Parents of multiples discuss Baby Trend brand pros and cons
I actually really like our Baby Trend car seat. It's super lightweight and easy to carry, which is a must with twins. Installation was a bit tricky the first time, but once you get the hang of it, it's fine. For the price, you can't beat it. However, I've heard some people say they feel flimsy compared to Chicco or Graco, but we haven't had any issues.

CPST discussion on base bubble level not staying level after installation
I installed my Baby Trend Ez-Lift Pro base and the bubble was level, but after a few days it shifted. I took it to a CPST who said the base can be finicky and sometimes needs a pool noodle or towel to maintain the angle. The seat itself is okay, but the base design isn't the best.

BabyBumps user asks about Baby Trend car seat recommendation
I registered for the Baby Trend Ez-Lift Pro because it was lightweight and affordable. My cousin has the Graco SnugRide and while it feels sturdier, it's also heavier and more expensive. For my budget, the Baby Trend is perfect. I like the dash tan color too. Just wish the canopy was a little bigger.
