The splash guard only blocks pee from going between the potty seat and the adult toilet seat. Pee still gets in between the adult toilet seat and the toilet rim, causing pee to go down the front of the toilet. It’s honestly more of a mess than if there was no splash guard at all... Disappointing.

Comparison of built-in potty seats favoring Jool Quick Flip
I got the Jool Baby Quick Flip for both bathrooms. I recommend it... The only thing I don't like and it's very minimal is that sometimes I have to push the toddler seat down a little bit but it's not a big deal. I haven't found a potty seat that contains my little boys pee over the toilet yet. He does really well inside and it still kind of squirts out of the top... We had the two piece [Mayfair NextStep] one before this one and it's way better imo!
