Comparison between Maxi-Cosi Iora and Halo BassiNest
Im literally shopping between the two of these as well. I lean towards the Halo for the swivel and vibrating feature. The Iora is nice but seems bulkier. I do love the sliding feature though. I think I'm going with the Halo for the functionality.

Iora reviews highlight sliding feature but sheet issue
I have the Iora and mostly love it! It looks beautiful and I love the sliding function for night feeds. BUT my biggest complaint is about the sheets. Maxi Cosi doesn't sell replacement sheets individually! You have to buy the whole mattress pad set which is like $40-50. So annoying when you just need extra sheets for spit up.

Iora praised for travel and style in bassinet discussion
I have the Maxi Cosi Iora and love it. It’s beautiful, folds up for travel, and the storage basket is huge. We’ve taken it on road trips and it’s held up well. The only downside is it’s heavy and takes up a good amount of space, but the functionality is worth it.

Iora vs Newton bedside sleeper comparison
I was deciding between the Newton and the Iora. Ended up with the Iora because I liked the sliding feature and the fact that it's easy to clean. Newton is fully breathable which is nice, but the cleaning seemed like a hassle. Iora mattress is also pretty firm. Still happy with my choice.

Iora recommended for travel but not small spaces
I know you said not right up against the bed, but the Iora actually slides so you can have it close or far. It's great for travel—folds down into a bag. It is bulky though, so if space is an issue, maybe not the best. We love it for visiting family.

Iora considered but rejected due to size in bassinet request
We looked at the Maxi Cosi Iora because of the sliding feature, but it was just too big for our room. Ended up with a Halo swivel instead because it fits better next to our bed. The Iora is nice if you have the space.
