4 threads · r/parentsofmultiples, r/BabyBumps, r/BabyBumpsCanada, r/carverscaveReddit views the Baby Trend EZ Ride Travel System as a budget-friendly option, but many warn about safety, durability, and missing features, making it suitable as a backup rather than a primary system.
While praised for affordability and ease of assembly, significant concerns exist around safety (car seat getting stuck, missing anti-rebound bar, flimsy build) and discomfort for newborns, leading to a slightly negative overall sentiment.

Parents of multiples weigh pros and cons of Baby Trend brand
We had the Baby Trend jogger travel system for our singleton and it was fine. However, we quickly upgraded to a nicer stroller because the wheels started to wear out and the car seat was super uncomfortable for our baby. She would scream every time we put her in it. For twins, we went with the Chicco KeyFit and a double stroller. I wouldn't trust Baby Trend for everyday use with two.

Expectant parents consider Baby Trend for budget travel system
We just got the Baby Trend EZ Ride system in Dash Grey. It was really easy to put together and seems sturdy enough for the price. We're on a tight budget and it was one of the few travel systems we could afford. I've heard mixed reviews about the safety, but it has good ratings on Walmart. We'll see how it holds up.

Canadian parent desperate for affordable travel system at 37 weeks
I'm 37 weeks and still don't have a travel system. I'm looking at the Baby Trend EZ Ride because it's literally the only one I can afford right now. I know it's not the best, but I just need something to get her home from the hospital. Does anyone have experience with it?

Detailed review of Baby Trend EZ Ride 35 Travel System
I bought the Baby Trend EZ Ride 35 in Dash Grey. Pros: easy to assemble, lightweight, affordable. Cons: car seat base feels flimsy, no anti-rebound bar, baby seems uncomfortable, buckle is a pain, car seat got stuck in base once. Overall, it's okay for a backup or occasional use, but I wouldn't recommend it as a daily driver.
