RETURN
Horrible return service. Purchased as a gift. Paid $18 shipping but recipient already had this so I had to return. Contacted Customer Service and they gave me a return code but said return shipping would be my responsibility. It cost me $40 to return. You should have given me a return address label and deducted $18 from my refund!! Instead it cost me $58. Never again!!!

We received an extra Infant Car Seat and when we went to return one, the cost to ship it was $70, in which we were responsible for! This is so wild to me in a day where shipping is a cost of doing business and yet, CHICCO expects consumers to pay that cost for returns. I caution consumers looking to purchase from website as returns will be at your cost and a very high cost at that.
Durable; Install is easy
This base is the best! I have had 2 children and 3 grandchildren and this is by far my favorite I’ve ever used. I used to swap it in and out of my daughter’s car (with ease! So easy to install/uninstall) until I got my own because I loved it so much. I can tell it’s super durable and also very safe, I know my grandson is protected in this. I highly recommend to anyone with a baby!!

I love this base!! It’s so easy to install in both of my cars, I don’t even mind having to swap it out. I also love how lightweight it is and the shape makes it super easy to carry and maneuver, especially while carrying my baby. The car seat easily secures in it and also easy to take out, while still feeling like my baby is safe while in the car.

Easiest install and preferred over Nuna Pipa
We’ve tried a couple of infant seats out there and the Chicco keyfit base was by far the easiest install we’ve had. It literally takes 5 seconds to swap cars. We 1000 times preferred the Chicco to the Nuna Pipa.

Positive review and stroller compatibility
The Chicco Keyfit always gets top reviews. We went with the Air Zip model since it came with a bunting cover and the shade goes down farther, plus we felt like the materials were nicer. It’s also relatively affordable. One thing I also loved was using the Chicco Keyfit Caddy which is just a tiny frame stroller but was perfect for doctors offices and super super light. Also consider what your main stroller will be and if it’s compatible with it. Chicco was compatible with the Bob which we love and Uppababy.
