It is dual‑sided (firmer infant side / softer toddler side), has a reinforced triple‑laminated waterproof vinyl cover with lock‑stitched binding, polyester fiber top layer and an airflow pocket; it meets federal flammability tests (16 CFR 1632/1633) and is GREENGUARD Gold, JPMA and ASTM certified, made in the USA, and is cleaned by wiping with mild soap and warm water (flip/rotate every 2–3 months).

Sturdy mattress!
My daughter-in-law is expecting our first grandchild and I wanted something sturdy for the new baby. Did my research and read the other reviews and I am very happy with this product. I like that is has a wipeable coating so that you can keep it clean, sanitary and free of germs. I would recommend this for other new moms.
