So useful

HanMuch

My baby would get fussy on walks unless he could look up at the trees! He loves being able to kick around and look around. It has really come in handy for our family

Awesome product! Would buy again

Marily

We use this every day! Great purchase . Awesome product! Would buy again

Great product

Jc013

Cot is perfect for our 0+ baby. Been very convenient we take it everywhere as it does fold flat for travel. Only thing that I dislike is that it does move a bit. But it is sturdy. I would definitely buy again.

CarryCot

Ken D

Sturdy and easy to use and it is worth the price you pay for. So useful whenever we go out and baby needs a safe space for a nap

Great purchase even with downsides

Taylr U

I really like it and the versatility it provides. I hate to think of my baby being crunched up in the car seat all the time for a walk or mall visit. Dislikes are that it doesn’t collapse for storage like the more expensive one, doesn’t have a strap/seatbelt for any stability, and the baby bounces around a lot of the ground is bumpy (like the old sidewalk in our neighborhood).

Great buy

JADry1

Exactly what I was looking for. I can use this in my living room with the Graco stand or on the go so baby doesn’t have to stay in the car seat the whole time. Good buy, very versatile.

So handy for a summer babe!

Mama2B2023

Got this to go with the modes 2 grow stroller system. I am due in june so I wanted something other than the infant carrier to be able to put our baby in so it wont be so hot. This is literally perfect. Was easy to put together and looks great with the stroller.

Product review

A parent

This product is so helpful when we go anywhere more than 2 hours.

Not for standing babies!

SamanthasBassinet

It is great quality and very convenient. The only down side is its not very deep and there is no seat belt strap. I have caught her flipping over the side head first.

Good product

CMPC

I am really happy that this product fits in our Modes stroller frame. We purchased the infant car seat and this separate from the stroller which was gifted to us. This is really nice for walks with the baby as it looks a little more comfortable and he can move a little more freely than in the car seat. There is a high-end competitor that I had in mind when i was interested in purchasing this product. I think the competitor's is more attractive and has a softer interior. This one is a little narrow. It is long, but narrow. Overall I'm happy with the product and the price was decent. It can be a little cumbersome, but thankfully it breaks down flat.

Love This Modes Bassinet

Mom25soups

So glad we purchased this!! So comfy for baby girl! Even with the little one out there is lots of room to keep things like an extra bottle and change of clothes hand. Perfect for ball games, trips to the zoo, and afternoons in the park. Highly recommend this.

Who knew you needed a cot

Jaszy

Where do I begin? The Carry Cot arrived in a small box that was so easy to bring up to my 3rd floor apartment I questioned it’s durability. After opening the box I quickly understood why! The cot came complete without any tools necessary. It was so easy to put together and within 5 minutes I had the cot set up, changed my baby’s diaper, and had him laying inside. I love the look of the cot, as well as the size! It comes with a mattress pad and adjustable mattress cover, as well a hood with a built in handle. As if this amazing cot that the Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me to try out couldn’t get any better, it attaches to the stroller.

Awesome Portable Sleep

Jhwestfall77

I loved the size of this carry cot!! Big enough for my baby to move comfortably but small enough to feel cozy and safe! The walls of the cot are high enough for baby to fall asleep without being distracted by the stimulation of their surroundings. The cot was super easy to snap together, and is sturdy and feels well built. I loved being able to attach it to the stroller so my baby could nap flat and not be strapped into a car seat. Overall, I was really happy with this carry cot! It was so nice to take to relatives homes for on the go naps, and I love that it is compatible with our nest stroller. As is trend for the Graco brand, the carry cot is so user friendly. Love this cot! Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing us to test this awesome product!

Very nice bassinet

Sleek

Easy to use and nice looking carry cot. I received this as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I appreciate that the shade is removable but also zips onto the handle to provide good coverage for sunny days. Also, the padding in the bottom is more comfortable than I expected.

Best Infant Carry Cot Out There

KMT43

We were very excited to receive this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We had used a different carrying bassinet attachment with our previous child and could immediately see that the Carry Cot was a much better option in a variety of ways. Not only were we able to use the cot with the Graco Stoller on walks but we used it around the house as a modified bassinet while doing chores, watching tv etc. It was a good way to keep our baby comfortable and safe while being able to easily move the product into different rooms as needed. The design is beautiful and feels very high end and it is designed functionally well to keep the baby protected when out on walks. The cot was easy to attach and remove from the stroller and no instructions were needed to understand how to detach and attach to the stoller. We used both forward and backward-facing options and both were equally as easy to attach to the stoller. My one downside is that the cot is a little bulkier than other bassinet options but in the end, I think this was a benefit to us since we used it as a modified bassinet outside of just using it as a stroller attachment which I may not have felt comfortable doing if the bassinet was collapsible or a smaller design.

Graco Premier Modes Nest Carry Cot

GracoSwing

We’ve had a few other carry cot systems, but none compare to this one! The cot is very easy to install onto the stroller and then it is adjustable to match your preference of height. The stroller itself, is a must for any parent/caretaker. It glides and rolls like a breeze, on any surface. The carry cot itself, is very comfortable for baby and has just enough recline for them to be able to see the world ahead or sleep in peace. The sun shade is incredible! It has the breathable vent on the backside but baby is perfectly shielded from the sun. The look is second to none. Very modern and mom felt very stylish rolling up to her weekly group walks. She also received a lot of compliments! We were so excited to have been selected to test this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and know that we will be able to use this system for many years and kids ahead!

Comfort AND Quality

SuperSweet03

Graco thought of everything! How did I get through my other kids without this?! Comfort, convenience and quality throughout. This carry cot is genius! No more trying to transfer your little one from the stroller to their bed without waking them. It snaps into place with ease and the adjustable slide makes adjusting the height a piece of cake. We went to the zoo with this and not only is it lightweight and easy to use, the inside has great padding and it was a hit with the other mom's in the play area. They could not believe how functional it was and that it looked sleek too! I may have received this from Stellar Products to test in exchange for my honest opinion, but I would have bought it hands down just after the first use! Kudos Graco, thank you for listening to us moms on the important stuff!

Graco Carry Cot

The Graco Premier Modes Lux Carry Cot in Midtown is a great alternative to the toddler seat or car seat that typically comes with the stroller! It worked so well for walks for my son, as he fell right asleep! I love the sleek design as well as the quietness when pulling the shade up. This design was definitely made with attention to detail! I also love that this has the ability to fold down quick & easy! I would highly recommend this carry cot to new moms! We absolutely loved the opportunity from Stellar Panel Testing to test and review this product!

Graco Premier Modes Carry Cot

Audrey

I received this stroller attachment from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I used the carry cot in the Graco Modes stroller, and I found it challenging to remove from the stroller. The functionality is a really great concept as using a flat surface bassinet that can attach to a stroller promotes safe sleep. But I found it both challenging to install and remove. I would have to feel around and adjust to get the cot in the stroller. There is also the option for the bassinet to face the parent as they push the stroller, but I found the space from the end of the bassinet to the handlebar was slim. It can still attach, but I don’t find it to be done very easily. The design of the cot is quite luxurious, the padding and fabric feels nice and the cot as a whole is compact because it’s narrow. I don’t find it easy or feasible to make it flat each time of use as it isn’t that easy. But I really love that this cot is compact and can be folded. It is my favorite thing about this product as it is very beneficial to someone with not a lot of trunk space. I found it interesting that the top part of the cot uses velcro to secure on top of the cot. I think it makes it easier to take on and put on, which is nice for anyone on the go.

Great for naps

Niisha27

I currently have a 4 week old and we find ourselves using this mostly for enjoying naps out on our deck. The feature I personal like the most is the handlebar and how lightweight the product is. That makes it easier for me to transport the product around the house especially being 4 weeks postpartum. I know my little one enjoys the large canopy to keep him shaded from the sun and the removable foot cover to keep him cozy. It is easy, very easy it is to click in the stroller. Lastly, I like how sturdy and well made this product is. I trust my little one sleeping in here and I know he is protected. The only thing I dislike about this attachment is how bulky the product is and it does not fold down. Therefore, we only use this product at home. This product takes up too much space in a SUV. I was given this stroller attachment to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Did Someone Say Nap Time

ATLMama

I was given this stroller attachment to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and it is AWESOME! If you are familiar with the Graco Premier Modes Nest Travel System, you know that this company is all about convenience. The carry cot is beautifully made, comes with a soft, plush pad for your baby to lay on, and also comes with a cot cover to keep your baby warm during the cold months. It's currently summer where I live and it's been a bit hot to take my baby out for long walks, but I even pushed her around the house for testing purposes, and she fell right asleep. Other features that I like about the carry cot: It folds up into a flat, compact piece, so it doesn't take up much storage space. It's also SO easy to attach and detach the carry cot from the stroller, plus you can adjust the height based on your needs. It's a really great piece to have if you're someone who's on the go a lot, but also want to have a safe, mobile place for your baby to nap. All that said, the Graco Carry Cot seems like more of a luxury item than a necessity. The Graco Modes Nest Travel System stroller comes with a seat that can lay flat for napping purposes, so I'm not sure why someone would spend the extra money on this unless they just really wanted a true portable bassinet. Unlike the other Graco stroller attachments that I tried out, this piece only has one purpose. It gives your baby a place to lay down. It doesn't have straps, so it couldn't be used as a seat, and it's something that most babies would outgrow pretty quickly. My baby is only 3 months old, but she's already starting to roll, so I don't know how much longer I'll really be able to use this.

Bed On the Go for Babies

alissaj

I received this stroller attachment from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. So far I am impressed with this cot that easily goes on and off the stroller. I love the sleek look of it. It has also been so handy to use this to be outside with a little baby! My baby loves to sleep flat as opposed to in a carseat or stroller seat, so when he needs to take a nap when we are on a walk or just outside, he is able to much easier! The only features I do not like are that the cot does seem to be longer than necessary and skinny, and the cover that goes on the top is velcro, so it has to be all the way on or off.

Keeps baby out of the sun

Katy

I love how gorgeous the Graco Premier Modes Carry Cot looks in the stroller while taking a walk with my baby through the neighborhood. I get so many compliments! My favorite thing about it is the large canopy and the detachable foot cover. It’s summer time and I don’t want my baby to be in direct sunlight but it’s also too hot to cover him up with a blanket or a full onesie (my baby is under 6 months old so sunscreen is not recommended) and I love that the foot cover provides adequate coverage from those UV rays but is up high enough off his body that it allows for plenty of ventilation. I do love the depth and length of the carry cot because it does a great job at protecting him from the elements, but I will say it is a bit narrow which doesn’t leave a whole lot of “wiggle room” for my 3 month old but he’s definitely still happy and comfortable in it. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this gorgeous bassinet!

Perfect for grandparents and parents everywhere

jbingb

Feeling uber fortunate to have been sent this amazing Graco Modes Carry Cot/bassinet attachment by Stellar Panel to try out with the grandlittles for reviewing purposes. It’s a huge hit with the two who tested it and for sure with me! Any grandparents or new parents who find themselves with littles of varying ages (I love that I can have it here for whomever is visiting!) or are just starting out and expecting more, this is definitely the way to go! The babies who don’t love their bassinets at home didn’t mind hanging out in this one. The boot is snuggly, and the shade blocks the light. My only complaint is how big it is and how many different pieces to store (the stroller as well as the infant seat, toddler seat, bassinet), but I certainly also love having all of the options. It’s easy to change out the seats as well as have any sit rear- or front-facing, it has great shocks and smooth steering, and also big tires for more rugged terrain.

Excellent purchase!

Kersty

We did not purchase this with our first, but bought it for our second child so we could take walks with both littles. It is so worth the money and makes it easy to venture out with a newborn and older child. The ease of removing the bassinet from the stroller is unmatched and allows for all kinds of activities while maintaining a safe sleep environment for the baby.

Bulky but useful.

A A 504

The carry cot is a little bulky but my newborn slept so soundly in it. The toddler seat can fit (albeit closely) in front of the carry cot which is nice when my 2 1/2 year old is with me too.

Love this product.

GMLARSON

Great product but i did not need to purchase this as the stroller package i purchased can transform into the bassinet.

Love the Graco Modes carry cot! Perfect for newborn and infant walks.

Celebrating the Carry Cot

BedsideBassinet

We have LOVED the carry cot with our Graco Premier Modes stroller. Since baby boy has two older siblings we are constantly on the go and baby is taken along for the ride. This carry cot has been perfect for pool trips in the summer - baby boy can hang out & NAP while the big kids swim — HOORAY! My only wish would be for a larger canopy to protect more of my boy from the Texas sun. The carry cot is such a great idea to make babe more comfortable on longer stroller outings. They can stretch out or snuggle up for a nap. The extra cover for the top would have been perfect during Minnesota fall, winter and spring walks. We haven’t needed it in the Texas heat. I really appreciate how easy Graco made it to switch from one accessory to another. I would usually decide right before leaving if it was a carry cot day or not (spoiler: it usually was). Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving us the opportunity to try (and fall in love with) the carry cot!

Excellent Travel and Stroller Cot

JenF

I recieved this product for free through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I'm on my second child and never used a stroller cot with my first kid. This thing is awesome! The photos have my 2.5 month old daughter in them who's about 14lbs. It clicks right into the Graco modes stroller if you want to use it on walks. You can also purchase a stand for it through Graco if you want to use it as a travel cot. The material feels sturdy yet soft, and the sun shade completely protects the opening if you have the cover on. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a stroller cot, especially if you could use it for a travel cot also!

Great carry cot

Lallen

This carry cot is excellent if you 1) have a smaller size baby and 2) live in a colder climate. Our little girl was born prematurely, and so the thinner width of this cot was not a problem. For a larger and more chunky baby, I don’t believe they would fit for long. Also, the microfiber type material is a bit too warm when you live in the south like we do. This cot functioned well and was easy to attach and detach from the stroller. My favorite feature is that you can move the cot higher or lower, depending on the height you desire. It is also convenient to be able to have the baby face different ways, although we had her facing us. Over all, the design was perfect, but just needs more width. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller attachment.

Useful and Beautiful

Macai

I was given this stroller attachment to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and it has been so fun to use with my 3 month old. He is about 25" long and still fits nicely in this carry cot with room to grow. My favorite use for it has just been to have a portable bed for him that I can move from room to room or even transfer him to the stroller for a quick walk all while he sleeps or does tummy time in a safe space. We also are going on a few trips this summer and I think it will be great to have for his bed instead of hauling a heavy pack and play along. It collapses down nice and flat so it should be much easier to pack. The only drawback is that it is a little clunky to move around with a baby in it just due to the length and weight of it with the baby, it takes me a minute to get it aligned right in the stroller latches. It would probably be easier to do without the baby in it, but I almost always have him in there when I'm transferring locations so that he stays sleeping. Overall, it is very handy to have and a beautiful looking piece of baby equipment. The sleek cover and shade canopy look really nice and protect well from the sun when we are outside. Also the mattress cover and liner are machine washable, which is a big plus! I have been very happy with this product over all.

Incredibly convenient

Momof6

The entire Graco modes system is amazing but the Carry Cot is truly a must have accessory when your baby is still little. I love that it is so versatile! It can connect both with a stroller or in the carry cot stand. My family loves to go on walks so it is great to be able to take walks without worrying about whether it will interrupt our youngest one's nap time. I can let me son fall asleep in the carry cot while it is in on the stand and easily move him to the stroller, or vice versa. Attaching the carry cot is as easy as clicking it into place and it is so smooth it doesn't seem to jostle the baby at all. Removing the carry cot from one accessory so you can move it to the next is just as simple and easy. There is so little effort it feels like none at all. The carry cot itself is also quite well padded and, thanks to the all-weather boot, quite cozy. I don't worry about my baby sleeping in it at all. It is a safe space for him and one that appears quite comfy. The only thing I wish I could change would be making the cot itself a little bit lighter, but there's only so light you can get something without compromising other aspects (comfort, safety, etc). Overall, I definitely recommend this accessory to anyone with a young baby, or expecting a new baby, who has any part of the Graco Modes line that will work with it. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to receive this item in exchange for my honest review.

Protective and sleek

Lauren1

I received this product through stellar product testing panel. I use this carry cot for a safe sleep place for on the go travels or outside my home on the deck for easy access to my newborn. I love the look and cover being spf protected and warm for the baby. I have a fear leaving the baby in the car seat when not in the car so this carry cot has been an amazing alternative. I do wish it collapsed into a flat cot easier for on the go travels. I do love the option of connecting the carry cot to the stroller however when I have another one of my children with me it’s a little tight on the stroller. Overall great product.

Luxury addition to a great suite of products

windycitysmitty

Thanks to the generosity of the Stellar Product Panel, I was gift the Graco Modes Carry Cot at no cost to me. This is now being used for our 4th child (5, 3, 1.5, newborn) and I have to say, it is a luxury we did not have the first three times and now I cannot imagine life without it. It's one of those posh stroller attachments that we always longed for and admired but just never seemed 'necessary.' It is SO practical. We also have the Graco Modes compatible stroller system and carry cot stand and this carry cot has truly been a lifesaver in so many situations thus far. Typically when going for a walk, the baby falls asleep and car seats are too warm to leave them napping in so we transfer and inevitably, they wake up. With the carry cot, we go for a brisk walk - noting that this cot is intimate and cozy and the toe cover allows us to walk the baby without concern for the weather - and we're able to come home and leave her in the cot until she wakes up....up to a couple hours at times! It unlatches fairly easily from both the stroller and the stand (just a taddddd sticky at times) and allows uninterrupted sleep/transfer. I love that the canopy goes down so low for full shade and darkness and it's ingenius that the handle is built seamlessly into the shade. We have not washed the interior cover for the mattress but I imagine that's fairly intuitive as well to remove and wash. We've been able to bring this to my parent's house for naps and use to keep the baby safe and secure from our other kids and large dog when we place her in the stand or on the table. She has been taking longer naps in this than her crib at times so I am very grateful for the additional option. It's secure, safe, and overall just a wonderful addition to this Graco Modes suite of products. Very happy with this item.

Graco Carrycot Review

EaglesNest

We received the Graco carry cot as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The carry cot is spacious for a growing newborn. The interior provides comfort and cooling, while the sun shade and black velcro cover provide adequate shade, by far my favorite feature of the carry cot. There is a little window for fresh air/the ability to look at your baby, but could easily be covered to create a completely dark space for the sleeping baby. I mostly used the carry cot while on the go, by clicking into the Graco Travel System stroller. Taking the carry cot out of the stroller was not easy and I would be afraid to try it with a baby in it.

Great Travel Bassinet

Anonymous

I received the Graco Modes Carry Cot about a month ago as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. As the parent of a newborn and two toddlers, I am no stranger to the world of childcare products and have purchased multiple Graco products in the past. The Graco Carry Cot came completely collapsed, but can be assembled within minutes relatively easily (possibly after sneaking a hint or two from the instructions). Assembled, this relatively unassuming cot looks and feels solid-- the body includes four anchor points when putting the cot down on a flat surface. The bottom inside lining is soft and easy to maneuver, making it easy to replace/fit cover material as needed or even collapse the cot for storage/travel if desired. All linings and materials can be removed from the cot itself for washing as needed. This bassinet seems to be designed with travel in mind as the primary inspiration for design, so I am reviewing it from that angle. The slim profile provides a "snug" experience for baby, presumably in order to accommodate outside movement-- whether it be from carrying it into a backyard, up a flight of stairs, or from a moving/bumping/jostling stroller. With these kinds of activities in mind, the Carry Cot does a great job of keeping baby's movement from outside influences to a minimum. The handle is solid (as you'd expect) and between the (velcroed-on) top cover and the adjustable cloth hood, there are several options for adjusting baby's atmosphere/exposure. The bassinet itself attaches and detaches from both the Mode stroller and Carry Cot Stand (both sold separately) without issue. All the above in mind, its design to be more travel-oriented makes some of its features incompatible with everyday use for our family. The slim design means if you usually have baby sleeping in something like a sleep suit, or an otherwise bulkier garment, there simply won't be enough room. Even without a any sleeping garment, baby will have a very limited range of motion (which is something I personally prefer for a sleeping newborn or infant). You also are unable to see through the side of the bassinet, which means waking up in the middle of the night to visually assess baby's condition will require standing up. Again, these are things I think were intentionally designed to make this product more more compatible with movement in an outside environment but, at least in our case, it means this product's utility is very limited in any other situation. While you can set this bassinet up as a stand-alone (a dedicated stand with built-in basket can be purchased separately), both conflicts mentioned above make this incompatible with our needs/wants. Great for on-the-go if your baby prefers to sleep/travel in a bassinet, but you may want to look for something different to serve as your mainstay if you share similar preferences.

I received this product as part of Stellar Product Testing Panel. I would recommend this product to any family that is on the move. The carry cot was much larger then I expected but it is great for a growing baby and will last my daughter a long time. With the stand attachment it is nice for a spot for your baby when hanging outdoors or at a relatives house that isn’t baby friendly. We loved it for our back deck when hanging out but would be a great option for camping families or visits to grandparents house. I also liked that it attached to my stroller for walks with a newborn.

My baby loves it

Anonymous

We have been using our cot for the past few days (thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing us with it!) and my baby absolutely loves it! It’s nice and cozy yet spacious and fits my tall guy really well. My favorite thing about it is how it is multifuncional: I can take my baby for a nice stroller ride in it and, when we get home, I can go on with chores while he finishes his nap in there undisturbed. I can easily place the cot in a quiet place or right next to me instead of transferring him off of a regular stroller seat or car seat, as those are sure ways to wake him up. The built in carry handle is sturdy and allows me to easily carry him as I follow my active 3yo around, which you probably know: it’s non stop! It’s definitely nice when we need to move between floors. The cot is sturdy but so light, which is a big bonus because my little guy is on the 98th percentile for weight. The only reason why I rated it four stars is because it can be hard to detach it from the stroller and the stand. I’m not sure if it’s just because it’s brand new and has no give at all, but I find myself pulling really hard on it as I try my best to press the release buttons all the way. Not something that would make me change my mind about purchasing it, but worth noting. And honestly just better knowing it’s so secure than it being loose. I also love the large canopy and that the mattress pad has a machine washable cover. All in all, an awesome addition to our stroller system!

Great bassinet

SMcGarv412

Liked this bassinet much more than I expected! From its appearance out of the box, I thought it would be uncomfortably narrow. It is very long and skinny, but fits my little one great (he is 3 weeks old at this point but very tall). I don’t use it on the stroller, as I find the configurations that allow the carry cot to be rather cumbersome, and I prefer to push my older two kids in the stroller and wear the baby as he is much happier when held. I keep the carry cot downstairs (his crib is upstairs) do find myself placing him in the carry cot whenever he falls asleep. I can easily move it around the house with me so that I can keep an eye on him. Photo is of the current setup in my sitting room. I also love that it is a little bit higher than some other similar products (means less bending over - my back is grateful! - and also means that my two toddlers can’t reach him as easily, giving me some peace of mind). My favorite feature is the roomy basket in the stand - perfect spot to keep a few diapers and wipes for quick changes, extra pacifiers, blankets, a couple outfits for changing after those inevitable spitups. Such a convenient feature! I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Carry Cot

OCP22

The carry cot is easy to set up and is narrow enough for my baby to feel safe and secure while laying in it. It is soft and cozy. I love that the carry cot breaks down easily. The only drawback is that with the stand, it is a bit bulky to transport. Thanks to the Stellar Panel for allowing me to test this product.

Carried away

BNA5

When I received my Graco modes carry cot from Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was very excited. I have been looking for something easy to move around the house for my youngest especially since I have tile. When I first opened it I was disappointed to see there were no directions but luckily putting the carry cot together is rather intuitive and easy. I love how tall the Carry Cot is and how easily it attaches and detaches from the stand. I have twin two year olds who were super interested in checking out the Carry Cot and it surprised me with it's sturdiness, especially when they would lean on the side of it. So far I have used the Carry Cot the most downstairs in my living room, but I have also taken it upstairs for nap time, outside for some play time, and attached it to my Graco stroller which allowed my son to sleep easily on an afternoon walk. My favorite feature of the Carry Cot is the height, it is perfect for my height and setting the baby down easily as well as keeping my toddlers out of the baby's face. I will definitely be recommending the Carry Cot to others and plan to continue using it every day.

Quality Carry Cot

MamaOf8

Right out of the box with super quick assembly, this beautifully designed carry cot became a fave of mine. This carry cot is of great use to me at this stage of life right now. I have five young children—6, 5, 3, 2 and 2 1/2 months. So I must make sure our youngest is safe and secure each and every time I have to put him down or leave him alone for a moment. And, this cot made it possible to do so. I could easily move it room-to-room on its own and with its accompanying stand. The stand makes it extremely easy to just glide it slowly across the floor into each room. He loved being in this cot too—he seemed comfy enough for short periods of time. I was able to cook, organize laundry, wash dishes, vacuum and so forth without having to move him into different baby gear. The baby gear that would typically be needed in different areas around the house. This cot was able to do the trick everywhere within itself. Even outside with its capability to attach to the Modes Nest2Grow stroller system (and having a detachable cover for cooler weather). Making it even better when returning back inside there’s no reason to move him into something else right away (especially if he’s sleeping). Just detach from the stroller and place back onto the carry cot stand. Easy peasy to attach and detach from the stand and stroller. The only possible negative I could even think of (to give it 4 stars) is its weight capacity being that I have slightly bigger babies. They will grow out of the 20-pound max way quicker than smaller to average size babies. I love it for the time that I will use it. So, thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carry cot.

Great Travel Item for Infants

Gefshow

We received the Graco Modes Carry Cot from Stellar Products Testing Panel. This bassinet feature has been great for our newborn. This piece has allowed us a place for our newborn to be comfortable while strolling around the neighborhood when attached to the Nest2Grow Travel System. With the cover over top we know that the baby is kept warmer and protected from the wind. The bassinet is spacious and she will be able to use this item for a long time. It's nice to not have to have a piece where the baby is uncomfortably strapped in for easy errands or strolls, but I know she's safe due to the high, padded walls and mattress. If we wanted to just carry it around that wouldn't be a problem due to it being lightweight. It is just a little long, but allowing for baby's growth makes it comforting. We also love that this can attach securely to the Cot Stand and she can be elevated away from the toddler romping around. It is easy to attach and remove from that feature. The material is easy to clean and comes off in easy to reassemble layers. Very pleased with the Carry Cot and its reliability and ability to grow with our family!

Carry Cot

Alle

I use the carrycot when I go out for a walk or when my baby needs a nap. It's very convenient to use with both stroller and carrycot stand. While I wish the canopy was longer, the cot is lightweight and easy to attach and move around. Also, it is nice that the insert can be removed and washed. I was given this carry cot to try by the Stellar Testing Panel.

Great addition to stroller

AmberZ

Thank you Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to test this carry cot. This is the perfect accomplishment to the stroller and can also be used by itself. It has a large canopy that goes up and down easily as well as a Velcro foot cover to keep baby protected from the cold and sun. We’ve used the carry cot with the stroller and when staying at the in-laws for the baby to sleep in. It can be used on the floor (if has 4 small plastic feet to keep it slightly elevated) or with the cot stand.

Perfect for small babies and multi functional

ElizabethG

This carry cot was incredibly versatile and useful for us. With the carry cot stand I was able to use the carry cot as a bassinet for my baby. He found the cot very comfortable, the sides and mattress are very soft and he really seemed to like sleeping in it. The best part is when I was ready to head out for the day even if he was still asleep I could easily lift the cot off the base and carry it by the handle or attach it to the Graco Modes stroller frame. This allowed him to continue sleeping while I was able to walk wherever needed. The cot also has its own sunshade to help block the sun and wind and also has a really handy boot that attaches over the cot to cover everything that the sunshade doesn't. I found this extremely useful as it helped keep the cold and wind out really well. We will definitely get tons of use out of this carry cot and appreciate the versatility and well thought out design! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carry cot.

Perfect for newborn!

Mary27

I love the carry cot for walks with my newborn! 4 stars instead of 5 because the carry cot stand is no longer available.

Must have baby item!

TarJ

This has become one of my favorite baby items! I first bought it because it’s lightweight and after my C-section I couldn’t lift anything heavy, so I would transfer baby from carseat into the bassinet on the stroller when I had to go somewhere. I also love that it gets him out of the car seat and he is able to stretch out and move freely. I use it in the house with the stroller as an extra bassinet that I can move around to different rooms. I bring it to friends houses so I have a safe and comfortable place to put him down, let him sleep and even change him in it. We go for walks and he can look up at the sky in it. When it’s chilly I can bundle him up and still put him in the bassinet. At first I thought the bassinet attachment was a silly splurge but now I couldn’t live without it.

A bassinet you can attach to a stroller!

Mike D

Having a bassinet that you can attach to a stroller has been an excellent way for us to get our infant outside on walks. We find this to be a much better way for our infant to stroll than using a car seat. Our infants finds it much more comfortable and falls asleep much easier.

An awesome addition

Alec

This is the best extra attachment we could have wanted for a stroller. We received this stroller attachment as part of the Stellar Product testing panel and we’re so pleased. It makes the perfect addition for your regular stroller. Most have the ability to attach your car seat but having this attachment gives you so much more flexibility. It doubles as as bassinet for napping and you can move them from sleeping at home to out for a walk with ease. It also gives you the ability to let your baby move so much more. There is space for them to move and kick with the restraints of a car seat. It’s so easy to attach and remove with just a chick and a life. We loved it even more because we didn’t feel guilty if our little one babe fell asleep while on a walk, it’s just like sleeping in the crib. It’s also so slick looking!

Not for me

Kelsmcmunn

I was sent this carry cot as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I’m thankful for the opportunity to review it. I really love the design and fabric of this product with the quilted design! The assembly was overall pretty simple and straightforward. I love that it’s able to fold up flat if you want to store it. Unfortunately I think this is just something I won’t personally be using on a regular basis and I don’t think it’s very functional in general. I’ve been using it more as a landing space for my baby around the house/a bassinet kind of thing because I just don’t feel secure having my baby in this on the stroller. You’d only use this while the baby is really little and those are the days I’d want to baby wear on a walk anyways. This is just me personally but I wouldn’t be able to stop thinking about someone being able to just snatch the baby right out of the stroller since they aren’t even strapped in! It’s also a little awkwardly long so it just seems weird on the base. I guess for someone who likes to take walks on pretty even pavement (because again baby isn’t strapped in) this could be nice, but I just think it makes more sense to strap baby into something and they have seats you can recline to be more laid down in case you were to hit a big bump or even have the stroller tip over! Overall I think this would just take up space around my house so I wouldn’t recommend it.

Graco Modes Carry Cot

SecondSeat

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carry cot. I love this carry cot so much! It's deep with a removable mattress, long enough to get the maximum use and it has a carry handle. I've used this cot when traveling and set it on the floor next to me (has rubber footings). I mostly use it at home when I need to cook or handle anything requiring leaving the room. It clicks into stand pretty easy and removing it even faster. I like the adjustable canopy but usually keep it up. I adore how it comes with the all-weather boot. I feel like my preemie is extra cozy inside with an added layer of protection. It also makes the cot look more luxe. This is great in any space and it's surprisingly lightweight. I use this cot and stand daily! I like that I can keep the baby with me while safely separating snoozing away. The cot is a little more tricky to attach & remove from the stroller. It's not a deal breaker but can get frustrating if you're in a hurry. Overall, I'm super happy with this cot.

Great for a new baby or an only child

RuthieB

I received this product free in exchange for my honest review. Thank you, Stellar Product Testing Panel! The carry cot is fairly easy to set up. However, I had trouble finding the instruction book and was wondering if they forgot mine. I looked underneath the carry cot, and there is a pocket there for storing the instruction book. It's nice to have a place to store the instruction book right with the carry cot, but it is hard to find at first! Assembly of the carry cot is a little bit tricky, but fairly simple overall. You just need some good strong muscles to click things in place! There are no tools required. You have to pull off the top layers before you can pop out the bottom part, and then you put the top layers back on. It is also able to be disassembled again for storage. When I put the carry cot on the nest2grow stroller, I found it a little bit hard to get on right. You need to attach the accessory pieces that come with the stroller (the ones used to attach the car seat to the stroller) first before you can put the cot on. And then I found it very confusing to get off the stroller. However, I realize that I should have paid more attention to the illustration in the instruction manual and not just the words, and then I would have seen where the squeeze handles are to release the carry cot. So that was my problem. But even after I figured that out, it’s still not the smoothest to take on and off the stroller or the carry cot stand. It’s very doable, just not the easiest. The carry cot takes up a lot of space on the stroller. It goes very close to the handlebar when the handlebar is in the lowest position and you are using the second seat, but you can still get your hands on it easily. It's not bad when it's only the carry cot. However, if you are using the second seat in the front of the stroller, you can only use the carry cot and the second seat both facing you. That's not necessarily bad, just a side note. Also, there is enough room for the child in the front seat, but it's not extremely spacious. Since I have more than 1 child, I don’t like the carry cot on the stroller except with a very new baby (one that can’t sit in the regular seat) because of all the room it takes up. I like that the carry cot can be used other than in the stroller. You can get more use out of it that way, especially if you have the carry cot stand. A baby is in a bassinet for such a short period of time, so it might be worth it to just get this instead of getting a bassinet, if you feel that you need a bassinet for your stroller. Then you could use it in your house as a bassinet and transfer it to your stroller for use outside the home. It is not as wide as a normal bassinet, however, and does not have a bunch of special features that some bassinets do. It would just be simply a little bed. The mattress is fairly cushy and looks comfy to lay on though, so it would be a comfy little bed! With the carry cot stand, it makes a nice safe place for your baby if you have toddlers around. I used it in the kitchen so I could work and still have my baby in sight while he got some tummy play time in. Very handy to be able to get things done and still be able to be right there with him! I like the boot that comes with the carry cot. With that on and the hood all the way up, it creates pretty nice weather protection and a fairly dark environment for sleeping. The hood is fully removable. That's a nice feature! Things can get dirty (you can count on that), and it's nice to be able to remove and wash it. The liner and mattress are also removable and washable. It's also nice that you can carry the cot with one hand. When you have children, you often have to multitask. Things you can do with only one hand are always wonderful! I would say that I like the cot with the stand, but did not find it the very useful with the stroller because my baby can sit in the regular seat and because I have more then 1 child. I would recommend it for a very new baby or for an only child.

Kmack

This has made our walks with our little one so much better. It is easy to install and feels like great quality.

Comfortable and secure. Great for moms on the go

ThaisR

As a mom, I love this carry cot. It's very comfortable and secure for mu baby, easy to clean, the right size, and lightweight for carrying anywhere.

Perfect for outside strolls with baby

Madelynn

Love this bassinet with my baby and worked with my stroller frame we alredy had. Such a great product

Piece of junk

Ppoibtg

I HATE this thing. Wish I would have never got it. Just use the car seat. You can't put it in on or off with any ease. I have to take my baby out of the bassinet in order to get it off the stroller because you have to yank it so hard to get it off. PIECE OF JUNK.

Nice carry cot

Anonymous

Nice portable baby cot. Easy to install into stroller and take out as needed. Must be comfy as the baby likes to sleep in it.

We love it!

Tori1234

Great option for walks and around the house/on the live naps!

Really nice quality and very versatile for newborn

Tired Mom 4

I bought this to go on my Nest2Grow stroller as a downstairs bassinet. It works perfectly so that I can wheel my sleeping newborn around downstairs while my other children play in the playroom or when I'm doing dishes or whatever is needed. I didn't really want to keep running upstairs for to put the baby down for a nap. The carry cot is really nice quality and can be used to take baby outside in the stoller for a walk or to give him a place to rest when we are at grandma's house, etc. It's a bit expensive, but no more than a second bassinet, and this is a lot more versatile.

Good quality, could use a better canopy.

Zach M

You can tell it’s higher quality. I love that it can be detached and if baby is sleeping and carried with you and placed anywhere without a stroller. I have two complaints, the side walls should really be a more breathable fabric to prevent suffocation although this should only be used with supervision. Secondly my biggest complaint is the canopy doesn’t come very far compared to other brands, constantly have to drape a blanket over it to prevent the sun from coming in.

Graco stroller bassinet

Very convenient on the go for baby to sleep, attaches to the stroller quick and easy.

Worthless

Tracygrandma

Beyond mad. I have been building this collection for months for my niece as a gift. Got the stroller, carseat and got the carry cot and NOW I cant buy the stand its not for sale on gracos website. I have spent over $700 on this all. It cant be returned and the stand isnt available. So mad!!!!!!

Great for little baby

Kttiekat

Nice option for modes stroller when your baby is a newborn. Our daughter was born at 4lb14oz and definitely is too small for a stroller seat. Our car seat is a different brand than Graco so it would not attach to the modes stroller. So we ended up getting this bassinet as an infant carrier while she is still small. You can lower the sunshade and remove the boot covering. It also will fold flat if needed. The mode stroller had the adapters included so this attaches right to it. We have found it easiest to keep the adapters attached to the bassinet part since you can not fold the stroller with them still attached. I have had strollers including other gracos that “lay flat” or recline to almost flat but those were really for older children. This is a bassinet like a baby would sleep in just smaller.

Not worth it

Anonymous

Not worth it. Very narrow. It was better when the seat made a bassinet. They are just trying to make more money by selling attachments that are not easy to travel with.

Great for keeping baby comfy on walks

Alex2023

Great quality. Love taking our newborn for walks in it and she seems to be very comfortable in it. The cover is helpful to keep her out of sun and to shield her from wind on chillier days.

Ugly lining

tatiana930518

I liked everything except the inside lining which has huge warning signs on it. Is there any chance to send me an extra lining free of those signs? Just like the presentation shows when you purchase it.

False publicity

Alegra

Overall, it looks like a good bassinet. But the advertising is misleading. In the photos, the inside of the bassinet looks white but the product itself has a huge choking hazard warning labels on it. It could have been put elsewhere and the photos could have been true to the real product. The interior is not bad but is synthetic fabric, not cotton. I returned it back

Just so-so

Olga

Baby enjoys sleeping in it. It was a bit confusing trying to assemble it, but nothing extreme. It attaches securely to the stroller. Love the fact that it can be used as a bassinet or put on a stroller. Here are a few cons though. The latches that you use to secure the cot to the stroller frame is not in the middle of the cot. So while the cot is secure and you can't just lift it off the stroller frame, the cot does wobble and move slightly up and down. Another major issue for me is all the ugly warning labels that are imprinted on the lining of the cot in every language you can think of. I absolutely hate that. It makes it look cheap and not esthetically pleasing. I don't understand why not put the warnings on a paper, or as a sticker so it can be removed or at the very minimum sell other cot liners without the warning label on them. The sun protection visor can be bigger, it feels like it barely covers anything. Would have returned it, but I'm fostering a baby and desperately needed a cot. So ended up keeping it until I find something better.

too rickety for baby to sleep. we sent it back. can you confirm it was received and a credit will be issued. We have purchased many other products and are very happy with them.

Does NOT fit Modes Duo Frame

Young Mom

The sales listing specifies only that this attachment does not fit Modes 3 frames, but it does NOT fit in any position in the Modes Duo, for which I specifically purchased it. We have the frame from our Modes Element LX travel system so should at least be able to use the bassinet attachment, but the sales listing is inaccurate/incomplete.

Perfect Stroller Attachment for Infants

Anonymous

The Stellar Product Panel gave me this carry cot to test out for my honest opinion. Our family loved taking multiple walks a day around our neighborhood but our 2 month old is too little for the stroller seat. Using this bassinet allows me to use the stroller rather than a carrier to walk with him which is great. I was afraid he wouldn’t like it because he doesn’t like being on his back but he loves it and I’m thrilled! We use it all the time. I thought the canopy wouldn’t give enough shade but it’s actually perfect. I haven’t had a chance to use the cover because it’s too warm out but I love that we have it for when it’s colder. I also love the color and quality. It looks like a luxe product. It was super easy to put together (took maybe 5 minutes tops, including taking it out of the box) and so easy to take on and off of the stroller which is nice for when he falls asleep on a walk. We can just take it off easily without waking him and bring it inside. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because he’ll probably grow out of it in a few months so it’s not a product that will be used for a long time but since we walk so much and are planning on having one more, it’s worth it to me.

A nice luxury but not necessary

KimberlyT

Overall, the Graco Modes Carry Cot is a nice luxury to have with a newborn but is not totally necessary. If you plan on using the carry cot both as an attachment on the Graco Modes Nest2Grow Stroller and in place of a bassinet for your baby, I recommend this attachment. If you are not intending to use the carry cot for multiple purposes, I do not personally think it is worth the purchase. The carry cot itself is a good size for a newborn, offering enough space for them to grow as well as keep them safe while on a walk or sleeping. Materials used for the carry cot are nice and soft for baby's delicate skin and are easy to clean when soiled. I was also impressed that the mattress portion seemed to give baby more support and comfort versus competitors with thinner, more stiff mattresses. Both the walls and base of the cot are sturdy to keep baby protected. The carry cot is easily assembled for use and collapsed for travel or storage but is a bit on the heavier, more bulky side. When attaching and detaching the carry cot from both the carry cot base and the Nest2Grow Stroller, it was very easy gliding on and off. Unfortunately, when it comes to the functionality of the cot, I personally found multiple areas for improvement. When using the carry cot with the stroller and secondary seat, it is very difficult for a shorter person to see baby's face inside the cot. Because the cot has to be placed in the higher position on the top spot of stroller base to accommodate the seat below, it is harder to see the baby with the cot cover being used. A negative with the cot cover included to help shield baby from sun and wind as well as keep baby warm, is that the lip of the cover does not stay in place. Personally I think it would be helpful to have a small piece of velcro attached to keep the lip in secured to better see baby while on walks. When it comes to using the carry cot in place of a bassinet, it works great for supervised daytime naps but due to potential breathability issues with the walls, I would not personally use it for nighttime sleeping. I found the carry cot was helpful during the day as a place for my newborn to sleep, keeping her up and away from my energetic toddler when used in conjunction with the carry cot stand. For this use, both the carry cot and carry cot stand worked perfectly together. Unfortunately, I did not like the carry cot when used with the stroller and actually preferred using a Graco brand car seat with "click connect" for my newborn as I did not have a good view of my baby, and the cot just felt clunky atop of the stroller. For this reason, I do not recommend the carry cot as a requirement to the Nest2Grow travel system but more as a luxury since the functionality did not prove necessary for my purposes and babies will quickly grow out of the carry cot. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this carry cot.

Carry Cot

Anonymous

I wasn’t too optimistic about this cot at first. I wasn’t sure how to put it together, and I didn’t see the instructions in the box. I finally found the instructions after looking at the bottom of the cot and finding a Velcro pocket. Afterwards it went together quickly. It did take a little muscle snapping the supports into place, but once it was all finished it felt nice and solid. It’s not the lightest cot, but the balance is good and the slightly squishy rubber (foam?) handle makes it easy to lift and maneuver. It also seems to be made out of a durable fabric that seems like it will last through several babies. The cot has several feet around the perimeter to make sure it doesn’t tip when on the ground. Mostly I’ve been using it in the cot stand to keep it at a more convenient height. It doesn’t drop right down into the stand snaps as easy as I would like and does take a little bit of force. It’s really easy to remove by squeezing the levers on both sides. This cot is nice to have in our main room so we can keep an eye on the sleeping baby during the day when not putting her down in her own room. I received this cot as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel

Reddit users generally view the Graco Premier Modes Carry Cot as stroller-appropriate but not suitable for unsupervised or overnight sleep, and often prefer other solutions (true bassinets, pack and plays, or UPPAbaby-style systems) over investing in the Graco carry cot attachment.

Community Q&A

Is the Graco Premier Modes Carry Cot safe for overnight or unsupervised sleep?
Reddit consensus is no: it’s fine for supervised naps but not recommended for overnight or unsupervised sleep because the manual warns not to leave the child unattended and the sides are not fully breathable.
Can I use the Graco Premier Modes Carry Cot as a primary bedside bassinet?
Most commenters advise against using it as the main bedside bassinet, suggesting a crib, pack and play, or a bassinet that is explicitly sleep-rated instead.
Do I really need to buy the separate Premier Modes Carry Cot if I already have a Graco Modes Pramette or similar stroller?
Many users feel the added cost and limited lifespan of the carry cot aren’t justified if your stroller seat has a pramette mode that lies flat, unless you specifically want the aesthetics or separate bassinet-style attachment.
Is the carry cot safer than the pramette mode for a newborn?
The discussions suggest that both are fine for supervised, on-the-go use with newborns; neither is treated as a certified overnight sleep space, so parents still need a separate safe-sleep surface at home.

Compared To

vs Graco Modes Pramette seat in bassinet/pram mode

Some users feel the dedicated Premier Modes Carry Cot offers a nicer lie-flat environment but most consider the pramette mode sufficient, especially given that the carry cot is not sleep-rated and is quickly outgrown.

vs UPPAbaby Vista / Cruz bassinet

Commenters note that the UPPAbaby bassinet is specifically rated and vented for safe sleep, while the Graco Premier Modes Carry Cot is not, leading some to recommend UPPAbaby (with bassinet stand) if sleep in a stroller bassinet is a priority.

vs Pack and play / travel cribs (e.g., Guava Lotus) and full-size crib

  • Pregnant user asks if Graco Premier Modes Carry Cot is safe for use as bedside bassinet and at a work desk

OP considering the Nest2Grow travel system wants to use the compatible Graco Premier Modes Carry Cot as both a bedside bassinet and a sleep spot next to their WFH desk; top replies cite the carry cot manual’s warning to “NEVER leave child unattended,” interpret that as meaning it’s only for supervised sleep in stroller-type scenarios, note the non-mesh sides and suffocation risk once baby rolls, and recommend instead a crib, pack and play, Guava Lotus, or a sleep-rated bassinet like the UPPAbaby option if overnight sleep in a bassinet is desired.

  • Comparing Graco Modes pramette position to the separate carry cot attachment

A pregnant user asks whether there’s a meaningful safety or comfort difference between using their Graco Modes stroller in pramette mode and buying the separate carry cot; replies suggest both options are fine for walks and supervised newborn use, but neither is treated as an overnight sleep solution, and several people question whether the carry cot is worth the extra cost and storage needs given its short period of use.

  • NewParents thread clarifies what the Graco Modes Pramette can and can’t replace

OP is confused about whether the Graco Modes Pramette stroller setup can replace a bassinet or carry cot; commenters explain that while the pramette mode provides a flat, newborn-friendly surface similar to a carry cot for outings, it still isn’t an officially sleep-rated bassinet, so parents should plan on a crib or pack and play for regular sleep and regard both pramette and carry cot as stroller accessories rather than primary sleep spaces.

  • Canadian parents compare Graco Modes system and its accessories to UPPAbaby strollers with sleep-rated bassinets

In a BabyBumpsCanada discussion about choosing between the Graco Modes travel system and UPPAbaby Vista/Cruz, several commenters highlight that UPPAbaby’s bassinet is explicitly rated and vented for safe infant sleep and can be used on a stand by the bed, whereas Graco’s accessories like the carry cot are treated more as stroller add-ons; some users ultimately favor UPPAbaby if they want a stroller bassinet to double as a primary sleep space, while others stick with Graco plus a separate crib or pack and play.

  • NewParents debate between Graco Modes Trio and Modes Pramette and how much extra bassinet-style gear is really needed

A new parent weighing Graco Modes Trio vs Modes Pramette gets feedback that the pramette-style flat mode or a separate carry cot are nice-to-have for newborn walks but not essential, since babies grow quickly and most sleep will still occur in a crib or pack and play; commenters caution against overbuying dedicated bassinet or carry cot pieces when multi-use gear can cover most practical needs.
