User experience and comparison on Maxi-Cosi Cassia swing worth
I got the Cassia swing and my baby seems to tolerate it for short periods (10-15 mins) which is great for when I need to shower or cook. I love that it rotates 360 degrees, and it's very compact. The smart motion detection is a nice feature but not necessary. Overall I think it's worth it if you can afford it, but if you're on a budget, a bouncer might be just as effective.

General discussion on baby swings and safety
I registered for the Maxi-Cosi Cassia because I love the look and it got good reviews. However, after reading about safe sleep, I'm nervous about using it at all. I know I won't let baby sleep in it, but I hope it helps when she's fussy. Honestly, I'm now questioning whether any swing is really necessary given that you can't leave them unattended.

Mention of Cassia in registry thread
I have the Maxi-Cosi Cassia on my registry. I went back and forth between that and the Mamaroo, but the Cassia seemed more compact and I like the rotation. I've heard mixed things about whether babies even like swings, so I'm hoping it works out.
