Advice on buying AM vinyl from Amazon vs. local stores
The AM vinyl sounds incredible. It's one of my favorite records to spin. But buying from Amazon is hit or miss. I've received warped records from them. If you can, support your local shop. I got my copy from a local store and it's perfect.

Response from AM recording company about vinyl mastering
The vinyl master is indeed different from the CD/digital master. It has much more dynamic range. The digital version is heavily compressed. The vinyl sounds open and dynamic, especially on tracks like 'Do I Wanna Know?' Some 2020 represses have slight speed issues, though.

New fan asks about vinyl availability for AM
You can easily find the AM vinyl on Domino's site or most record stores. It's widely available. The standard black pressing sounds great. I would avoid the picture disc if you care about sound quality.

Five-year album discussion praises vinyl's dynamics
The vinyl is the only way to truly hear this album. The CD is brickwalled to death. The vinyl opens everything up. You can actually hear the decay of the guitars and the subtle ambient details. It's like hearing it for the first time. Total game changer.

Essentials listening club review of AM vinyl
My copy had some surface noise on side B, but after a good wet clean it mostly went away. It's not the quietest pressing, but the music comes through beautifully. Definitely a step up from streaming. The black 180g seems to be the one to get.

Let's Talk discussion on AM album and its vinyl mastering
The mastering on the vinyl is so much better. It's not even close. The digital version is a loud mess, but the vinyl has space and texture. Ray Janos did an amazing job. If you only ever hear the digital version, you're missing half of what makes this album great.
