We put new Duracell batteries in and the swing runs for about 5 minutes then stops. Tried adjusting the weight, nothing. Read online that this is a common defect. Returning it. Should've checked reviews first.

We have the Ingenuity Swing 'n Go and it's perfect for our tiny apartment. Folds up flat, easy to move from room to room. Battery life is meh but we just use rechargeables. If you have more space, Graco DuetSoothe is better but this is great for portability.

Recommendation for a portable swing in Toronto condo
Got the Hugs & Hoots design. It's a lifesaver for our 3 month old. Folds away when not in use. Music is a nice touch. The motor is quiet. Only downside is battery drain, but we use an external battery pack with a USB adapter (the Chambray version has USB). Overall, worth it for small spaces.
