Community Q&A

Is the Yoyo 3 fold easy?
It's secure but clunky and requires two hands; some prefer other brands for smoother fold.
Can the Yoyo be used from 6 months?
Yes, the 6+ color pack fits from 6 months, but many parents switch earlier for bigger babies who outgrow the bassinet.

Yoyo has a clunkier fold but offers better one-handed push and seat back pocket.

vs Bugaboo Butterfly 2

Butterfly 2 is heavier and bulkier; Yoyo is preferred for compactness.

Source Threads

  • Stokke Yoyo 3 vs competitors

I am very happy with our Yoyo3, but the Joolz Aer+ or Aer2 seem great and have a better fold. I love the compactness of the Yoyo and ease of carrying it. I don’t mind the fold, but it’s a lot clunkier than some others. The Butterfly 2 is a beautiful stroller but was too heavy/bulky by comparison. The Yoyo basket is a bit awkward to stuff things in, but the extra pockets in the back of the seat are so great and more useable than some other brands’.

  • New Stokke Yoyo as travel stroller

I have the yoyo which is compatible with the nuna pipa car seat, this is the combination we use both for travel and day to day use since it’s so light and comfortable!

  • Question about seat recline on Yoyo 3

We have the Yoyo2 and the seat doesn’t recline very far back which is something to consider for naps. The Yoyo3 recline is pretty much the same.

  • Transitioning to 6+ color pack early

We switched to the 6+ at 3.5 months because our baby was way too big for the bassinet. She’s much happier now.
