I had this one with my first baby. You do want it firm. It would unsafe to add anything else. I bought some sheets on Amazon and they fit great. I liked being able to bring it with when we went to other peoples houses Or overnights elsewhere. We had a curious kitty, so we would zip baby in so the cat couldn’t jump in there. I didn’t like how the zipper sometimes woke baby up.

The sheets from Dream On Me fit perfectly but holy moly they are hard to find in Canada. The mattress measured 30x15 inches but Dream On Me brand 'Bassinet' sheets are 32x16 and fit snug. Target's Cloud Island bassinet sheets are too big at 33x18. Amazon has some that claim to fit but many reviews say they're too small/large.

We got the dream on me Karley bassinet. Very compact and light and it’s great if you need to move it around the house. We brought it when staying with family and it folds up easily. Solid choice for a smaller space.
