to charge the Rockit?
- To fully charge the Rockit takes approximately 5–6 hours. However, with just a one hour charge you can enjoy up to 3 hours of use on a medium speed.
