Overwhelmed by strollers: Safety 1st Smooth Ride recommended as budget option
I have the Safety 1st Smooth Ride travel system. It’s not too expensive and does the job. I like that it comes with the car seat and base and stroller all in one. I was between this and the Graco Modes, but the Safety 1st was cheaper and I just went with that. It’s been good for walks and stores.

Complaints about durability and wheel issues after limited use
We bought the Safety 1st Smooth Ride and have not been impressed. The wheel started squeaking after a few months, and now one of the front wheels locks up and won’t turn properly. We tried contacting customer service, but they weren't helpful. I wish we'd saved up for a Chicco Bravo instead.

Mixed reviews after one year: convenient but bulky and squeaky
We've used the Smooth Ride for about a year. It's okay for the price. The fold is nice and easy, but it's pretty bulky in my trunk. It pushes smoothly on pavement but not great on grass. The canopy is huge which is a plus. The car seat is basic but feels safe. I'd give it a 6/10.
