  • Mixed feedback on Safety 1st travel system in stroller review thread

I settled for Safety 1st because of the price but it’s not the easiest to snap the car seat into. I would have preferred to spend more for a model that’s easier to snap the car seat in... The car seat is too narrow. My baby is the right weight and height, but once you put on a snowsuit or coat, he was very uncomfortable. Now that my baby is a little bigger, I can't use it in the car, even though it said it would accommodate up to his height and weight. I travel by cab from time to time. Aside from that, the stroller is amazing 😍, very easy to use, and handles very well on any type of ground surface, and I love how far down the hoods come. The basket holds a lot. Both items are very well-made, and the color and materials are of great quality.

  • Positive mention of Safety 1st travel system in overwhelmed new parents thread

I am still using the combo even after 5 years and it seems... The car seat is not detaching from the stroller as easily as before. During winter months, the cover part on the blanket is not long enough to cover me. I appreciate the versatility of the travel system. It does the same thing as expensive Doona car seats, except for the need to put it on the base of the stroller. I like the front and backward facing positions and storage capacity.
