The HoMedics MyBaby SoundSpa Lullaby Sound Machine with Projector is a compact baby soother that combines six audio options (heartbeat, gentle rain, ocean waves, and three lullabies) with a built-in projector displaying three rotating scenes on the ceiling or wall. It features adjustable volume, an AC adapter, and an auto-off timer (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes). Parents report it is loud enough to drown out household noise, durable over years of use, and convenient for travel, though battery consumption is high when using AA batteries as backup.

  • Request for loud white noise machine recommendations

So annoyed! So, my MIL gave me this Sound Oasis machine and it's OK but it glitches which wakes him up. :/ So, I bought a Munchkin Sound Machine/projector because of the good reviews and it's not loud enough to drown out any sounds... We bought a $20 'homedics soundspa' machine from bed, bath and beyond. Has worked like a charm for almost 2 years. The loudest setting of 'waterfall' is quite loud, IMHO. I also have the Homedics machine. It's great; it's only $20 and it plays lullaby music along with nature sounds.

  • Deal post and review comments praising the Homedics MyBaby Sound Machine

Homedics MyBaby Lullaby Sound Machine and Projector for just $19.68... This compact sound machine offers six soothing sounds and lullabies, including heartbeat, gentle rain, ocean waves, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Rock-A-Bye Baby, and Cradle Song. It also features a built-in picture projector with three images... These repeat buyers couldn’t be happier: 'I have bought two now. They are the best ones I have found. I tried several before I found this one. Works great for the kids and adults. Easy to travel with also.' 'I purchased one of these when my oldest was born, my youngest had to have one too because they both love the sounds and projection feature. Used it for years and it’s still going strong.' 'We bought one of these 4 years ago for our oldest, it’s STILL kicking. So of course we had to buy a new one for our newborn! The only sound machine we will ever use.'

  • Discussion about Homedics white noise machine battery and power issues

We have a Homedics White noise machine. And it is ac operated, but also accept 4 AA batteries. The battery consumption is too much, and it gives me a headache to catch up when to change it to last until the morning. It is a nice one and we have been using it since day one of ST. The problem is when the power is blinking, it will start from 'rain sound' and we need to go in and press the 'white noise' bottom again. I used the homedics sound machine and had the same issues so we switched to this: [Yogasleep device]. It plugs in and has a battery backup so that when the power goes out there’s no interruption in sound.

  • Discussion on whether white noise machines are worth it, including Homedics and comparisons

Is paying for a white noise machine worth it? My friend has this one [Yogasleep Hushh] but at $50 I find it a bit expensive... We first bought the Skip Hop owl. In my opinion it was not any different from the app... I returned it and we got the Dohm white noise machine. It is also from Yogasleep. To me the sound quality is very different from the digital machines. This one has an actual mechanical fan in it... I bought one (the hatch) pretty pricey, but it has a built in night light and you can set an alarm on it... For at home I use a random one from Amazon random cheap one and for portable I use the one you linked.
