Community Q&A

Does the Jeep Destination Ultralight fit through standard doors?
Yes, it fits through most 30-inch doorways, but its width can still be tricky in very tight spaces.
Is it suitable for newborns?
No, it's not infant car seat compatible and doesn't fully recline flat, so it's recommended for babies who can sit up (around 6 months).
How does the push compare to more expensive strollers?
The push is decent for a lightweight stroller, but it can feel flimsy on rough terrain compared to premium brands like Baby Jogger.

Compared To

vs Baby Jogger City Mini GT Double

The City Mini GT is heavier but more durable and has better sun canopies; Jeep is lighter and cheaper.

vs Zoe Twin+

Zoe Twin+ is even lighter with better accessories, but more expensive; Jeep is a good budget alternative.

vs Contours Element

Contours Element is heavier with all-terrain wheels; Jeep is slimmer and lighter but less rugged.

  • Budget pick with trade-offs

I have the Jeep Destination Ultralight. It's great for the price. Super light, fits through doors easily. But the seats are narrow, my 3yo is almost too big. And it feels a little cheap, like I don't expect it to last forever. Still, for $200 it's hard to beat. We used it at Disney and it was perfect for that.

  • Lightweight for travel and tight spaces

I have the Jeep Destination and love it for travel. It's 20lbs, folds small, stands on its own. The push is okay, not amazing, but fine for malls and paved paths. Con: canopies are tiny and the kids kick each other. I got it for a cruise and it worked great. For everyday, maybe not if you're rough on strollers.

  • Narrow and good maneuverability

I owned the Jeep Destination. Pros: narrow, fits through all doors, lightweight. Cons: the wheels are small and it feels tippy on uneven ground. The fabric isn't very breathable. Used it for 6 months then sold it because my kids outgrew it fast. It's a decent budget side-by-side if you're mainly indoors or on smooth pavement.

  • Good for older babies, not newborns

I got the Jeep double because it was light and cheap. My 6mo and 2yo fit fine. BUT: it doesn't recline flat, so not newborn friendly. The 5-point harness is hard to adjust. Canopies are a joke. Still, it's easy to fold and carry. If you need something quick and you're not doing rough terrain, go for it.

  • Cheap but not durable

We had the Jeep Destination. Bought it used for $100. It served its purpose but I wouldn't buy it new. The brake broke after a few months, the canopy bar snapped, and the seats squeaked like crazy. If you only need it short term, fine. Otherwise save up for something better like the Zoe or Baby Jogger.
