Watch Out For
Community Q&A
- Is the UPPAbaby Vista V3 really that bulky?
- Yes, it is larger and heavier than many strollers, making it less ideal for frequent car trips or tight store aisles, but it handles well on walks and has great storage.
- Should I get the Vista V3 or the Cruz V3?
- Choose Vista if you plan to have more kids and need a double stroller or want the bassinet included; choose Cruz for a lighter, more compact single stroller.
- Is the Vista V3 worth the price?
- Many users feel it's a worthwhile investment for the quality and longevity, especially if you plan to use it for multiple children, but the high cost and extra accessories are noted drawbacks.
- Does the Vista V3 come with a bassinet?
- No, the bassinet is no longer included with the V3 (unlike V2); it must be purchased separately or you need an infant insert for newborn use.
Compared To
vs UPPAbaby Cruz V2/V3
Cruz is lighter and cheaper, but lacks the bassinet and double-kid capability of the Vista. Many recommend Cruz if you don't need the double option.
vs Nuna MIXX
Nuna MIXX is comparable in quality but may have different folding and storage characteristics; some prefer it over Vista for being less bulky.
vs Baby Jogger City Tour 2
Lighter, more portable travel stroller; some switched to it from Vista due to Vista's bulk.
vs Silver Cross Wave
Wave has bassinet on top in double mode, but fold is worse and too warm for some climates.

Positive experience with Vista V3 for all-terrain and newborn use
We did the uppababy vista V3 with the maxicosi pebble and I highly recommend both!! Our LO is 3 months and loves the pram. It’s so smooth compared to our yoyo in every way - the buttons, the basket below, the material itself, and the wheels over all terrain. ... I also live in Queensland and the silver Cross just seemed way too warm and padded for our weather... I haven’t found any of them overly heavy. ... The only challenge I had was post C-section. ... I have the v3 and love it. It’s so smooth! And I love all the storage space! ... The only issue I’ve ran into is it’s not the best at some stores because you can’t get through if the aisles are narrow but that’s not a big deal to me.

Mixed long-term experiences: smooth but bulky, many switched to lighter strollers
The vista is a beast, if you’ll be going in and out of the car a lot I’d consider something lighter! I ended up with 2 strollers... the vista which we use strictly for neighbourhood walks... If you need all terrain (trails etc) I wouldn’t get the vista. ... I dislike the vista. I got it with my first (singleton) and it was fine. It also worked well enough for the twins as infants but once they got a little older I didn’t like how one got a really bad view on walks. It’s also pretty heavy. I bought a baby jogger city tour 2 for travel when they were 1 and it’s all I use now while the vista gathers dust. ... Since the Vista can’t be used before your baby is 3 months, that means you’ll need to buy the bassinet or infant seat insert separately.

Acknowledgment of bulkiness but justification for specific lifestyles
We went with the Vista V3. ... Weight of the prams wasn’t really an issue for me. The only challenge I had was post C-section. ... Uppababy Vista plus Nuna Pipa RX and TRVL. I definitely used the TRVL more for the first 4 months or so. It weighs nothing! I also had a C section and didn’t have any trouble lifting it. I use the Vista for neighborhood walks and longer outings. ... I pack it in my car every week and take my baby to the mall. It’s super easy to fold down. Maybe I’m just used to it because it’s the only stroller I’ve ever had but I don’t find the bulkiness a problem.

Comparison with Cruz V3: Cruz preferred for lighter weight, Vista for double option
I've got the old 2019 Vista - after two kids if I was buying one today I'd buy the Cruz V2. It's heaps cheaper and bassinets are easy to find on marketplace barely used (the bassinet from the Vista fits). The old Cruz when I bought my Vista had smaller wheels and a tiny under basket - the current models they're the same. ... I also can't fault Uppababy's warranty... I also never used the Vista as a double, my kids were just over 3 years apart so we just use the piggyback skateboard. ... the space in the basket is amazing if you walk and do the grocery shopping.

Decision help between Vista V3 and Cruz V3: emphasis on family plans and bulk
Goal is to use this in City, Malls and light off road not as a travel stroller. ... I have below options in mind with only 1 kid who will use the Pram Stoller, so not looking at a double stroller with an intent for 2 kids but happy to buy the Vista V3 if it ticks other boxes. ... Uppababy Vista V3 Pros - Same as above but double the price of Cruz, Get a bassinet which is good for new born but price is double, More color options, Bigger wheels than Cruz. Cons - Same as V2 except you have a dedicated basinet for Vista. ... I've got the old 2019 Vista - after two kids if I was buying one today I'd buy the Cruz V2.
