New Safety 1st Grow and Go Extend ‘n Ride LX All-in-One Car Seat (Black Pepper)

Best kids car seat in the market. Had a different one that was using from my previous kid but my younger son was getting dizzy and vomiting every time we use that one. As soon as I put him with the safety 1st grow and go extend N ride the motion sickness and constant vomiting were no more. Love how sturdy, comfortable and how easy to use this kids car seat is. Would definitely recommend it to anyone to get it over any other brand that is over price and don't even offer what this one those. My kid loves the snack tray on the sides and the cup holder, but more that it has a place for him to rest his feet and feel more ccomfortable. This would be a game changer for anyone looking for a baby car seat.

This is an excellent car seat, especially for families with multiple ages of young kiddos. We love that it can grow with your child. There are several features we love, including the comfort of the seat. The padding looks very comfortable and the baby never complains about being in it. The other thing we really like is the footrest. My kids especially like it in the winter with heavy boots. My toddler absolutely loves this feature. I enjoy the cup holder and snack holder. It is easy to put in the dishwasher and clean. I will definitely purchase another one of these.

So not gone lie this car seat came at the perfect time. My daughter is six months old and has grown out of her car seat so it was time to get a new one. Now the reason I love this car seat so much is because it's an extend and grow which means I won't have to buy another car seat any time soon. Lol. My daughter seems to be a bit more comfortable and not to cranky when I put her in this car seat. I love the little side panels as well because it keeps her head and neck secured even when she falls asleep. I love that getting it in and outta the car is super easy.

The seat is easy to install and easy to adjust. Very comfy and I love the snack and cup holders. It's pretty bulky, so older kids may prefer something lower profile. My 90th percentile 2½ year old is still within the rear-facing limit, but he won't be for long, because of his height. For taller kiddos this may not be a good option for extended rear facing. I think my son will make it to right around his 3rd birthday rear facing in it. Then he'll have to be forward if still using this seat, but he should have quite a while that he's within the harness limits. Overall it's a great value for the amount of time it can be used. The manual has easy to understand instructions for how to remove the cover to wash it, which is very handy.

Grandparent of two. Bought this as a replacement seat for my 4 year old grandson after my car was totaled in December. He's a little guy, so I wanted something with the harness option and the ability for him to grow with the seat. He requested a "comfy chair," so I did some online searching. Our whole family has used safety1st seats and appreciate the quality of materials and workmanship. I bought this model for the special features, including the footrest, cup holders and easy adjust height control. The fabric and padding are thick. He likes the shape of the seat around the top since he feels like his head is protected. Very easy to install and adjust. Still playing around with positioning the footrest to get it just right. I would highly recommend safety 1st products and their "#sweepstakes" is an added bonus!

I have loved safety 1st's products for a long time. I was struggling with my youngest being rear facing because she was out growing her seat and then I got this one and it is just absolutely amazing! She has so much room to grow and when it's time to forward face her it will be just so good for her! I highly recommend this car seat to any new or seasoned parents! 100% worth it!

I was so excited to see this car seat. I am already a huge fan of anything Safety First puts out. I loved the quality with my kids and now with my grand daughter. It was so simple to put in and adjust to her size. I really love that she will be able to use it for a long time. She seems to be very comfortable in if. I love how sturdy it is.

I received a free sample of this product in exchange for my honest review. This car seat has a lot going for it. It's well-designed, looks good, and has useful features. The two cup/snack holders are great for little kids, whether you allow them to eat/drink in the car or not, because mine have loved using them to store toys. The "grow with your child" aspect of the seat is another great feature, as is the foot rest that you can adjust depending on whether your child is rear or forward facing. My main issue with the seat is that the latch tethers are lower quality than I would want, being more like metal clips than the higher quality latch systems with button releases, etc. The latch tether is also harder to tighten sufficiently than I expected, and obviously that's important for the safety and function of the seat. Overall, however, based on the likely price point, this is a good value. I would recommend this as a moderate level budget option.

I love the ease of installation for this car seat. The leg extension is my favorite part to allow my son to ride more comfortably. The added cushion is great for keeping baby cozy and comfy. I also love the location of the cup holders because my son can't reach too far right now so having one that is within arms reach is perfect for us.

This is fantastic. It's like the fully loaded car of carseats. I love how you can continue using it as they grow instead of using to buy another seat. It is nice and comfy and protects your baby while riding. I love all the extras like the cup and snack holder and the foot rest. Your baby rides safe, comfy, and in style.

Ok first off I am impressed. I love the design and comfort of this car seat. It grows with your child and will support from infant to child booster. It has 2 cup holders and one with cover. It has a feet stand too which is great for kids to keep their feet. The built is very nice and comfortable.

The only thing keeping this from getting 5 stars, is the hooks that you use to keep the carseat in place. The older version of this one had a buckle type release, so it was easier to manuver from car to car. But this is amazing and my toddler really loves it.

My almost 2 year old loves this seat and seems so comfortable it in. I love the little mess-free snack cup that is included and she enjoys the extra leg room! This is a great seat to have that will surely grow with my girl over the years!

Heavy and bulky not what I expected we'll keep using it only because it costs so much but I wouldn't buy again . The cup holders fall out , the material rips easily and the foot rest is hard to move

My daughter has special needs and needed a larger carseat I could still rear face. This seat works perfectly for her and she will be able to grow with the seat!

As a parent of a two year old, one of the most important investments for my child has been her car seats! When looking for the perfect car seat, these are the criteria that must be met: first and foremost, safety! quality construction, overall comfortability and easy to maneuver between two different cars. This car seat meets all of these points and more! And it looks extremely stylish in the process! Even my daughter is always so excited to get into her car seat when it's time to get in the car which should show you how awesome this thing really is because what kid is ever excited about getting in a car seat?!? Lol Overall this is such a high quality car seat and features some great additions like the adjustable foot rest and the two cup holders, one of which is perfect for holding snacks! It also is very comfortable, provides incredible protection and best of all it's one that will grow with her since kiddos are forever growing, so having something that will last her for the years to come is awesome and definitely worth the investment!! The only negative thing I can possibly say is that it is pretty large in size, because once again it does grow with your child so even a four year old will be able to fit in here, so it is a little more bulky in the car than other car seats I've used BUT with that being said it still provides everything I want in a car seat and more and I'm absolutely happy with this and would recommend it to anybody in the market for a new car seat!

We received the Safety 1st Grow and Go Extend N Ride - Purple in exchange for a review. Overall it's a quality product. I believe the seat will last through its expiration without failing. I enjoyed how it converts as your child gets older, this feature will be very economical for many parents. I found the names for the color of the change slightly odd, the purple chair was advertised as wine. The other chair colors were also alcohol based, sort of weird for a child's vehicle related safety item. Additionally the chair will not work very well for travel, this will required being installed and leaving it. Overall the safety features of the chair were adequate and the chair is a good looking item.

A carseat with a foot rest AND snack container?! Plus relatively easy to install and adjust - we're in love with this car seat! The foot rest does get a little funky with a smaller car and rear facing, but I think we'll all be thrilled once we move our daughter to a forward-facing seat - the foot rest will be perfect. I also see the footrest being really nice for travel...we'll be testing that out in a couple months! And the snack holder - my daughter is obsessed. I do wish it was a little easier to remove just the snack holder for ease of cleaning, but it's not TOO annoying. Safety 1st isn't a brand I would have necessarily considered for a car seat in the past, but I'm so pleasantly surprised by this seat!

As a mom of 3 I wish I would have had this car seat with my first born. It's gets costly when you have to buy a new car seat after each stage. I love the easy transition from infant to booster. My daughter just moved up to Booster and I always get nervous about the lack of safety from the car seat to booster but with this one I feel confident in the safety of it. There's more cushion and she still gets to have all the fun features of a car seat like the footrest and cup holders but also feels like a big kid with the seatbelt!

I love this car seat. It has so many great pluses to it. The big ones for us were the step/footrest. My little guy has always struggled with his feet dangling and ends up kicking everything or resting them on the front arm rest. The foot rest has essentially stopped that from happening. The other big one is the removable drink holder AND snack holder with a lid! His old car seat cupholders we're not removable and I always struggled to clean them. Then the lid is great for those on the go snacks.

This is a wonderful car seat. I love that it goes from the newborn stage all the way to the booster phase. I am currently using it in the 5 point harness stage, forward facing for my middle child, but I converted it to the rear facing stage for my youngest as well. It is super easy to install and adjust. I love that it doesn't have to be re-threaded to adjust the height. The cushioning is very soft, and I've had no complaints from my kiddos. Highly recommend!

We have three kids and we'be been a loyal purchaser of another year forever-brand type car seat. This seat is better than the ones we've purchased previously. I love all the features and the foot rest. The foot issue was a big one with our other seats because once we gave them forward they don't like not having somewhere to put their feet. This car seat was super Easy to install and get set up. My son loves it and we are very happy with it.

As a mom of 3 I wished I would have had this car seat with my first! I love how easy the transition is from baby to big kid. My daughter just moved up to the booster seat. One of my concerns is the safety from car seat to booster it makes me nervous when I have to make that transition. With this car seat I feel confident that it's safer than most boosters. Plus my daughter loves the adjustable footrest for her dangling legs!

PROS: good quality construction, versatile design, able to be used from infancy through childhood. many cupholders including a silicone "secure" cup/snack holder. secure locking design. my kid loves the foot rest feature. CONS: locking/secure mechanism is outdated and does not have modern latch system. foot rest could be a little cumbersome because it takes up a lot of space.

This product is perfect! After my son outgrew his infant carseat, I wanted an easy-to-install and simple convertible seat. I love how this has the extendable footrest. It's going to be easy to clean which is an important factor for me. I like how it can remain rear-facing for up to 40 lbs.

As soon as we received it we installed it and went for a ride! Super easy to install. The little cup holder for snacks is seriously a life changer I wish My old car seats had it when my other two kiddos were my daughters age. She absolutely loves it and rides so comfortably in it.

I spent well over an hour struggling to install this car seat securely. I even went to the fire department and they gave up and sent me to find someone with car seat certifications to install it. Long story short the car seat fell on its side when my baby was in it.

I received this carseat as part of a review program. As a comparison, I have been using the Graco Extend2Fit 3-in-1 carseat and will compare the Safety 1st carseat to my Graco one. First of all, the Safety 1st carseat has an additional section of lumbar padding that I think makes it more comfortable for my toddler. Before we installed the carseat, he kept wanting to sit in the seat at home. Secondly, the footrest allows for a higher vs a lower footrest, so if your toddler wants their feet straight out, that's possible, or if your toddler wants their feet dangling, that's possible with this carseat as well, whereas my Graco only extends straight out. There are not as many reclining positions for the carseat, which was a downside, because my toddler loves napping in the car. I do appreciate that the cup and snack holders on the side require a safety lock to remove, so that they can't be easily taken off and thrown around, unlike the Graco ones. I'd say all in all, they are very similar, but this seat has the additional lower footrest and also lumbar support.

After reading some mixed reviews, I decided on this car seat and I love it so far. It's a little too big in my backseat but it works and I love how my little one can use it for a long time. Also the little foot rest is a bonus

This is a great car seat. My 3 years old son really loves the footrest. The snack and cup holder with the lid is very convenient. I love extra cushioning. It is a very comfortable car seat. Definitely recommend.

I like it because of the color, it's not heavy. It turns into 4 different carseats into 1. The only two things I dislike is the foot rest… it kind of gets in the way… especially for someone who use's ride share to transport their children. It would be great for long term car ride usage for those who drive a car. The second thing i didn't like. Is when i went to adjust the harness because my daughter is about 3 feet and 27lbs. I had to feel around for it… then adjust the strap to get it long enough to grab it and hook the straps into place. So essentially there's a blind spot in the back for adjusting the harness straps. But overall. It's a nice car seat. The cup holder's are great.

My initial thoughts are the quality seems good and sturdy. My 15 m/o son was not fussy of squirmy so it seems to be comfortable for him. Admittedly we have only had to opportunity to use it on a few short rides as it is a third vehicle car seat.(primary two cars have graco 10 seats.) I am exited to see how it adapts as he grows. The quality does seem higher than my other two seats. Only complaint is that the anchor points are not as universal/versatile as other seats i have used.

The car seat is made with very good quality material and feels really good to the touch. My grandbaby appears to be very secure and comfortable in the seat. I like that the seat is adjustable to meet the need of the child or adjust to the shape of your seat. His body and head are secure and his head doesn't flop forward when he falls asleep. I've falling in love with how secure he feels in the seat when I place him in it. The one downfall to the seat is the opening to secure it in the car is VERY small and hard to get my hand through in order to get the seat belt through. It would be impossible for someone with a larger hand to get teir hand through to secure the seat down. I haven't been able to try out the foot stand yet, however, I'm sure my grandbaby will love having the addition.

This car seat arrived the other day and I couldn't get over how lightweight it was. I didn't have a manual in the box which made me a little nervous because usually car seats can be a pain. There was a QR code on the side of the car seat with easy, how to videos which made setup a breeze! The cup holders unscrew and pop out for easy cleaning, love the foot rest and the additional padding for comfort. My toddler is so happy with his new seat.

I like that this car seat is convertible so I can use it as a booster seat as well. Easy to install, great quality, doesn't move around. The safety first go and grow extend to ride car seat has many great features. The cup hold is designed perfect so that cups don't move around and you can even put snacks inside. The extend for legs is perfect for my son who is on the tall side. The car seat is for rear or forward facing. Overall this seat is perfect and I would absolutely recommend to parents!

What we love about this seat is that it is truly an all in one, they really put everything in this one seat that your child would need for every stage. 3 cup holds, fittings for different sizes , adjustable seat fittings. But what amazes us is the the foot rest, it is really a smart idea that helps your kids have some dependents climbing into the seat when they are older. A truly long term great buy!

This carseat is the best. I'm always intimidated with new carseats. They seem difficult to unpack and install. This carseat was neither. It was very easy to install and adjust simple clicks and lifts of the handles made it all a breeze. My little is sitting super comfy in their new seat their lil head and shoulders sit right where it needs to be I think we're going to be happy happy happy with it.

This by far is the best car seat I have tried for my child. I love the reclining options for backwards facing and the positioning for the forwards facing. It comes with three cup holders and the headrest raises to fit your child's specific height. I would highly recommend this car seat to anyone that has an infant toddler or to use as a booster seat !

This is a pretty solid car seat, I got it today and I am pretty familiar with car seats I feel like I've had enough to know if they are gonna be good or not right out the box. This one has neck strap cushions that go into the back of the car seat to help prevent the straps from hanging and it made it so easy to put my son in i didn't have to search behind him for them. The best buckle is great also I kept the belt buckle pad to help it stay in place you don't have that option with many usually once u take the newborn insert out the buckle holder comes out to. I did receive purple free from bzzagent and I have a boy but it's such a pretty deep purple, he has shirts this color we love it actually. It was super easy to install in the Jeep we own, the car seat is very sturdy and overall we love it! Thank you bzz agent and dorel for selecting us to participate in this free car seat. My son looks so comfortable and happy. He even took a nap in it on the way back from Walmart and his head never fell forward or tilted it helped keep his head up and where it should be. It does take up a good amount of space but that's ok for us, it really depends on if you have the space or not it's worth trying tho if you are in the market for a new car seat. My 2 year olds feel don't have to dangle his feet no more either the foot rest is such a great bonus! It's also easy to put the foot rest in the position that works best for you.

I have a toddler with car seat trauma who hates the car seat but this seat has turned it around , the structure in the shoulder straps keeps it from pressing on his neck and feeling trapped while keeping him snug and safe! We love the foot rest and adjustable features! We are a foster family and have tried every car seat under the sun ! This one gets a 10 out of 10 from me !!

well made car seat, i know as my daughter grows this will grow with her. fits in my small car better then other car seats with no complicated instructions. the cover on the cup/snack holder is nice and keeps goldfish from getting all over the car. the foot rest is nice so her feet dont just dangle off the chair. keeps her from kicking the back of the passenger seat

I love how this is going to grow with my child from birth to toddler. I love the footrest it has as well. This is a must have for expecting parents. One carseat from birth to toddler if not longer. It's perfect. I love how much it's padded for and it's rate highly for safety which is a big plus for me and my family. DEFINITELY PURCHASE if you can.

I love this car seat so much. It is very well padded, the EZ out harness system makes getting the shoulder straps on and off so much easier and my kids love the foot rest. I use this car seat for multiple children and I love how easy it is to adjust the straps to fit each child.

So easy to install and fit great in my Chevy Cruze. I had also purchased the trimate for my in laws vehicle and it was more difficult to manage. I also didn't like that I had to guess which recline level it was on. This seat however has a convenient numbered label that lets you know which recline level you have it set. The foot rest is a great bonus… very ergonomically inclusive ??

We love this car seat! Our baby is very comfortable in it and it's very easy to install in our car following the instructions. I love that even though our baby is rear facing now, this car seat is going to grow with her as she grows and I can use it for many months or years ! This Safety 1st Grow and Go Extend N Ride car seat is everything I have been looking for. I really like that it can be used from the time baby is born and will grow with the child into a safe toddler car seat, then a booster seat once the child is older. It can be used rear facing when the child is young, with adjustable reclining positions that help make the seat not only comfortable for the child but also find the best fit for your car! The padding of the car seat is beautiful, vibrant, cushiony and very comfortable for my baby. The headrest area provides extra safety as well as comfort for children who fall asleep during car rides. I was very impressed by and really love the foot rest that can be adjusted to numerous different positions to allow the child to rest her or his feet comfortably during car rides or if desired just support dangling legs. The car seat is sturdy, not too heavy to move from one vehicle to another if necessary, and I like that it is very quick and easy to install in the vehicle. There's no undoing the seatbelt required to adjust to a taller toddler height, simply press the handle at the top of the seat and slide it up and the seatbelt will automatically be at the right height for the taller child. Another fantastic feature is the removable cup holders, one regular cup holder, a second one that allows sippy cups with handles, plus a third snack cup with spill proof design, all of which are removable for easy cleaning and even dishwasher safe. This car seat is awesome and keeps safety first in mind, just like the name promises! I would definitely highly recommend it, Safety 1st child products are always dependable and of great quality!

This Grow and Go Extend N Ride, LX by Safety 1st is truly an all-in-one convertible car seat that grows with your little one. This seat has two cup holders plus a snack holder that can easily be cleaned, along with an adjustable footrest for added comfort. (While i think the footrest is a neat feature, it did not fit well in our car unless the front seat was really far up.) This car seat can be used rear-facing mode, forward-facing mode, and booster seat mode, and includes lots of detailed instructions and pictures to help you get the best fit. The seat's headrest moves up or down to adjust the height and harness, which is a great feature, and the front buckle can be easily adjusted as well. The entire pad comes off fairly easily for washing and has specific instructions, and the cushion itself looks and feels very comfortable. My 3.5 year old is now forward facing and seemed to enjoy the seat, but was most excited about the cup holders and snack tray. Overall, I feel like this is a great seat that transitions as your child grows for a maximum of 10 years and installing it is quite easy.

This was the perfect car seat to replace our infant car seat with. I truly love the foot rest feature that can be used both in rear face or front face. My son seems so much happier in his new car seat and it is so easy to get him in it and out of it. Thank you Safety 1st!

I spent almost $300 on this car seat and it move way more then and then 1 inch and flips over if you turn or break to hard when installed properly after spending $300 on this had turn around and go buy graco brand for $200 and that breaks even moves a inch when installed properly safety 1 st need do recall on all there car seats bc two family members have saftey 1st brand and have same trouble I was having when being installed properly THESE CARSEATS ARE NOT SAFE !!!!
