Great car seat that fits three wide. It seems to be comfortable and fits from newborn through car seat life. All four of my kids are in DLX seats, and loved to have the slim option!

Slim and cute

I don’t think you should base your car seat decision on a review, but this is the best car seat so far. It’s slim and our baby feels so comfy . We look for a car seat that was slimmer than current one. We picked this one based on a. recommendation for a car seat safety expert. It was harder to fit in and get right with the lower latches, but once we got it, it was perfect. Even though our baby is tall, she can even reach the cupholders. Our toddler had a hard time in her car seat at first.

Great seat, tricky install

CateP

Overall very happy with this car seat. It feels sturdy and secure once installed and our child is comfortable in it. That said, installation was not very intuitive at first. We had to watch several YouTube videos to make sure we were doing it correctly. Once installed, it’s great, just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve.

No more EZ tight Latch

123456

Purchased to replace my Graco 4Ever DLX Platinum after an accident. Love it but they no longer have the EZ Tight Latch, which is honestly the only reason I originally chose this seat. That was hands down the best feature and I probably won't repurchase because it isn't available anymore.

Great convertible car seat! Comfortable ride and many adjustments for a growing child.

Great car seat

K Carter

Great quality and my son says it's comfortable! So that's a win!

Good car seat but takes a bit to get use to

BoymamaMissouri

The push buttons to undo can be a bit hard to unbuckle and to tighten is a little tougher, not as smooth as our previous car seat. But overall very pleased, just took sometime to get use to.

A True 3 Across Seat!

Lace97

This is great for small cars!!! I have two of these and a graco snugfit carrier in the back seat of a Buick Verono. It’s reasonably comfortable and I love that the cup holders are detachable. I do recommend going to the fire department to ensure you have it installed correctly if you have 3 seats across though.

Comfortable and very safe

Gabi39616

My family and I got into a roll over car accident on the interstate and my 16 month old daughter was the only person in the crash not injured! Our vehicle rolled three times. She had a tiny scratch on her eyebrow from a piece of glass that shattered from the rear windshield. The best car seat there is out there and if you are on the fence with getting it, just do it! We will continue to use this one with all of our future children! Thank you Graco for the amazing car seat. The car seat budged maybe and inch and before I removed it it was upright like it should be

Best Installation

MomOfMany

A huge thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to test this Graco® 4Ever® DLX Slim 4-in-1 Car Seat! This is by far the easiest car seat we have ever installed and we have been through dozens of car seats through the years. The manual and the car seat itself is color coded, what a brilliant feature! This makes it easy to install in any configuration and pretty much makes it fool proof. Our two year old and four year old both snuggle into this seat like it was made just for them. This is one solid car seat and I feel confident this will keep our child safe should an accident occur. The thought and care that went into this design is impressive, I just wish these features didn't come at a premium so all babies could be afforded the best protection.

Best Slim Car Seat

PackNPlay

Since we'll be needing 4 car seats soon (2 in each vehicle), we decided to try out the less expensive Graco version of a convertible car seat instead of sticking with our usual high-end brand, which is more somewhat expensive. Off the bat, I was impressed! It seems just as nice (if not nicer?) than the more expensive brand. I (average size woman at 5' 7'', currently 6 months pregnant with 2nd baby) installed this car seat (rear-facing) easily by myself in my 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe using the latch system. The car seat was light enough for me to lift it out of the box and into the car without much difficulty. I could probably even carry it up and down a flight of stairs if I needed to. Because my other high-end car seat was already installed behind the passenger seat, I installed this one behind the driver seat. I also settled on this arrangement because I anticipated the slim model not taking up as much space as the regular, which turned out to be somewhat true. It's definitely a tight-fit, but it does fit, which is the important part. Baby just won't be able to recline as much as if it were behind the passenger seat, and there's absolutely no room to move the driver's seat back any further. If you are taller than 5' 7'' and have a smaller vehicle than a mid-size crossover, this may be an issue for you. However, we also briefly installed it in my husband's 2020 RAM pick-up truck behind the driver's seat and had an abundance of room. So I think it more depends on your vehicle than then car seat. Installation was also easy. It took me about 15-20 minutes total to unbox and install the car seat. It was a similar installation to the high-end car seat I recently installed and seems secure enough. I have not tested forward facing yet, as my child is not old enough to make the switch, but don't anticipate any major issues. My child also didn't seem to mind the car seat. It seems comfortable enough and the material is not scratchy/itchy; it's soft and "smooth". It also cleans easily, meaning there are no "lost forever" crevasses, as I had to vacuum some cracker crumbs already. I haven't had to wash it yet or have any liquid spilled on it yet, so unsure how that will go or if staining will be an issue. Although my child didn't mind (she's small - 24th percentile at 22 months), the slim design is definitely just that: slim. The other car seat we have is definitely roomier, and I can see this one becoming annoying to her as she grows with it. However, it hasn't been a problem so far. She was also a big fan of having 2 cup holders (one for the snack cup and one for her water). Overall: I think this is a great purchase. If you need a "smaller" car seat (note: it's not small by any means, just "tighter") due to your vehicle size, I will truly recommend this product. It's cute, comfortable, and well designed. It also feels safe, which in the long run, is the most important thing when deciding to purchase a car seat for your child. I really enjoy the fact that it's a one-and-done purchase as well, because the car seat will grow with your child until a car seat is no longer required. I received this product for free from the Stellar Reviews program but liked it so much for my smaller/more compact vehicle that we're likely keeping it for baby #2.

Slim fit seat

Chrissy

The Graco 4Ever DLX Slim 4-in-1 Car Seat has been an excellent addition to our daily lives. We love the slim fit as it allows us the extra space we need in our car without sacrificing safety or comfort for our little one. We love the four modes on this seat and we can appreciate that it’s a car seat that will grow with our child as their needs change. The appearance is sleek and we love that it matches our car so well— that’s such an added bonus. It was super easy to install and we love how easy all the parts are to clean and keep fresh. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat.

The Ultimate Car Seat Slim and Built to Grow

K4Mom

I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and so far this car seat has completely transformed our car rides! Driving an SUV with a bench seat, I truly appreciate its slim design—it fits effortlessly in my backseat, making installation alongside other passengers and an additional car seat a breeze. Despite its compact footprint, it still provides ample space, ensuring a comfortable and secure fit for everyone in the car. The four-in-one functionality is a huge bonus—this seat effortlessly transitions through its different modes, so I’ll definitely be able to continue using it as my kiddo grows. Right now, it suits my sons needs perfectly, giving him a safe, cozy ride while ensuring we won’t need to upgrade anytime soon. Installing the seat was incredibly simple. Graco’s clear instructions and user-friendly design made securing it a breeze, and adjusting it for a custom fit was straightforward. The adjustable headrest and harness provide a tailored feel that keeps my son comfortable and secure on every trip. What stood out the most was the combination of safety and comfort features. The plush padding offers great support, and the sturdy build gives me confidence that my child is well-protected. The SlimFit design is a real lifesaver for maximizing backseat space without sacrificing quality. If you're looking for a car seat that combines convenience, adaptability, and peace of mind, I highly recommend the Graco 4Ever DLX Slim 4-in-1 Car Seat!

Great quality and pretty color scheme

Hmb28

I received this car seat as part of the Stellar Review Testing Panel. First impressions when unboxing it was how high quality the materials were, and how pretty the black color scheme was! My kids are 22 months and 3 months so I installed it rear facing using lower anchors for my 3 month old. The instructions in the manual were easy to follow and install only took me a few minutes. The only pain point was checking the level - it’s only on one side of the car seat. I was installing this behind the drivers seat, so I had to go around the car to check the level. Not a major issue, just more of an inconvenience! The size of the seat is also a benefit. I installed this in our sedan so there’s not a lot of room, but even with it reclined and the head rest up we didn’t need to adjust the drivers seat, still leaving it in a comfortable position for the driver with plenty of room (seen in photos). You can also see in the photos how roomy it is when installed with a second car seat (Graco Turn2Me). Overall, it’s a great seat that is high quality and built to last! I highly recommend!

Grows with your child

CK326

I received the Graco® 4Ever® DLX Slim 4-in-1 Car Seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I’ve had the chance to use it for several weeks with my child. Overall, it’s a solid, budget-friendly car seat with a lot of versatility. Pros: • Truly grows with your child: From infant rear-facing all the way to a backless booster, this seat is built to last through every stage. It’s great to know I won’t need to purchase multiple seats over the years. • Secure and tight installation: Once installed properly, the seat felt extremely secure. I didn’t notice any wobble or give, which gave me peace of mind about its safety. • Dual cup holders: A small but thoughtful feature—both cup holders are large enough to fit a YETI Jr. water bottle, which is a huge win for us. • Smart storage for parts: There’s a convenient space to store the manual and extra components for booster mode. I really appreciated this, knowing I won’t lose parts over time. • Harness hook: The 5-point harness has a built-in hook that made getting my child in and out of the seat much easier, especially when in a rush. Cons: • Material quality: The fabric and padding left something to be desired. It made a bit of a crinkling sound when touched, and it lacked the plush cushioning I’ve seen in other car seats. I’m not sure how comfortable it would be on longer drives. • Complicated installation: While it offers a lot of configurations, switching between them was a bit overwhelming. For example, moving from rear-facing to forward-facing required adjusting the latch system and reworking the seat pads. I found myself double-checking the manual frequently out of fear I might miss something critical that could affect safety. Final Thoughts: If you’re looking for a car seat that will take your child from infancy through their booster years, the Graco 4Ever DLX Slim is a practical and cost-effective option. While it may not have the premium feel or simplified installation of higher-end models, it delivers on safety, longevity, and convenience. Just be prepared to spend some extra time with the manual to ensure you’re setting it up correctly for each stage.

Slim fit and sleek

BarbieGirl

Thanks to the Stellar Review Panel for providing the new slim car seat for me to test and review. I love the car seat’s slick colors and design. We have other Graco car seats so I was able to compare this slim one, and noticed it fit better in the back of our SUV, but it doesn’t feel too small and weighs about the same. The cup holders are great and can even be angled out or in. My son is 2.5 and he fits in the car seat secured backwards easily with no fuss. It’s easy to adjust the tilt back and forth to fit your children’s needs. Installation using the two anchors was easy enough, but it did take a bit of finagling to get the level on the side of the car seat to be in the safe zone. The only thing that was different from my other car seats is that to loosen the harness you have to push UP on the middle tab and pull the harness out instead of pushing down on the metal tab. My biggest feedback would be to change the tab release to push down to match all the other car seats.

Slim and comfortable

Katie

I have three kids so we’ve gone through a lot of car seats. This is by far the slimmest we’ve owned. We positioned this seat rear-facing behind the front passenger seat in our Honda Pilot. I was able to recline the front passenger seat to a more comfortable position because the car seat is so compact. It was easy to install using the latch system, we’ve only ever used the latch system and it was not any easier or harder than the other car seats we’ve installed. It was easy to adjust the seat based on our two year old’s needs. I really like the bubble level feature on the side of the car seat so it’s very easy to see if the seat is reclined/installed properly. Our child transitioned from her previous car seat to this new one very easily, she is just as comfortable in this seat as the wider/bulkier one that we were using before this one. She sits alongside her brother who is in a booster seat and there is plenty of space between them, he sits behind the driver’s side. It’s easy to buckle her in the car seat, the harness is easy to secure to a snug fit. The lever to release the harness is a little awkward to reach but easy to get used to. I know this will grow with her nicely and that we won’t need to replace it anytime soon. The car seat is heavy but we don’t move it from vehicle to vehicle often. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

A One and Done Car Seat

Redrocksgirl

Honestly, this car seat is blowing my mind. I have never owned a seat that can be used for an infant, all the way up to a backless booster for older children. This can literally be the only car seat you ever buy! How efficient is that? I love how easy the fabric is to remove and machine wash. As I frequently need to wash my car seat covers due to snack and drink spills. The car seat itself looks really nice and durable. I found the manual and set up to be very easy to follow and make adjustments from forward facing to rear facing. I have a Subaru wagon and this slim style seat is perfect and doesn’t inhibit me putting three kids and seats in the back seat row. My kiddos said that this seat is very comfortable! The only potential downside is the high investment purchase price, however, it’s actually quite reasonable when one considers it will last you from birth through elementary school! Many thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to try this car seat.

Great versatility in a compact footprint

JLBH

I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. The Graco® 4Ever® DLX Slim 4-in-1 Car Seat offers a lot to appreciate, especially if you’re navigating the puzzle of fitting multiple car seats into a limited space. The slim design is definitely appealing—I’ve been exploring whether it’s possible to fit someone between two forward-facing car seats in the third row of my minivan. While this seat fits the depth comfortably and I can technically squeeze between, it’s not a safe option for actually riding, but I think if it was the only car seat in this row I could fit two adults next to it. And I suspect that if I swapped out both seats in the third row for the Graco Slim, I might be able to fit someone between. I think it would also be useful for separating kids a little. As it is, the seat fits in a compact spot with enough room for my kiddo to climb in and out with ease. I used this seat for my forward-facing 4-year-old, who still uses a five-point harness and weighs under 40 pounds. I followed the manual to move the latch system into the forward-facing route path, but I have to say—this was the most frustrating car seat installation I’ve experienced yet, and I’ve installed quite a few over the years for my three kids and two vehicles. Ultimately, I wasn’t confident that the latch install looked correct, so I switched to a seatbelt install instead. That method felt secure, safe, and just as straightforward as with our other car seats. Aesthetically, the seat looks sleek, simple, and clean, and the cushions appear comfortable. Unfortunately, my 4-year-old is not a fan—he’s currently hard-refusing it. Kids, right? He claims it looks uncomfortable. I suspect the slimmer profile compared to his current seat is throwing him off. Luckily, I anticipated some resistance and installed this new seat alongside his current one so he can adjust gradually. The plan is to eventually move his rotating seat to our youngest, who’s currently still in a bucket seat. What stands out most is the car seat’s versatility. While I’m using it for an older child, I also have a 2.5-year-old and a 4-month-old, and it’s clear this seat is thoughtfully designed to grow with a child from infancy through booster age. The no-rethread harness and easy recline adjustments are standout features that simplify the process of switching between children of different ages and sizes. The latch system and storage are well done for rear-facing installation, but my frustration with the forward-facing latch install setup still lingers. That said, in areas of my minivan where I don’t need the convenience of a rotating seat (which I use to save my back during the early years), the slim footprint of the 4Ever® DLX Slim makes it a great solution. It fits snugly, even in the tight third-row corner spot, and creates a secure, compact setup. Overall, this seat has a lot of promise. With thoughtful design and long-term use in mind, it’s a solid contender—especially for growing families trying to maximize space without compromising safety.

4Ever for sure

Cindy

Received this car seat from Stellar Panel in exchange for my honest feedback. As a mom of three littles under four this is amazing. I was able to see what the car seat would look like at different stages! My smallest is currently in an infant seat and it’s the perfect time to test this because it provides inserts that provide that extra support needed. My oldest is in a forward facing and she loved the cup holders she said one for water and one for snacks and expressed “how comfy!” It was. Install was super easy and secure which is my biggest concern. The feel and look of this is definitely worth the price and then some considering it’ll definitely grow with your littles!

Good solid carseat option

Kris

I liked the Graco Forever DLX 4in1 Slim carseat for multiple reasons. It was quite easy to install, it is very solid and does not seem cheap or flimsy. It fit well in the bucket seats of my vehicle, as well as the larger back seat next to another carseat. Despite the convenient slim fit of the car seat, it is roomy enough that my child is quite comfortable in it. The car seat has four different modes, so no changing carseats repeatedly as my child grows. I can effortlessly transition the car seat to whatever mode fits my child's needs. I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel.

Very Nice Seat

Mama2Four

As a mom of four kiddos rangong in ages from one to eight, I'm sure you can imagine how manybcar seats I have used. This car seat meets and exceeds my expectations, and is every bit as nice as some of the pricier seats we have had. This car seat was easy to install and feels very solid in our car. It has some metal reinforcement in it, making it seem extra sturdy. I am most thrilled with the fact that this seat fits three across in our sedan. It's hard to find car seats that can do that, and the two next to it aren't even slim! I can imagine that three of these would fit side by side in the smallest of vehicles. I also like the black fabric. It's simple but classy. The seat is easy to adjust with a no rethread harness - a must in my book! It easily converts for my four, six, and eight year olds. The fact that this is a one-and-done car seat is also awesome. There's no need to keep going to buy more seats every time your child "sizes up," and that in itself is worth a lot. I would recommend this car seat to any and every parent without hesitation. It's just a nice, basic seat with some great features that make life easier. I received this product as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but all opinions are my own.

A Game Changer

Momoffourgirls

As a mom of four—with all my kids still in car seats—I’ve tested more than my share of models over the years. So when I say the Graco 4Ever DLX Slim 4-in-1 Car Seat is the easiest car seat I’ve ever installed, that’s saying something! Installation was incredibly simple. It’s also lightweight and easy to transfer between vehicles, which is a major win when you’re juggling multiple kids, schedules, and car seat needs. One of my favorite features is its slim design. It fits beautifully in smaller back seats (like in Grandma and Grandpa’s car), and still leaves enough room for sibling booster seats to fit comfortably beside it. We’re currently using it rear-facing, and even in a bench seat setup, it doesn’t feel cramped. The included dual cup holders are a nice bonus—and they don’t compromise the seat’s slim profile. When we switch to forward-facing, the seat continues to deliver comfort and support. As any parent knows, messes are inevitable. Thankfully, the fast-release seat pad makes cleanup after potty training accidents a breeze. It’s clear Graco considered the realities of parenting when designing this model. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with this car seat to try. I’ve been genuinely impressed with its safety features, ease of use, and how comfortable it is for my little one. The adjustable padding options mean I can customize the fit as my child grows, which adds to the overall sense of security and comfort. Perhaps the biggest plus? The 4-in-1 design grows with your child—from rear-facing to forward-facing, to high-back booster, and eventually a backless booster. It’s a smart, long-term investment that simplifies life while keeping your child safe every step of the way. If you’re looking for a car seat that’s space-saving, easy to use, and built to last through every stage—this is definitely one to consider.

A great all around car seat

MAW10

I received this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel. This seat fits so nicely allowing ample room to fit 3 carseats across a bench type backseat. This gives our family the ability to fully utilize our trunk space and keeping the 3rd row down. I love that this seat is also 4 in 1 and can grow with your child for a long time! The upgraded material is easy to clean and wipe. I appreciate how user friendly it is to remove the fabric if you needed to clean it deeper. The color combo is also a classic and sleek look. Overall, very user friendly to install and manage, extremely convenient for space saving, and growing with your child. You cannot go wrong!

One Seat 4Ever

Patchey04

This car seat was incredibly easy to install. It has many great features like the adjustable headrest, rotating cupholders, as well as loops for storing the buckles, which make it easy to get your kiddo in and out. The seat is built very sturdy. The seat itself is slimmer than most other car seats, I took a picture of what it looks like inside my van from above to give you an idea of what it’s like for width. The best part about this car seat is you can buy one car seat for your kid and never have to buy another. If your kid spits up a lot than you are in luck because this seat was incredibly easy to clean. One thing I did not like about the car seat is the chest buckle. I prefer the magnetic style chest buckles, if this had magnetic, then I would have rated it five stars. Overall, this is a great car seat if you are looking for a one time purchase. This product was received through the Stellar Testing Panel.

A slim seat with all the bells and whistles

pinkmom20

As a mom of three, there are a couple of things a car seat must have in order to work for us: the ability to grow with the baby into toddlerhood; slim design to fit three comfortably across one row in the back seat; easy to install and clean. The Graco 4Ever DLX Slim 4-in-1 car seat checks all these boxes and more, and I am really impressed with the quality and design. I have three car seats across the back row of my vehicle and don’t have tons of space. This seat actually fits better than the infant carrier, in my opinion. When my third baby came along, I just didn’t love the infant seat… lug that thing around while chasing after 2 toddlers? Not a chance. But it is difficult to find a big seat that will also support a tiny baby (of which I’ve had 3). This seat is rated for 4 lbs and has the infant support included. The most important feature of a car seat for me is the lock off feature. I will not purchase another seat without it because it truly secures the car seat in a way that my wrestling with the seat belt never will. It was easy to install, but I do recommend reading the manual because a couple of steps were not very intuitive. This seat also has a few bonus features… Cup holders that are actually within reach of your kid!! And the cloth part of the seat is so easily removed, washed, and replaced, you know it was designed by a parent who knows the car seat stays clean for exactly one second after putting a kid in it. All in all, this is a great car seat which rivals the features and look of any luxury brand, offering a comfortable and secure ride for your little one at an affordable price point. It gets five stars from me! I received this product as a participant in the Stellar Product Testing Panel, in exchange for my honest review.

Great slim fit design with comfort in mind

Graco

The Graco 4Ever DLX Slim 4 in 1 car seat is a car seat that will grow with your child/family. We are currently using it for our 2 year old, but will likely use it rear facing for our soon to be newborn in the future. With its slim design, we are able to fit 3 car seats across our middle row SUV quite easily. It is also very easy to get in and out of the car with its click/release buttons for the belt at the base of the seat. I have no doubt about the safety of this car seat as it remains well secured if placed in the car following the manufacturer instructions. In addition to the safety and slim design, I am very impressed with the cushioning in both the seat and the headrest that assure my child's comfort, as well. I have no doubt longer car rides will result in good naps!

Easy to Install Slim fit for three seats

Reynolkh

I received The Graco® 4Ever® DLX Slim 4-in-1 Car Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. From start to finish it was a simple and easy to follow install. I used the rear setting in the backseat with the LATCH. I have two other car seats back there and this only took me a minute to install. I have a forward facing car seat and a booster back there, so I needed a slim fitting rear seat to fit everyone safely and comfortably. Right now my kiddo is rear facing, but I am so glad I’ll be able to use this seat for years to come! I max out on weight requirements, so we will have three seats in the backseat for a while! I was impressed with the comfortability of the seat as well as the sleek design. The two cup holders is also a bonus so I can throw a drink and some snacks back there! One feature I love is the easy to remove cover that I can take off without taking the seat out and wash! By far, this was simple to install and hearing an audible “click” ensured I installed correctly. I am loving this seat!

The only car seat needed

MomofTWOinthethickofit

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I’m lucky I did. Now as a mom of two I’m all about convenience. This car seat will last my child for their whole car seat journey. The four different modes makes that possible. I LOVE the fact that it is slimmer than most convertible car seats. I have a SUV but noticed with putting both of this kids in their car seats before it left little to no room for anyone to sit in the back. With this new car seat it was able to leave enough room for my husband to actually sit in between both of them. The fabrics of the seat and the cushions left my mind at ease if my infant would be comfortable while in it. I placed her in it while she was sleep on day and she didn’t even wake up. The straps were easy to adjust and make sure she was properly secured without making her uncomfortable. The recline on the seat and the lever let me know she was safely placed in the right position for her size and weight. This car seat truly will put your worries away while you travel with your little one. I know my little one is not only safely secured in place but also she is comfortable. The rapid remove cover makes it easy to wash whenever there is a mess and the rotation on the cups are definitely a plus for not only my infant but my toddler to place and grab their snacks, toys, etc. I highly recommend this car seat as your forever go to seat for your vehicle. You won’t need to find or buy another one for all the years they need it. Thank you so much Graco for thinking of us parents once again not only for the safety of our children but also their comfortably.

Nice Car Seat for Years to Come

GracoSlimFit

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat. The slim fit design fits perfect in my backseat. I do have bucket seats so I had plenty of room to maneuver the car seat around to get the proper latch. It was easy to install, but I would not want to install/uninstall this seat often as it is heavy and does take a little bit of time to make sure it is installed correctly. I love the car seats four modes. I have a 3 week old, 2 year old, 4 year old, and 6 year old. This car seat could fit all my children in each of the modes it has to offer. I tested it out in rear facing mode for infants and I felt like my infant was snug and secure in a safe car seat. I also tested it out on my toddler in forward position with the harness and she seemed to fit comfortably and secure in the seat as well. I appreciate that it comes with two cupholders because kids will use the cupholders not only for their cup but for anything. I like how it has a washable seat cover that is easy to remove without taking the seat out of the car and the whole seat apart.

Slim and useful

Prado

We were on the fence about which car seat/booster to get that would fit into my husband’s crossover. This works perfectly for our needs. I love that if needed, I can switch the seat to accommodate my youngest who is front facing; and my eldest and middle child who are both in boosters. I will say the seat does not feel very padded and the fabric feels as if it’s not the best quality, so perhaps for longer car rides it might not be the most comfy. On the plus side, I love how versatile it can be while also being slim, which I found hard to find. One can use it rear–facing, front–facing, booster and backless booster. I love that with just this one item I can use it for any one of my children. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

mom friendly innovative features

Marcella

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This car seat exceeds my expectations. This slim design not only fits better into my backseat, but looks better and more secure. I love the sleek look of the black fabric with the grey padding. The cup holders are a perfect size for my son’s sippy cups. However, the most stand out feature to me is the seatbelt release button - this one you push up instead of awkwardly wedging your finger in to push down. I love it!

Snug and slim

LizH

I love the slim fit design! It gives us more room to pack coolers and suitcases in our backseat when we travel. I am so excited to have a car seat that will grow with our child until she’s totally out of booster seats! She’s comfortable in the step 2 mode and has already fallen asleep in it. The installation instructions are pretty easy to follow. One nitpick is the step to adjust the crotch buckle is after all the installation is complete and it requires you to undo all that you just did to adjust it. I like how firm the snug fit is in our car and that it doesn’t wiggle around at all. I received this product as part of the stellar product testing panel.

Great car seat

As a full-time working mom with two little ones and a packed schedule, convenience and quality are always appreciated. The Graco 4Ever DLX Slim 4-in-1 Car Seat really checked all the boxes. I received this seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was genuinely excited to give it a try. The slim design is what stood out most. We have two car seats on the larger side in our car, and it’s pretty impossible to have anyone else ride in the back seat. With the Grace Slim car seat I’ve noticed a lot more room in the back where an adult could sit, which has made a huge difference for carpools and when grandparents join us. I also love the 4-in-1 design. It’s such a smart investment for families. Right now we’re using it rear facing for our younger child (2 years old), but knowing it will grow with them and eventually transition into a booster gives me peace of mind—and saves me a future shopping trip. Installation was way easier than I expected. I’m usually sweating and frustrated by the time I finish installing a car seat, but this one had clear instructions, a super helpful level indicator, and adjustments that made sense. I managed to get it securely in place quickly, even between conference calls. It also doesn’t hurt this is the fourth car seat I’ve installed! I would definitely recommend this car seat to any one who is tight on space. If you’re starting your car seat journey or need to add another one I would give this one a serious look. It’s practical for parent’s with smaller suvs and sedans. Right now we’re using it full time in my husband’s smaller car and it’s working out great. We love all the extra padding and comfort that they put into this. Graco always seems to make great practical products and I’m happy to have this Slim car seat for now and the future. Thanks again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to test this out. It’s a seat I’d confidently recommend to any busy parent looking for something safe, space-saving, and built to last.

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I will start by saying I was very impressed with the quality and the look of this Graco car seat. Fabric is nice and stylish and it does look high end. It comes with all the inserts for newborn babies and it grows with your child. So it could be the only car seat you’ll need for your little one! Mine is 1.5 years old and the first time we put him in this car seat, he fell asleep on the way back home. So he is definitely comfortable in it, which was very important for us. My husband installed it fairly quick and it feels very secure. There are two ways of installing it, with the seat belt going through or with the anchors directly into the metal hooks of your car. We chose the anchors and that car seat feels real tight, not moving at all! It feels safe, which gives us peace of mind. Also, I was very surprised with the slim design and how well it fit in our car. We don’t have a big vehicle, mid size car, back space is limited. But even with the car seat installed I have plenty of room on the passenger seat to sit comfortably and even a tiny space left to spare in between (pic attached). We are expecting our second baby in a couple months, so we’ll see how much space is left in the back once both car seats are on! But for now, there is still plenty of room in the back next to the car seat. Overall, I love how easy is to buckle baby in and out and also adjust the headrest and harness for him to be comfortable as he grows. A feature my toddler loves is the cup holders! He puts his water in there and also little toys that keep him entertained. I haven’t used this car seat for a very long time, cause we just received it not even 2 weeks ago, but so far so good! We really like it and it fits our needs very well! If you have a small/mid size car, this is a really great choice! We are very happy with it!

Highly Recommend this Carseat

I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The slim design is amazing, and we are really enjoying it so far! It fits perfectly in my backseat of my sedan and still leaves room for another car seat or passengers, which is huge for us. It was super easy to install, and adjusting it for my 2-year-old only took a few minutes. We’re using it in forward-facing mode right now, and she seems really comfortable and secure. I love that this seat has four stages, so we’ll be able to use it as she grows! I also really like the extra padding on the seat, it makes the carseat snug and cozy. What stood out most is how simple it is to adjust the straps and headrest. I was even able to adjust that with my child sitting in the carseat! Everything clicks into place and feels super sturdy. Overall, this car seat is safe, space-saving, and built to last. I would definitely recommend it to other parents!

Great compact seat

Erica

I received this car seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and will buy more in the future for my other children. I drive a Honda Odyssey and the car seat fits perfectly within the width of one of the backseats. With it, I am able to still have a small passenger (kid) fit between the two car seats in that row. If I had this seat on both sides, the middle seat would have as much room as originally designed in the van. It is so smooth to move the straps and tighten/loosen. The button to loosen the straps is in a different position than any other seat I’ve used, so finding it each time has been difficult for me, but I’m hoping it becomes natural the more I use it. Installation and adjustments are a breeze with this car seat. The only comment my four year old had was that he can’t move his head as much, since the head pieces are closer together. Overall, this car seat is a win and will definitely assist in compact cars.

High quality car seat

Steffi

The Graco 4Ever DLX Slim 4-in-1 Car seat is a very sturdy and functional car seat, that we plan to use for years to come. My baby is 14 months old and just outgrew her infant seat, so we’ve recently transitioned her into the Graco 4Ever in the rear-facing position. What I like: - Very easy to install - Installed in the car it feels secure and sturdy - Takes up less space than our infant seat — I can finally recline my front seat again - Plenty of cushioning, which keeps her head well-supported - Baby seems very comfortable - Smart buckle design keeps the straps out of the way when putting her in - Inserts are easy to remove - Material is easy to wipe clean Downside: It does feel a bit bulky, due to the rear-facing feature, but that’s expected for this type of seat. Overall, this is a safe, high-quality car seat that will grow with us and provide long-term value. I received this car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Really nice car seat

Vlepore326

I used this seat for my youngest child who is currently 2.5 year old. My oldest is 11 and I have 2 kids in between. Needless to say, I've had a lot of experience with car seats. This one definitely has some pros and cons, so let's jump in! Let's start with the cons. It is bulkier than the other seat I generally use. I was slightly concerned that my son would not be able to climb into the seat himself (which is the only way he will get in now) because the front was so much taller than he was used to. Fortunately, he had no problem with getting in and out of the seat. When my child was not in the seat, the headrest did rattle a bit during driving. Finally, the latch to loosen the straps does take a bit of getting used to. That's about it! Now for the pros; there are a lot of them! My son was very excited to try out the seat immediately after opening the product. I had to take out the infant inserts to accommodate his weight. However, the inserts looked great and comfortable for an infant to use. I really liked the ability for the headrest to be moved up and down easily. I love that I don't have to rethread the straps every time my child gets taller. That is an awesome feature. The cup holders are ok. They do fit my 20 oz water cup and other slimmer water bottles. It allows my child to have easy access to their water when in the car. The fact that they move slightly doesn't really make a difference. Another feature that's great is the important reminders that are listed on the side of the seat. Of course, you should always ready the manual, but the tips on the side are really handy, especially if you have multiple types of car seats! My son really likes to buckle the top buckle and he can do so easily. He also seems to be extremely comfortable in the seat. I actually had to switch the seat from my mom's car to my car while my child was sleeping. I was easily able to move it without too much effort. So, the seat is not too heavy to maneuver. All in all, I really like this seat. I'm excited to be able to use it for the rest of my son's journey in a car seat. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

  • Costco deal on Graco 4Ever DLX Grad highly recommended

I have the Graco 4ever and it’s honestly not that bad if you need to take it out and move it around. It’s in my SUV for 90% of the time and when my sons dad takes him, it gets moved to his car. I just got the most cost effective one from the beginning. No infant car seat. Mine is a graco 4Ever dlx 4 in 1.

  • Multiple parents debate Graco 4Ever vs infant seat

We bought the Chicco KeyFit 35 infant car seat and the Graco 4Evr Dlx convertible car seat. I panicked when someone said their hospital would only release them with an infant car seat, so we bought the KeyFit later. We used the Graco4Ever from the start with both kids. The hospitals were fine with us leaving with baby in a stroller with bassinet.

  • User shares fit experience in BMW i4

I used the Graco Forever and it fits Ok in the i4 - but if I remember well you can't use it with the car belt as its too wide. Any seat doesnt fit well anyway, the i4 is not the best car for the back seats, but it works. As for the boosters it was not easy to find some narrow enough to fit with the seat belts, but one of the Evenflo made it.

  • Comparison of three Graco models highlights ease of installation

Overall very happy with this car seat. It feels sturdy and secure once installed and our child is comfortable in it. That said, installation was not very intuitive at first. We had to watch several YouTube videos to make sure we were doing it correctly. Once installed, it's great, just be prepared for a bit of a learning curve.
