Watch Out For

mediumThe basket is small and difficult to access, especially when the seat is reclined.
mediumThe stroller is light and may tip if heavy bags are hung on the handle.
lowThe seat recline may not be upright enough for some toddlers, causing slouching.
lowThe fabric can be slippery, causing the baby to slide down.
lowThe V3 seat faces outward when folded, making it prone to getting dirty in the car trunk.
mediumIt struggles on rough terrain like cobblestones or snow, limiting its use as a primary stroller in some environments.

Community Q&A

Is the Minu V3 suitable as a main/only stroller?
Yes for urban or car-dependent families, but it may not handle rough terrain or large shopping trips as well as a full-size stroller.
Can the Minu V3 be used from birth?
Yes, the seat reclines nearly flat and is newborn-ready, but some parents prefer using a bassinet or car seat for young infants.
Does the Minu V3 fit in airplane overhead bins?
Yes, it is IATA compliant and fits in most overhead bins, though some travelers report that airlines may not consistently allow it.
Is the Minu V3 compatible with UPPAbaby car seats?
Yes, with separate adapters (around $25-$70) it works with Mesa and Aria car seats.
How does the Minu V3 compare to the Minu V2?
The V3 has an easier one-hand fold, cabin compliance, and better recline, but it lacks bassinet compatibility and the seat faces outward when folded.
Is the Minu V3 worth the price?
Many users feel it's worth it for frequent travel and daily convenience, especially with the travel bag warranty, but for occasional use a cheaper stroller may suffice.

Compared To

vs UPPAbaby Vista/Cruz

The Vista and Cruz offer a smoother ride and more storage but are bulkier and heavier; the Minu V3 is more portable and convenient for travel and car use.

vs Joolz Aer+

The Joolz Aer+ is slightly more travel-friendly and lighter, but the Minu V3 has a larger basket and is compatible with UPPAbaby car seats.

vs Bugaboo Butterfly

The Butterfly is a close competitor with a more upright seat and suitability for taller babies; the Minu V3 stands out with its travel bag warranty and brand ecosystem.

  • Minu V3 vs Vista: trade-off in ride smoothness

I have both the minu v3 and the vista v3. The only downside for having the minu as the main is that the vista rides SOO much smoother. We took the minu to Italy this summer and it was easy to carry around but man did I miss how smooth of a ride the vista is. But yes, the vista is a tank and would not be ideal for travel. Wish the minu had the option to attach better wheels (since they easily detach for travel).

  • Minu V3 worth it for UB ecosystem, but adapters extra

We bought it and felt it was worth it. You’re already in the UB ecosystem with the Mesa. But keep in mind you have to pay extra for the adapters for the Minu V3 too. I think they’re like $25? If price is a concern you could get the Minu V2 on FB marketplace. But the travel stroller is worth it imo. We use it more than our Cruz now.

  • Minu V3 check all boxes for a travel-friendly newborn stroller

the V3 is pretty much everything I ever wanted in in a stroller (one hand compact fold, suitable from birth, large canopy, lightweight, hopefully still better suspension than most of the ultra compacts on the market because it looks like the back wheels might be smaller to fit IATA guidelines).

  • Deciding when the Minu V3 is more practical than the Vista

We have a vista v2 that we absolutely love for everyday and local walks. We were gifted the minu v3 and its travel bag for travel ... I’m struggling to find a situation where the minu would prove more pragmatic enough of the time on a trip ... once she grows out of the bassinet attachment, the difference in weight/portability may make the Minu the better choice for our travel.

  • Daily use review: easy operation but tiny basket

We have a Minu V3 that we use as our main stroller. We’ve been using it since birth... It’s so easy to use. Truly a one-handed operation. I’ve never struggled with it. ... The downsides: the under-carriage basket is tiny and not convenient to access. It can’t carry much and removing items requires us to properly stop to maneuver our hands under the seat.

  • Minu V3 improvements over V2 in daily use

Got a Minu V3 about 3 weeks ago... Easier to adjust the recline, handles the streets about the same, love the little baby pocket as it keeps socks from falling onto the street, and the basket is much more accessible. Haven't traveled with it yet so time will tell if it's as well built as the V2 but I appreciate it can be taken into the cabin if you choose to.
