Munchkin swing vs. other options for small spaces
Has anyone used these with previous babies? The one we had with our son was big, took up a lot of room and couldn’t really be moved. This pregnancy is twins so I’m thinking these would be better since they’re smaller and can be moved around our small house. What was your experience with it? [User:] yes we had it and baby hated it. Returned it and got one with lights and colors mobile on the top and she loved that one. [User:] I bought a Mamaroo last time because it is relatively narrow and it worked in the small house we lived in at the time. I haven't seen this one in person, but that base looks so big in the pic, so I'd personally be looking for something that takes up less space. What I saw many ppl use back in Europe, though it's a bouncer, not a swing, is Baby Bjorn, which is so small and light weight, super portable. [User:] the baby bjorn bouncer was a godsend for us. My daughter LOVED it. Never ever liked the swing... I would suggest a swing that offers different directions of movement, such as back and forth, side to side, etc in case they have a particular liking! If it only moves one way, you can only hope they like that one specific movement!

Electric bouncer/swing worth it? Munchkin considered
I am due in October, and we have been looking at getting a swing. They are pretty expensive in my opinion. I was looking at the Munchkin one, but first time mom here and I’m not sure if they’re worth that price. I would love to hear everyone’s opinions. [User:] I have a Munchkin swing. I’ve had it since 2022 and have used it for two babies. It was worth it for us. The seat is deep and cradles them well. The built in speaker is good quality and I like the fact that it is Bluetooth so I can play whatever music I want. ... I’ve seen others say that a bouncer is better and I agree that it really seems to depend on the baby. [User:] We had a Graco swing that moved both directions and my son liked it a lot. Now I have the Mamaroo, and I am worried this baby won’t like the motion. But I heard the Munchkin is similar and often recommended for small spaces.

Munchkin swing as a space-saving option in Canada
We’re in a smaller place so I’m looking for something compact. I was looking at the Munchkin portable swing... Has anyone tried it? Thoughts? [User:] I have the Munchkin. It’s light and easy to move around the house. Doesn’t take up much room. My baby likes the side to side motion. He hated the traditional swings that go back and forth. I think it’s worth trying especially if you can get it on sale. [User:] I had the Munchkin and it was great when my son was a newborn. He would sleep in it while I got things done. We used it a lot for the first 4 months. Then he just wanted to be held more. I don’t regret buying it. [User:] I preferred the Baby Bjorn bouncer. It’s manual but my baby liked it better and it’s even smaller and more portable. But it depends on the baby. If you can, try both and see which motion they prefer.
